The 2019 Crockett Cup is here and all the the hype has built to this moment.  Ring of Honor’s “the Villain” Marty Scurll is poised to make history as he faces his best friend The National Treasure Nick Aldis for the famed NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.  The full story was told this week in the Ten Pounds Of Gold series produced by Lighting One.   Watch the full episode now.

The Crockett Cup will also feature a one night tag team tournament that gets it roots from the original event in Jim Crockett Promotions from 1986-1988.  This 2019 version will feature teams like The Birscoes, PCO & Brody King, Flip Gordon and Bandido,  Jax Dane and Crimson, from CMLL  Stuka Jr and Gurerro Maya Jr.,, from New Japan Prom Wrestling Yuji Nagata and former NWA Champion Kojima, and the legendary Rock N Roll Express.
