FANS’ LETTER TO TITO SANTANA

AND WRESTLERS BIRTHDAYS FOR MAY…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TITO SANTANA:
Hi Georgie,   Kelli and I wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to one of my All-Time Wrestling Heroes, WWF/E Hall Of Famer Tito Santana. I have been a pro wrestling fan for 26 years(Kelli has been for 28 years,a match made in Heaven.) and in all of that time,Tito Santana was one of only 3 wrestlers (Bob Backlund and Bret Hart are the other 2) that really inspired me to push harder in sports and in life. Tito's accomplishments are well known. He was a 2x WWF/E Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion(and in my eyes, The greatest Intercontinental Champion of All Time) 2x WWF/E World Tag Team Champion(Ivan Putski and Rick Martel were his partners), 1989 WWF/E King Of The Ring and ECW World Heavyweight Champion. What makes him so great (in my eyes) was that he could wrestle any style of match whether it was Scientific, Brawling and/or Ariel, Santana was one of the best in wrestling that could wrestle all 3 styles. He showed me (as a young kid during his WWF Prime) that even though he lost a match, He never would quit trying. Besides the Santana/Valentine feud, The best example I can give was when he lost the IC Belt to Randy Savage. He kept going and going until he and Martel teamed up as Strike Force.  They went on to defeat the Hart Foundation to become WWF/E World Tag Team Champions. I have been very fortunate to see and meet Tito when he wrestled for WWF/E, World X-treme Wrestling(WXW),Continental Championship Wrestling(CCW) and East Coast Pro Wrestling(ECPW). He has always been a gentleman to Kelli and I. He is a real class act. I have never seen him turn down a fan for a Autograph and he would always take the time to talk to you. Again, A real class act and a true Champion. On May 20, 2006, I will have a chance to see history as Tito Santana and Fellow WWF/E Hall Of Famer Ivan Putski (A great guy as well as being Tito's 1st Tag Team Championship Partner) will be at Carson's Pro Wrestling World in Allentown,PA. I am really looking forward to this signing and I thank Bud Carson and www.Wrestlingfigs for posting it. I do not have Tito's e-mail address and I am sure he wants his privacy and I fully understand. But since this is Tito's Birthday, Hopefully he will see it and as a Gigantic Tito Santana fan, I just wanted to let him know that we were thinking of him on his birthday and we hope he has many more. He made a big difference in my life by showing how a man and a Champion should act and he did inspire me to get into Weightlifting as well.
