ROH TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS REUNION IN MONTRÉAL

Hello Wrestling fans !

Here is a quick report on the WWE SmackDown! live event held at the Bell Center Saturday night. In an unexpected turn of events, the show concluded with long time bitter rivals Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn fighting side by side in the middle of the ring.

Moments earlier, Zayn was defeated by WWE champion Jinder Mahal after interference from the Singh brothers. As Hall of Famer Pat Patterson left his ringside seat to climb onto the apron and argue with the referee, Owens stormed the ring to rescue his fellow Quebecer from a assault from the Indian trio. Then, after a little stare down, they cleaned house; Mahal was ejected from the ring with a double clothesline, and one of the Singh brother received a ”Helluva kick”, followed by Owens patented pop-up power bomb.

Although they never shook hands, they clearly were on the same page. Owens then left the ring, lifted his son from his ringside seat and left to the back. And just like the last time, Zayn draped a Quebec flag around his shoulders and greeted the fans on his way to the dressing room.

-Tag-Team champions New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) beat Ascension when Kofi pinned Viktor to retain the titles.

-Women champion Naomi pinned Carmella after a rear view.

-Luke Harper & Sin Cara won over Aiden English & Eric Rowan when Harper pinned his former partner following a hard clothesline.

-Nakamura & A.J Styles beat Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin after Nakamura pinned Corbin after his kinshasa knee to the face.

-The brute Rusev made Tye Dillinger submit to his ”accolade”

-Natalya pinned Charlotte Flair with a roll-up.

Once again, they created another exclusive KO T-Shirt for the Montreal market, as you can see in the pictures included. All in all just an OK show, saved by the post match ending.
