As you can tell from the above, WSU will be busy in August, because when the sun and heat is at its hottest in August, WSU will be at its hottest as well, as
many huge matches have been signed! All roads lead to August 22nd, the next mega WSU Double DVD taping, and there will be many stops until we get to 8/22!
One match signed for the big event on 8/22 is a WSU Tag Team Title Match, between current champions Alicia & Brooke Carter and Rain & Angel Orsini. In a
preview of this match, WSU Tag Champion Brooke Carter will take on whom many call the best ever WSU Champion in WSU history, former champion Angel Orsini.
This match will be a test for the young Carter. Carter, who many forget, doesn't even have a full year in pro wrestling, has already tasted gold, by winning
the WSU Tag Team Championships. Carter has shown spunk and the desire to be the best, like a true warrior.
While Carter may have somewhat been overmatched during her WSU tenure, Carter has been able to beat the odds time and time again, picking up huge wins faster
than any other womens wrestler in recent history. However, Carter will have her biggest match of her career yet when she battles Angel Orsini on 8/1.
Orsini has made it known that she plans on humbling Ms. Carter on 8/1 and will pummel her, in order to weaken her up when they have their tag team title show
down on 8/22. Carter, never afraid of a challenge, proudly stated that she looks forward to proving the womens wrestling world wrong, when she defeats Orsini
on 8/1.
Orsini, coming off the longest ever womens match in womens wrestling history (and what many are calling the best ever womens wrestling match EVER), looks to
start down a new road in WSU, as she is no longer able to challenge for the WSU Championship while Mercedes Martinez holds it, due to the match stipulation
when she lost her epic Iron-Woman encounter with Martinez. However, Rain, in a role reversal from earlier this year, has promised Orsini that if Orsini helps
Rain win the WSU Championship, then Rain will be able to give Orsini a WSU Championship match. Rain wants all the gold in WSU and plans on taking over, with
the first checkmark on the list being the WSU Tag Team Titles.
Can Orsini dominate the tag division with Rain as she dominated as WSU champion for 11 months? The road to gold begins on 8/1, when Angel Orsini takes on WSU
Tag Champion Brooke Carter!

"The Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez has been nothing but a true champion, ever since she won the WSU Championship from Angel Orsini in a Bullrope Match
on 3/7/09 at WSU's 2nd Anniversary Show. However, while the chase to the championship was rough and rocky, Martinez is finding that it's very lonely at the
top and will have to defend against all-comers.
After turning down Orsini in a 70 minute Iron-Woman match, Martinez looks to embark onto the next chapter of her WSU career. Martinez will make her first WSU
Title defense since winning the Iron-Woman match on 8/8 at American Championship Entertainment (ACE) Wrestling. Martinez was supposed to make her first
defense after the Ironwoman match on 6/20 at ACE, but due to an injury and a personal situation, Martinez was unable to appear. However, the open challenge
Martinez put out at ACE has been answered, by none other than former WSU Champion Nikki Roxx!
Roxx brought up the fact that she never ever got her WSU championship rematch after losing her championship on 5/31/08 to Angel Orsini. Roxx said that due to
her Uncensored Rumble 2 win, where the winner would be deemed the Number 1 contender to the WSU Championship, she technically she has two title shots coming
to her.
WSU has ruled in Roxx's favor and has signed both matches. WSU management has ruled in Roxx's favor under the condition if Roxx wins the championship on 8/8,
Martinez will get her rematch on 8/22, therefore there is no false advertising and our advertised matches take place. If Martinez retains on 8/8, Roxx will
get her second rematch on 8/22, as the announced & advertised match for 8/22 will take place.
WSU will be giving away the first time ever battle under the WSU banner between these two mega-stars at ACE on 8/8. This will be a main event quality match,
where the result will bring a major impact to WSU.
For those unaware of Roxx's career in WSU, here is a brief run-down:
Nikki Roxx was involved in the WSU title tournament on 7/14/07 to crown the first ever WSU champion. Roxx made it to the finals, but lost to Alicia, in a
match that also included Amy Lee & Luna Vachon. Roxx would go on to be the first ever WSU #1 contender, but lost to Alicia. After losing, Roxx developed a
darker side and seemed to prefer taking the easy way out. Roxx devised a plan at the 2008 King & Queen of the Ring Tournament and entered the tournament
impromptu. Roxx & partner Rhett Titus won the tournament, in a match where then-WSU champion Sunny was special guest referee. Roxx said she wasn't here to
win just the tournament, she wanted the gold and insulted Sunny. Sunny wanted a piece of Roxx, but then-number 1 contender Alexa Thatcher said she was the
number 1 contender and wanted a shot. Since the fans were asking for it, NWS commissioner sanctioned the match and on 3/21/08 Roxx won the WSU Championship
with an assist from co-hort Becky Bayless.
From there, Roxx defended the WSU championship against Alexa Thatcher & Cindy Rogers, both who were co-number 1 contenders for the WSU championship at the
time. WSU, the leader of womens wrestling in the northeast, allows the championship to be defended on outside events, to increase the awareness and prestige
of the championship. Roxx put out an open-challenge on 5/31/08, which Angel Orsini answered. Orsini, coming off a string of rough losses, was able to upset
Roxx and win the championship.
From there, Roxx took a sabbatical from WSU, as she focused her efforts in TNA. Roxx returned to WSU on 6/6, where she entered the Uncensored Rumble 2. The
winner of the match would become number 1 contender. Roxx would lastly eliminate Rain, who ironically defeated Roxx earlier in the night, to win the match
and earn a shot at the championship.
By Roxx's count, Roxx has earned 2 title matches, as she never received her automatic rematch after losing the championship the first time and by virtue of
winning the Uncensored Rumble. Roxx will have two chances to win the belt that she lost over a year ago, when she challenges Mercedes Martinez on 8/8. If
Roxx is unable to win the championship, Roxx will cash in her rematch on 8/22, at WSU's next event. However, if Roxx returns to championship form and defeats
Martinez, Martinez will then cash in her rematch clause on 8/22.
The WSU championship has changed hands 4 times on outside events. Roxx has been a huge part of that, winning the WSU championship on 3/21 and losing it on
5/31 in the year 2008. Roxx will like to get it done one more time in 2009 and lead WSU into 2010 as WSU womens champ.

What is the Spirit Championship? The Spirit Championship will be a championship division focused on all the up and comers in WSU. WSU has noticed the
blossoming and budding talents on our roster. WSU is not like other companies that rely on just big names, as WSU wants to be known for our homegrown stars.
In our short 2+ year history, WSU has seen the rise of many stars, including Miss April, who was recently signed to a WWE contract.
It is with this division we give our wrestlers a chance to compete for gold and name recognition. While the WSU Championship remains the most sought out
championship in womens wrestling, the Spirit division will capture the passion, the desire and the quest of wrestlers looking to ascend to the next level.
There are many future stars in WSU and the goal of this division is to acknowledge the talents, merit and SPIRIT of these wrestlers.
The WSU Championship Committee has determined that SPIRIT Championship matches will feature tomorrow's stars today! It is the goal of WSU to see the WSU
Spirit Championship launch careers to a higher level. With the WSU Spirit Championship, we expect to see WSU stars use this championship as a stepping stone
to the most prestigious and important championship in womens wrestling today - The WSU Championship.
WSU is proud to announce that Amber, Jana, Latasha, Lea Morrison, Roxxie Cotton & Jennifer Cruz have all thrown their names in the hat to make history, and
become the inaugural WSU Spirit Champion.
To crown the first ever WSU Spirit Championship, WSU will be shaking up the traditional 8-person/team tournament format. On 8/14 you will see three first
round matches. The winners of those three matches will then go on to a Triple Threat Elimination match to determine the first ever WSU Spirit Champion.
To make things fresh & exciting, the wrestlers won't know their opponents and a random drawing to determine first round pairings will be held 5 minutes
before belltime!
Here are mini-profiles on each of these candidates to become the first ever WSU Spirit Champion:
AMBER- Amber is a WSU original and was part of WSU's birth. Amber saw moderate success in WSU until taking time off to heal injuries in 2008. However, on
8/14, Amber makes her year long return to WSU and plans on returning with a bang- by winning the WSU Spirit Championship.
JANA- Jana, who once was part of the loveable Soul Sisters tag team, has had a major attitude change ever since turning on her ex-tag team partner Latasha.
Jana has been on the tear in WSU and came close on several occasions of becoming WSU Champion. It is with that spirit and vein that Jana hopes to become the
first ever Spirit Champion.
LATASHA- Ever since being dastardly and violently violated by her ex partner Jana, Latasha has looked to carve her niche in WSU, only to have Jana derail
Latasha's success. Latasha has shown her soul, tears & pride in every match she's had in WSU, and she's looking to show she has the most SPIRIT on 8/14.
LEA MORRISON- Lea Morrison, who just completed a years service in WSU, has had trouble in breaking the mold and ascending to the next level. Not content on
where she was in WSU, Morrison aligned with Kylie Pierce in a relationship that produced Morrison's first win. However, Morrison plans on winning alot more,
but will she have the SPIRIT to do it?
ROXXIE COTTON- Roxxie Cotton, the former 2-time WSU Tag Team Champion is no stranger to WSU gold. Cotton is looking to become the first ever tag & Spirit
Champion when she enters this tournament. After finally ridding herself of Rick Cataldo, this Beatdown Betty plans on showing WSU that she has all the SPIRIT
in the world on 8/14!
JENNIFER CRUZ- Jennifer Cruz, who debuted with WSU in April of 2009, looks to match her spunk and grittiness with her first WSU Championship. Cruz is still
seeking her first win in WSU. Does Cruz have enough Spirit to not only win her first match, but her second match in WSU and become WSU SPIRIT Champion? We'll
find out on 8/14!!!
One thing that can be promised, we will see four highly contested matches in the spirit of competition and survival of the fittest on 8/14. Be there to
witness WSU History!

While the Spirit Championship Tournament might be overwhelming enough, let's not forget about the huge 6-woman tag team match that has been signed for 8/14.
On one side you have all the gold in WSU, as WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez teams up with WSU Tag Champions Brooke Carter & Alicia. On the other side, you
have the longest reigning WSU Champion Angel Orsini teaming with Jessicka Havok & Hailey Hatred.
The Orsini/Martinez feud is like none other in womens wrestling history and is easily a candidate for not only feud of the year, but perhaps the biggest feud
ever in womens wrestling. After brawls, classic technical wrestling, street fights, draws, cage matches, bullrope matches & an epic 70 minute Ironwoman match
that changed the face of womens wrestling, these two have done it all. While Orsini can no longer get a WSU Championship match as a result of the Ironwoman
match, Orsini looks to extract revenge against her long-time rival in this 6-woman tag.
On June 6th, 2009, history was made when the former 2-time WSU Champion & perhaps a WSU Icon, Alicia, returned to the ring. Alicia joined forces with Brooke
Carter and successfully replaced Miss April by defeating Havok & Hatred in a explosive tag team match. Havok & Hatred have asked for a WSU Tag Team
Championship rematch, citing that they didn't know Alicia would be there on 6/6 and now can fully prepare. The WSU Championship Committee has sided with
Havok & Hatred on this issue, but...
Angel Orsini & Rain have been granted a WSU Tag Team Title Match on 8/22. WSU has determined that whoever walks out with the gold on the first taping of
WSU's 8/22 event between Alicia/Carter vs Rain/Orsini will take on Havok/Hatred on the second taping. That makes the chemistry between Orsini & her partners
all that more interesting, as possibly Orsini with Rain, could be taking on her tag team partners in this match just a week later!
Alicia has returned to WSU and is immediately thrown in the crossfire. With perhaps the WSU Rookie of the Year for 2009, Brooke Carter, this new team is
looking to establish their dominance over the WSU Tag Team Division. However it is no secret that Alicia & Carter would also love to add a WSU Championship
to their resume, as both competed in the WSU Uncensored Rumble for a shot at the WSU Championship, just like Havok & Hatred.
You have three champions on one side and three challengers. Everyone of these stars wants gold in WSU. This match perhaps be a huge preview of what's to be
in store for the rest of the calendar year in WSU. There are so many different stories and tales to be told heading into this match, but on 8/14, there will
only be one ending. What team will prove their superiority on 8/14?

As you can tell from the above, WSU will be busy in August, because when the sun and heat is at its hottest in August, WSU will be at its hottest as well, as
many huge matches have been signed! All roads lead to August 22nd, the next mega WSU Double DVD taping, and there will be many stops until we get to 8/22!
One match signed for the big event on 8/22 is a WSU Tag Team Title Match, between current champions Alicia & Brooke Carter and Rain & Angel Orsini. In a
preview of this match, WSU Tag Champion Brooke Carter will take on whom many call the best ever WSU Champion in WSU history, former champion Angel Orsini.
This match will be a test for the young Carter. Carter, who many forget, doesn't even have a full year in pro wrestling, has already tasted gold, by winning
the WSU Tag Team Championships. Carter has shown spunk and the desire to be the best, like a true warrior.
While Carter may have somewhat been overmatched during her WSU tenure, Carter has been able to beat the odds time and time again, picking up huge wins faster
than any other womens wrestler in recent history. However, Carter will have her biggest match of her career yet when she battles Angel Orsini on 8/1.
Orsini has made it known that she plans on humbling Ms. Carter on 8/1 and will pummel her, in order to weaken her up when they have their tag team title show
down on 8/22. Carter, never afraid of a challenge, proudly stated that she looks forward to proving the womens wrestling world wrong, when she defeats Orsini
on 8/1.
Orsini, coming off the longest ever womens match in womens wrestling history (and what many are calling the best ever womens wrestling match EVER), looks to
start down a new road in WSU, as she is no longer able to challenge for the WSU Championship while Mercedes Martinez holds it, due to the match stipulation
when she lost her epic Iron-Woman encounter with Martinez. However, Rain, in a role reversal from earlier this year, has promised Orsini that if Orsini helps
Rain win the WSU Championship, then Rain will be able to give Orsini a WSU Championship match. Rain wants all the gold in WSU and plans on taking over, with
the first checkmark on the list being the WSU Tag Team Titles.
Can Orsini dominate the tag division with Rain as she dominated as WSU champion for 11 months? The road to gold begins on 8/1, when Angel Orsini takes on WSU
Tag Champion Brooke Carter!

"The Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez has been nothing but a true champion, ever since she won the WSU Championship from Angel Orsini in a Bullrope Match
on 3/7/09 at WSU's 2nd Anniversary Show. However, while the chase to the championship was rough and rocky, Martinez is finding that it's very lonely at the
top and will have to defend against all-comers.
After turning down Orsini in a 70 minute Iron-Woman match, Martinez looks to embark onto the next chapter of her WSU career. Martinez will make her first WSU
Title defense since winning the Iron-Woman match on 8/8 at American Championship Entertainment (ACE) Wrestling. Martinez was supposed to make her first
defense after the Ironwoman match on 6/20 at ACE, but due to an injury and a personal situation, Martinez was unable to appear. However, the open challenge
Martinez put out at ACE has been answered, by none other than former WSU Champion Nikki Roxx!
Roxx brought up the fact that she never ever got her WSU championship rematch after losing her championship on 5/31/08 to Angel Orsini. Roxx said that due to
her Uncensored Rumble 2 win, where the winner would be deemed the Number 1 contender to the WSU Championship, she technically she has two title shots coming
to her.
WSU has ruled in Roxx's favor and has signed both matches. WSU management has ruled in Roxx's favor under the condition if Roxx wins the championship on 8/8,
Martinez will get her rematch on 8/22, therefore there is no false advertising and our advertised matches take place. If Martinez retains on 8/8, Roxx will
get her second rematch on 8/22, as the announced & advertised match for 8/22 will take place.
WSU will be giving away the first time ever battle under the WSU banner between these two mega-stars at ACE on 8/8. This will be a main event quality match,
where the result will bring a major impact to WSU.
For those unaware of Roxx's career in WSU, here is a brief run-down:
Nikki Roxx was involved in the WSU title tournament on 7/14/07 to crown the first ever WSU champion. Roxx made it to the finals, but lost to Alicia, in a
match that also included Amy Lee & Luna Vachon. Roxx would go on to be the first ever WSU #1 contender, but lost to Alicia. After losing, Roxx developed a
darker side and seemed to prefer taking the easy way out. Roxx devised a plan at the 2008 King & Queen of the Ring Tournament and entered the tournament
impromptu. Roxx & partner Rhett Titus won the tournament, in a match where then-WSU champion Sunny was special guest referee. Roxx said she wasn't here to
win just the tournament, she wanted the gold and insulted Sunny. Sunny wanted a piece of Roxx, but then-number 1 contender Alexa Thatcher said she was the
number 1 contender and wanted a shot. Since the fans were asking for it, NWS commissioner sanctioned the match and on 3/21/08 Roxx won the WSU Championship
with an assist from co-hort Becky Bayless.
From there, Roxx defended the WSU championship against Alexa Thatcher & Cindy Rogers, both who were co-number 1 contenders for the WSU championship at the
time. WSU, the leader of womens wrestling in the northeast, allows the championship to be defended on outside events, to increase the awareness and prestige
of the championship. Roxx put out an open-challenge on 5/31/08, which Angel Orsini answered. Orsini, coming off a string of rough losses, was able to upset
Roxx and win the championship.
From there, Roxx took a sabbatical from WSU, as she focused her efforts in TNA. Roxx returned to WSU on 6/6, where she entered the Uncensored Rumble 2. The
winner of the match would become number 1 contender. Roxx would lastly eliminate Rain, who ironically defeated Roxx earlier in the night, to win the match
and earn a shot at the championship.
By Roxx's count, Roxx has earned 2 title matches, as she never received her automatic rematch after losing the championship the first time and by virtue of
winning the Uncensored Rumble. Roxx will have two chances to win the belt that she lost over a year ago, when she challenges Mercedes Martinez on 8/8. If
Roxx is unable to win the championship, Roxx will cash in her rematch on 8/22, at WSU's next event. However, if Roxx returns to championship form and defeats
Martinez, Martinez will then cash in her rematch clause on 8/22.
The WSU championship has changed hands 4 times on outside events. Roxx has been a huge part of that, winning the WSU championship on 3/21 and losing it on
5/31 in the year 2008. Roxx will like to get it done one more time in 2009 and lead WSU into 2010 as WSU womens champ.

What is the Spirit Championship? The Spirit Championship will be a championship division focused on all the up and comers in WSU. WSU has noticed the
blossoming and budding talents on our roster. WSU is not like other companies that rely on just big names, as WSU wants to be known for our homegrown stars.
In our short 2+ year history, WSU has seen the rise of many stars, including Miss April, who was recently signed to a WWE contract.
It is with this division we give our wrestlers a chance to compete for gold and name recognition. While the WSU Championship remains the most sought out
championship in womens wrestling, the Spirit division will capture the passion, the desire and the quest of wrestlers looking to ascend to the next level.
There are many future stars in WSU and the goal of this division is to acknowledge the talents, merit and SPIRIT of these wrestlers.
The WSU Championship Committee has determined that SPIRIT Championship matches will feature tomorrow's stars today! It is the goal of WSU to see the WSU
Spirit Championship launch careers to a higher level. With the WSU Spirit Championship, we expect to see WSU stars use this championship as a stepping stone
to the most prestigious and important championship in womens wrestling today - The WSU Championship.
WSU is proud to announce that Amber, Jana, Latasha, Lea Morrison, Roxxie Cotton & Jennifer Cruz have all thrown their names in the hat to make history, and
become the inaugural WSU Spirit Champion.
To crown the first ever WSU Spirit Championship, WSU will be shaking up the traditional 8-person/team tournament format. On 8/14 you will see three first
round matches. The winners of those three matches will then go on to a Triple Threat Elimination match to determine the first ever WSU Spirit Champion.
To make things fresh & exciting, the wrestlers won't know their opponents and a random drawing to determine first round pairings will be held 5 minutes
before belltime!
Here are mini-profiles on each of these candidates to become the first ever WSU Spirit Champion:
AMBER- Amber is a WSU original and was part of WSU's birth. Amber saw moderate success in WSU until taking time off to heal injuries in 2008. However, on
8/14, Amber makes her year long return to WSU and plans on returning with a bang- by winning the WSU Spirit Championship.
JANA- Jana, who once was part of the loveable Soul Sisters tag team, has had a major attitude change ever since turning on her ex-tag team partner Latasha.
Jana has been on the tear in WSU and came close on several occasions of becoming WSU Champion. It is with that spirit and vein that Jana hopes to become the
first ever Spirit Champion.
LATASHA- Ever since being dastardly and violently violated by her ex partner Jana, Latasha has looked to carve her niche in WSU, only to have Jana derail
Latasha's success. Latasha has shown her soul, tears & pride in every match she's had in WSU, and she's looking to show she has the most SPIRIT on 8/14.
LEA MORRISON- Lea Morrison, who just completed a years service in WSU, has had trouble in breaking the mold and ascending to the next level. Not content on
where she was in WSU, Morrison aligned with Kylie Pierce in a relationship that produced Morrison's first win. However, Morrison plans on winning alot more,
but will she have the SPIRIT to do it?
ROXXIE COTTON- Roxxie Cotton, the former 2-time WSU Tag Team Champion is no stranger to WSU gold. Cotton is looking to become the first ever tag & Spirit
Champion when she enters this tournament. After finally ridding herself of Rick Cataldo, this Beatdown Betty plans on showing WSU that she has all the SPIRIT
in the world on 8/14!
JENNIFER CRUZ- Jennifer Cruz, who debuted with WSU in April of 2009, looks to match her spunk and grittiness with her first WSU Championship. Cruz is still
seeking her first win in WSU. Does Cruz have enough Spirit to not only win her first match, but her second match in WSU and become WSU SPIRIT Champion? We'll
find out on 8/14!!!
One thing that can be promised, we will see four highly contested matches in the spirit of competition and survival of the fittest on 8/14. Be there to
witness WSU History!

While the Spirit Championship Tournament might be overwhelming enough, let's not forget about the huge 6-woman tag team match that has been signed for 8/14.
On one side you have all the gold in WSU, as WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez teams up with WSU Tag Champions Brooke Carter & Alicia. On the other side, you
have the longest reigning WSU Champion Angel Orsini teaming with Jessicka Havok & Hailey Hatred.
The Orsini/Martinez feud is like none other in womens wrestling history and is easily a candidate for not only feud of the year, but perhaps the biggest feud
ever in womens wrestling. After brawls, classic technical wrestling, street fights, draws, cage matches, bullrope matches & an epic 70 minute Ironwoman match
that changed the face of womens wrestling, these two have done it all. While Orsini can no longer get a WSU Championship match as a result of the Ironwoman
match, Orsini looks to extract revenge against her long-time rival in this 6-woman tag.
On June 6th, 2009, history was made when the former 2-time WSU Champion & perhaps a WSU Icon, Alicia, returned to the ring. Alicia joined forces with Brooke
Carter and successfully replaced Miss April by defeating Havok & Hatred in a explosive tag team match. Havok & Hatred have asked for a WSU Tag Team
Championship rematch, citing that they didn't know Alicia would be there on 6/6 and now can fully prepare. The WSU Championship Committee has sided with
Havok & Hatred on this issue, but...
Angel Orsini & Rain have been granted a WSU Tag Team Title Match on 8/22. WSU has determined that whoever walks out with the gold on the first taping of
WSU's 8/22 event between Alicia/Carter vs Rain/Orsini will take on Havok/Hatred on the second taping. That makes the chemistry between Orsini & her partners
all that more interesting, as possibly Orsini with Rain, could be taking on her tag team partners in this match just a week later!
Alicia has returned to WSU and is immediately thrown in the crossfire. With perhaps the WSU Rookie of the Year for 2009, Brooke Carter, this new team is
looking to establish their dominance over the WSU Tag Team Division. However it is no secret that Alicia & Carter would also love to add a WSU Championship
to their resume, as both competed in the WSU Uncensored Rumble for a shot at the WSU Championship, just like Havok & Hatred.
You have three champions on one side and three challengers. Everyone of these stars wants gold in WSU. This match perhaps be a huge preview of what's to be
in store for the rest of the calendar year in WSU. There are so many different stories and tales to be told heading into this match, but on 8/14, there will
only be one ending. What team will prove their superiority on 8/14?
