The final 4 competitors in the EWA Heavyweight title tournament will meet in a fatal 4 way, every man for himself, tag match.  Rules are simply that we will start with two wrestlers, with the other two wrestlers on the outside, much like a tag team match.  With this match though, you can tag anyone you wish.  The men competing in this match are:
Representing CZW:  6'4"  300 lb   DJ Hyde
Representing GBW:  6'2"  Core
From EWA and representing the Christian Academy are:  6'5" 240 pound Eagle  and the Crowl Jewel of the Christian Academy, Champ Champagne.

Will Champagne and Eagle work together as members of the Christian Academy to soften up their opponents for later in the evening or will they see the EWA Heavyweight title as the top prize in this state and forget about any allegiances?   Will DJ Hyde storm through the competition en route to quick victories later in the evening to become the new champion?  Will the "Badass from Berlin" Core let the other 3 destroy each other and coast his way to victory that night in the EWA Arena and take the EWA title back to Ground Breaking Wrestling with him?  The only way to find out is to come out to EWA "FAN APPRECIATION" FREE event at JD Byriders in Glen Burnie on June 24th with a 1pm belltime.

The winners of those 2 matches will meet later in the evening to crown a new EWA Heavyweight Champion.

The theme of this event is "A NEW BEGINNING".  Crowning a new heavyweight champion will start EWA down a new path.  With every new beginning, there also comes an end.  This night will bring an end to a long brewing feud in Eastern Wrestling Alliance.

FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS COLLIDE

XTreme Pandemonium were bound for EWA Tag Team gold in 2005 when injuries and some say jealousy broke the tag team up.  After months of attacks by both members, we will finally end this feud between two men who at times seemed like brothers.  Apollo Cruz vs Buster Maccabi will take place on June 24th to end this feud once and for all.

Bruce Chan has petitioned the EWA offices for a title shot.  With Bruce being knocked out of the heavyweight title tournament decisively by DJ Hyde, the EWA office has decided to grant him a tag team title shot vs EWA Champions THE CLUB.  Bruce Chan has until the end of this week to find a partner or else he will forfeit his title opportunity.

Eastern Wrestling Alliance and The Bruiser have ran into some problems with the Maryland State Athletic Commission after Bruisers actions last month.  Bruiser stormed through the front door of the EWA Arena, manhandled security and laid claim as the true measuring stick in Maryland wrestling and voiced his displeasure with not being granted a slot in the EWA Heavyweight Title tournament.  EWA was trying to work with Bruiser to come to an official agreement, but the MSAC is upset with Bruiser getting too close to the crowd at ringside and has suggested suspending him for a month.  Bruiser has stated that he will be in attendance as 'a fan' at the FREE EWA event and has even gone so far as to purchase a ticket to the night show at the EWA Arena, just in case the MSAC wont let him wrestle.
