| August 8th: This weekend will be the most important weekend in the history of the ROH World Title. ROH World Champion CM Punk is set to defend the belt this Friday in Dayton in an elimination four-way that includes Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and James Gibson. If Punk retains the title in Dayton, he will defend it in Chicago against longtime friend Colt Cabana. Chicago will be Punk's final night in ROH. Punk has one goal and that is to finish his independent wrestling career in his hometown of Chicago by defeating his career long rival/friend and then to walk out of ROH as champion. The future of the ROH World Title is in jeopardy this weekend and simply put we need Joe, Daniels, Gibson or Cabana to stop Punk from leaving with the belt.
