UNITED WRESTLING FEDERATION NEWS AND NOTES FOR APRIL 30, 2007
 
- The start time of the UWF LIVE! event on Friday, May 11th at Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, NC has been pushed back to 8:00 p.m. by UWF officials in an attempt to allow fans more time to get to the show after work on Friday.  The Ultimate Experience meet and greet will take place from 6-7 p.m. and belltime will be 8:00 p.m.
 
The Lake Norman show will be headlined by a special tribute to Dusty Rhodes, recently inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Ric Flair, a Charlotte native and resident.
 
Also announced:
Jerry Lynn  v.  Raven
Kishi and D-Lo Brown  v.  Diamonds in the Rough
Steve Corino and CW Anderson  v.  Team Macktion
James Storm/Jackie Moore  v.  Chris Harris/Gail Kim
 
On Saturday, May 12, the UWF will make a return to the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Greensboro, where Sgt. Slaughter will make his UWF debut.

-TNA star Scott Steiner, who has been a regular on UWF events this year, was in Talladega on Friday taking in NASCAR activities with UWF president Hermie Sadler and Sadler's brother Elliott.  Steiner is expected to return to the UWF on June 8, when the promotion will return to Philadelphia's New Alhambra Arena for Hardcore War II.   Although no announcement has been made, it is rumored that Steiner will team again with brother Rick Steiner to take on Team 3-D, the current NWA World Tag Team Champions.
