IWA-MS Midlothian, IL Report, 407 fans by Derek Burgan and Keith Lipinski

1. Team Underground defeated Deranged & Brain Damage in 5:12 after a spike piledriver. Eric Priest and Chandler McClure (Team Underground) botched finish, but came back later on the show and performed the move perfectly on hated referee Phil Drummond.

2. Mickie Knuckles won a tag team elimination women's match to unify the IWA-MS Womens and the NWA-Midwest Womens title in 6:56 when Mickie pinned Vanessa Kraven after Knuckles tag team partner MsChiff used her mist on Vanessa and Mickie hit her with a shining wizard. Kraven's partner was Daizee Haze. Mickie and Kraven, on their knees, had a CHOP BATTLE.

3. 9 Man TLC Title Shot Gauntlet Match Darrin Corbin won in 22:45 after he grabbed the Contract with IWA-MS sticker on it, after Chris Hero's interference cost Trik Davis the match. This was a crazy spot fest and quite fun. Marak almost killed himself with a shooting star press off the top rope in which he came down hard straight on the ringpost and ended up falling through a table afterwards. Finish came when Davis and Corbin were battling up the ladder when Chris Hero ran in and put Davis in the Electric Chair. Corbin then climbed up and grabbed the title shot contract for a 4/22 match against Arik Cannon. Corbin, a small red headed heel, was one of the most over heels on the show (possibly only behind Hero). Normally a chickenshit heel, Corbin shot a very serious promo after the match.
Order of Entry for the match was Tyler Black, Marek Brave, Trik Davis, Ricochet, Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Chuck Taylor, Billy Roc

4, The Thomasellis defeated Matt "Spike Dudley" Hyson/Eddie Kingston/Larry Sweeney in 13:21 after Brandon Tomaselli used his double knees powerbomb on Spike for the win. Spike entered the match from the crowd to deliver weak chair shots and a strong promo that blasted Vince Mcmahon and WWE. Crowd dogged Spike, but he responded with, "I don't have a job. Boo hoo for me." But went on to explain that he didn't care if he wasn't working for a company that didn't know anything about wrestling. Something happened when Kingston was thrown out of the ring, as the Thomaselli's stalled for several minutes and Kingston was all but useless the rest of the match. Spike juiced huge during the match.

5. Josh Abercrombie defeated Ruckus in 11:48 with the phoenix splash. Lots of flippity-do action. Ruckus looked impressive and go a "please come back" chant.

6. Ian Rotten defeated Kevin Steen in 11:58 with a rollup. Steen shot promo before the match saying this was IWA MS' version of Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon. Steen then proceeded to do a lot of HBK moves and manuerisms throughout the match, including a refusal to put on the sharpshooter.  Steen did a superkick (more shades of HBK) but Rotten rolled him up for the upset.

7. Delirious defeated El Generico in 15:55. Great comedy match.

8. "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein defeated Tank in 9:59. Big spot in this match was a HEADBUTT BATTLE outside the ring. Klien did a Van Terminator on Tank in the corner.

9. Low Ki defeated Necro Butcher at 22:06 with his dragon clutch submission. Crowd was red hot for the entire match. A huge amount of red and black streamers were thrown in for Ki. Fantastic match. Ki does the Tajiri-like scream before some moves to great effect. Spot of the match was Ki putting Necro on a table and delivering a Ghetto Stomp off the top rope. Worth going out of your way to see on DVD. In Dr. Keith's opinion this was better than Samoa Joe vs. Necro.  Ki's intensity is so incredible live, and Necro was perfect for taking the punishment

10. Chris Hero defeated Milano Collection AT in 23:55 with a powerbomb into boston crab for the submission. Excellent wrestling match that wasn't a let down even after the intensity of Ki/Necro. Hero played a fantastic heel, really screwing with the crowd. Milano shined in the match. Very good show overall.
