United Wrestling Federation Announces February shows in Harrisonburg, VA And Fluvanna, VA
 
After a successful debut last week, the United Wrestling Federation has announced its next two shows, February 10th at Harrisonburg High School in Harrisonburg, VA and February 11th at Fluvanna High School in Palmyra, VA.  Tickets are on sale at the Harrisonburg High School (540-433-0450), Harrisonburg Hyundai (800-879-9622) and at Fluvanna High School (434-589-3666 ext. 1410). 
 
The main event for Harrisonburg will feature Team 3-D taking on current NWA Heavyweight champion Jeff Jarrett and former WWE superstar and Harrisonburg, VA native, Maven Huffman.  These shows also include the UWF debut of “The Man Beast” Rhino.  For event and ticket information, visit www.uwfusa.com.

With less than two weeks to go before the NYWC biggest show of the year, the Psycho Circus, some of the participants of this bloody brawl came forth and spoke their minds about the upcoming 5-on-5, no-rules elimination match.   Check http://www.nywcwrestling.com/  for video of Mikey Whipreck and Dickie Rodz.   Commissioner Mikey Whipwreck, who will accompany Mason Raige, Damien Dragon, Joey Braggiol and Mega on January 28, delivered a maniacal speech in front of a sinister backdrop of tables, ladders, chairs and barbed wire.  Of course, in true Mikey fashion, he upped the hardcore ante, insinuating that mousetraps would also play a part in the mayhem, and that NYWC Champion Dickie Rodz would given special treatment during the match, as he set the table behind him ablaze.  Dickie, for his part, was most concerned with his former tag team partner, Mason Raige.  Dickie pulled no punches, explaining his plan to slice Mason open with a cast of barbed wire and prove to everyone that he, and he alone, deserves to be the top dog in the company.  Dickie exuded a great deal of confidence, and promised to make the OVW-bound Mason bleed like a stuck pig.  Will Rodz, along with the Solution and the B.S. Kahagas with Blare Rogers and Amy Vitale defeated Joe Gomez after inteference by The Blackhart but the decision was reversed by VP of Talent and Promotions Casey Thompson which set up a match between Thompson and Blackhart for control of MXPW.
Casey Thompson defeated The Blackhart by DQ when Kahagas intefered and the two of them bloodied the VP of Talent and Promotions.
The Black Market went to a No Contest with Johnny Vandal and Scott Commodity (who was subbing for Tommy Vandal)
Hack Meyers defeated MXPW Champion Chaz by DQ after inteference from Kahagas.

New England Championship Wrestling returns to live event action on Sunday, March 5 with the world premiere of a new women's promotion, World Women's Wrestling (Triple W for short).  Bell time will be 3:00 PM for this event, which takes place at Good Time Emporium, 30 Assembly Square Drive in Somerville, MA.
"Based on the positive response to the women's events we've held in 2005, I felt that a full-fledged women's promotion was the right thing to do for our business," said NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg.   "Women's wrestling is one area where NECW has been the clear leader in the region and this was the next logical step."
"There will still be women's matches on the regular NECW shows, but there will also be a mixed tag team division in WWW, so both companies will operate hand-in-hand with each other," said Goldberg.  There will be a WWW championship introduced in May and a mixed tag team championship will be introduced at a later date.  The status of the NECW Women's Championship is currently "under review" by NECW and WWW officials.
The main event for the WWW premiere will be an NECW Women's Championship match as Violet Flame defends that title in a triple threat elimination match against former champion, Mercedes Martinez and #1 contender, Nikki Roxx.  Other stars including, Ariel, The Diva Killers, "Pryme Tyme" Amy Lee, Tanya Lee, Amber, Missy Sampson, Jade, Alere Little Feather and more will be appearing.  More details on stars and match-ups will be available in the weeks to come.
