Autograph signing was a BLAST!!…..

I started using your web site over the last few months. I always checked the
upcoming autograph signing dates to see if my appearances are legit.

Over the last few years I was advertised by promoters for conventions and
autograph signings.  I usually accepted the booking, since I enjoy meeting
wrestlers and fans that I have not seen in awhile. Unfortunantly the bulk of
those bookings would  get cancelled. Just like any fan who looks forward in
attending, I would also be dissapointed.

I grew to be very skeptical when promoters would inquire to book me [I try to have a second party do most of the negotiating for me]. Since most of them are going to advertise me and then cancel without ever calling me. I would have to find out about the booking being cancelled on the net.

This past Saturday, I did a signing for Bud Carson's wrestling store in
conjunction with K & S wrestling.  I had one of the best times in wrestling
in years. I took the booking more to see old time friends than to be just
another payday. I saw fans that I have not seen in years. Everybody was
awesome. I was so happy that every wrestler advertised showed up. This was
important to me on a personal perspective. I saw John Tatum who I have not
seen in 20 years. We caught up on life after wrestling, our family lives,
our wrestling days and more.  I would have never recognized Johnny in a
million years. He looked more like a distinguised college professor than the
"Hollywood" John Tatum I remember him as.

I saw Steve Williams who I have not seen in 8 years.  I'm glad he survived
his chemo.  Steve is a great person and still has knowledge to contribute in
the wrestling industry.  He wrestled 15 matches with a hole in his throat
from the cancer and voice box.  I bet he can still stretch most of today's
jabronies.

Buddy Roberts I barely recognized. He also survived throat cancer. Buddy
caught me up on his wife [great lady] and his kids. Buddy is still funny and
very genuine.

I was so happy to see the fans. One fan told me how he just had heart
surgery last year. Another fan just came back from Iraq.  I'm still a fan at
heart.  I even stayed at Bud Carson's store for almost a hour after the
signing.  I saw some of the best collectibles ever.  I even traded my bra and
underwear for some of it.   It was great merchandise damn it! Too bad there is
no Missy figure for me to buy at his store.  Hey Bud, get me a custom made
Missy figure.

K & S were a class act. They kept the autograph signing organized.  It was
so stress free. I was able to interact with the fans.  It wasn't one of those
"here's your autograph, next" type signings. I never found those signings
fun, by the way.

No matter what anybody in the industry thinks about me. I always busted my
ass at autograph signings.  I would be nothing without the fans. Whatever
entertainment value I ever gave them was the highlight of my life.

I was so touched by how nice the promoters and the fans were to me. Call me
sappy, but it made me proud to be able to still consider myself part of the
wrestling industry.

Let me throw out a quick plug for myself at
www.missyhyatt.net.  The site got
tons of pictures of myself, reality video and more. You won't be disappointed.

Also stop by Bud Carson's wrestling store. He got my bra and underwear for
sale [I won't mention what wrestling merchandise I traded it for] and more.
K & S wrestling rules. I ejoyed myself at the last two signings I did for
them.
