Ford Field To Host WrestleMania 23 In April ’07
By Don Muret, Staff Writer, SportsBusiness Journal Ford Field in Detroit will play host to WrestleMania 23 on April 1, 2007, as World Wrestling Entertainment returns to the market 20 years after the event attracted the largest crowd in WrestleMania history, said WWE Senior VP Bob Collins. … According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com who just informed me that Jim Ross will be calling the Raw matches at WrestleMania XXII, for which we are all very happy.
With that taking place, Jerry Lawler is now slated to MC the Hall of Fame ceremony.
