Hi Georgie,
I know that this website is alot of hard work and it makes work easier when you love what you do but I wanted to give a public shout out to you and those that make wrestlingfigs possible. It's a great site and I try to visit it twice a day.
Here is a quick report for the KANE autograph signing that took place this past saturday in Oceanside
The signing started right on time at 2p.m. and around 350 people showed up for it.
It was cool to talk to alot of the other wrestling fans and see the belts, figures and photos they had for the big red machine to sign.
This was the first time I took my son (11) to meet a pro wrestler and he said that "Kane was the size of a monster", lol, but my son loved meeting Kane and can hardly wait to meet more wrestlers.
Everyone there felt the same way after meeting Kane, he was so cool to meet, he was nice and he thanked us for showing up, and for being fans and he said he appreciated that we waited for him.
Kane was very laid back and a real pleasure to meet.
I got my belt signed by him and my son got a 8 x10 (given to us from someone we met named Wesley) signed by Kane.
Wesley and his girlfriend drove from San Jose which is a solid 7 and a half hour drive from oceanside and and wesley was nice enough to give my son and I a 8 x 10 of Kane in the ring for him to sign.
Everything went well. No line jumpers, the event was well organized and the people at Carl's Jr did a great job of organizing the event.
Several radio stations and a television station were there as well and they were giving out free tickets to the wwe's ecw pay per view.
Over 20 pairs of tickets were given away. As well as wwe robes, t-shirts and other prizes. All in all, we had a blast and things couldn't have gone much better.
I have included some photos of my son and I meeting Kane, of our new friend Wesley and the big red machine himself.
