Hey Georgie,
Today (9-17) I went to the Big Apple Convention in NYC and I took my younger sister Laura. It was a great day of meeting the legendary wrestlers. I was disappointed because beforehand Larry Zbyszko, Sika, and Rocky Johnson were canceled, but then I heard that Larry was sick and canceled a week in advance, Sika had travel problems, and Rocky had surgery on his knee. Then when I got there, King Kong Bundy did not show - he called 2 hours prior because he was sick - and Nicole Bass pulled a no-show.
So, I wound up meeting Afa, Lou Albano, Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik, Jimmy Hart, and, of course, Bruno Sammartino! All were great, but Bruno was a class act, if I ever saw. Even my sister loved him! Here are the pictures.
