NWS Announces All Weekend Events Are On!

After the severe weather that affected parts of New Jersey this past Monday, National Wrestling Superstars consulted with the buildings and sponsors of both tonight’s Carteret event and tomorrow’s J-Cup in Manville and announced that both shows will go on as scheduled.

Tonight’s event, at the Holy Family Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue in Carteret will feature the master of the figure 4 leg lock, the former WWE multi-title holder and second generation wrestler Greg “The Hammer” Valentine plus a tag title match pitting the Sychodelic Sissies (or Studs as they prefer to be called) against Team Supreme (Nicky Oceans and Corvis Fear) and, as you read on the sheets, the possible last match Dirtbag Dan Petit, who has made it clear, both on the sheets and on his Myspace page that he will be done with wrestling.

And tomorrow’s event at the Manville VFW will also go on as planned. With neighboring towns such as Bound Brook still reeling from the effects of the storm, the NWS and local Scout Troops have promised to do something good for those affected by the storm. Aside from the much anticipated J-Cup tournament, (which after injuries and cancellations, looks like an event worth seeing), those attending will get to see the first NWS appearance of David Sammartino, son of the Living Legend Bruno and Greg The Hammer Valentine.

For those attending tonight’s event, NWS will be making a special announcement regarding Saturday’s event.

And after all this, don’t forget about Sunday’s event at the National Guard Armory in Wilmington, DE hosted by the NWS Delaware affiliate, Funkdafied Wrestling Federation which will also feature Greg The Hammer Valentine.
