Many wrestling websites are reporting that the WWE is actually thinking of replacing announcer Jim Ross with the possibility of UFC announcer Mike Goldberg as a replacement.
At this time it is still considered a rumor, although it is a very strong rumor. Many long time wrestling fans, such as myself, feel very badly about this news. JR is really one of the last old school announcers who is best behind the mic.
We all know that Vince McMahon wants his shows to be Entertainment shows, not wrestling shows. But I really think this move will piss off many WRESTLING fans. And I feel JR deserves better, and should leave the RAW broadcasting team, when he feels the time is right. JR is THE best wrestling announcer around, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it......
