Shane Taylor Promotions have been dominant ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions since winning the belts in February, but they’ll face their toughest challenge yet when they meet The Righteous (Vincent, Bateman and Dutch) at Final Battle: End of an Era on Dec. 11 in Baltimore.

With ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title co-holder Shane Taylor signed to square off with Kenny King in a grudge match at Final Battle, the ROH Board of Directors has enacted the Freebird Rule, which allows any member of a faction to defend the six-man title. Therefore, O’Shay Edwards will take Taylor’s place in the championship match and team with Soldiers of Savagery’s Moses and Kaun.

Edwards and SOS successfully defended the six-man tag team title against La Faccion Ingobernable at Death Before Dishonor in September.

No one knows more about the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title than Righteous leader Vincent. When Vincent was a member of The Kingdom, he, Matt Taven and TK O’Ryan were the inaugural six-man tag team champions and won the title a record three times.

The Righteous is coming off a big win over The Foundation (Jonathan Gresham, Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus) in six-man tag action last month.
