TNA Impact has a new time slot change, as does Ultimate Fighter |
Wrestling Observer - headlines by Dave Meltzer
TNA Impact's move to Thursday night in prime time has been changed.
Jeff Jarrett told the wrestlers at a meeting before today's tapings in Orlando that executives at Spike TV have changed their previously announced decision to put the show in prime time.
In what is actually a better move in reality, but perhaps not in perception, the new time slot starting on 4/13 will be Thursdays at 11 p.m., immediately following the highly-touted Ken Shamrock/Tito Ortiz season of Ultimate Fighter.
The move of TNA was based on a Spike decision to move Ultimate Fighter to 10 p.m. to figure into the prime time ratings. The new Thursday nights on Spike start on 4/6, with a live UFC special at 8 p.m. and the first episode of Ultimate Fighter at 10 p.m.
On 4/13, the line-up will be CSI at 8 p.m., UFC Unleashed at 9 p.m., Ultimate Fighter at 10 p.m. and TNA Impact at 11 p.m., which is the line-up that by far makes the most sense for everyone.
