Good Evening, I attended the Icon’s Of Wrestling event today in Philadelphia. I wanted to share a few words and some photos from the event. Thanks ~ David
After attending last years event I was looking forward to seeing how they would follow things up. They had a lot of big name talent today but their set up this year was a disaster from the minute I walked in. Everything was unorganized, they clearly didn’t have enough security or a better system in place as to which talents line was which. Everyone including myself were pretty confused as to who’s line we were even standing in.
Although I would have liked to meet a few different people today I decided the main two I would go with were Scott Hall and Rey Mysterio. I first met Scott Hall, we spoke for a few minutes and I had him sign his defining moments figure, he included “HOF 2014” and I asked if he could also add his iconic “Hey Yo”. I then met Rey Mysterio. His line wasn’t anywhere as bad as Scott Hall’s. This was the first time I’ve met Rey he looked to be in great shape and was extremely nice. It was a real pleasure to meet him.
This promotion is coming back to Philly in August. I hope they have things figured out by then and running a lot better!
