…..

Funk's Corner - I'm Not as Good as I Once Was,
but I'm as good once, as I ever was!!

Marti, myself and Funking Conservatory athletes, Johnny Magnum, The Claw, Big Mike Hall, Lonnie Valdez, Blain Rage Jon Davis and Marti's videographer, Shawnee attended the NWA-TNA Impact taping last night at Universal Studios in Orlando.

The show was outstanding Entertainment.

My thanks to Jeremy Borash for the introduction as former NWA World Champion at the start of the show. Jeremy also mentioned that Jeff Jarrett wears the same NWA World Championship belt.

Opening the show to a huge pop from the crowd was the current All Japan Pro-Wrestling Real World League Champions, 3-D. I spoke to them backstage and told them they have two more to go to catch up with Terry and I as three time All Japan Pro Wrestling Real World League Tag Team Champions. 3-D are really over with the wrestling Fans of today.

I also spoke to Sting Backstage, or was it really Sting I spoke to? Check out this week's Impact and tell me?

We watched a match teaming former students of the "Dory Funk Method" of Professional Wrestling Christian and Rhino defeating two recent opponents of Terry and myself, America's Most Wanted, James Storm and Chris Harris.

Two other students of the "Dory Funk Method" of Professional Wrestling, Chris Sabin and Christopher Daniels teamed with the Phenomenal A.J. Styles against Alex Shelley, Austin Aries and Roderick Strong in an exciting six man tag match.

The main event is what draws the money and The heat on Jarrett and Monty Brown is strong. Their opponents Christian and Sting are over which should make for increased buy rates for the upcoming PPV January 15th, "Final Resolution."

Even though I am "Not as good as I once was, I'm as good once, as I ever was,"

It was such a thrill to meet my Country Music Idol, Toby Keith, and his family. You never know who your are going to meet at NWA-TNA wrestling!

Training at the Funking Conservatory begins January 14th and runs through February 3rd. For more information call 352-895-4658 or visit our website at www.dory-funk.com
