Two Staten Island police officers will go head-to-head Thursday night during Rumble for the Blue, benefiting NYPD-linked charities.
Police Officer Chris Payne of the 123rd Precinct and Officer Chris Romano of the 122nd Precinct will headline the event in a South Shore-vs.-Mid-Island matchup.
The wrestling event will raise money for Blue Lives Matter, Brotherhood of the Fallen, C.A.R.E.S. Cops for Autism, the NYPD boxing team and the family of Detective Miosotis Familia, who was killed in the line of duty in the Bronx on July 5.
Rumble for the Blue will take place at 1435 Travis Ave. General admission tickets are $20. Third and fourth row seats cost $30, while first and second row seats cost $40.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with wrestling starting at 7 p.m.
Staten Islander Briana Ryan, a recent graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, will sing the national anthem to kick off the evening.
