We just finished all the tracks for our impending album. I don't pat myself on the back too often, but IT SO ROCKS!!!! I can't wait to unleash it to the masses. Rachel still has to mix it and it still has to mastered and stuff, but soon! So Matt Roberts came back in town to shoot the band on one of our last days in the studio. We got a bunch of good stuff and I'm sure you will see more of that around. Our friend Evan Bartleson from the band Black Daniels came in on the last night and documented us laying down the final tracks. We had some friends come into the studio to help yell on some gang vocal stuff. Stacey6, bass player and back up screamer for Damage Report came in and yelled for us, as well a long time friend of the band Eric Snoddy. You guys might remember him from my book as 'Noodlehead', or maybe not. Our friend Melissa was being shy at first, but had a blast yelling along to The Luchagors. It was a great end to a great recording session. Well, we had fun, Rachel was having a hard time with us bein all crazy and social, but that's what he holds the whip for! We are all really proud of this and even the guys, who have all been in bands their whole adult lives have really pushed ourselves to make this record something really special.
"Wrestling With His Softer Side" by Marilyn Beck & Stacy Jenel Smith
"Former pro wrestler Bill Goldberg shows he's more than just a bundle of intimidation as "Bullrun", Spike TV's car rally across America, runs it's course. "1 of the reasons they brought me on board was to bring a little edge to it. My personality tends to be inflamed if presented with adversarial people & situations. I don't take anything from anybody," says the very large Goldberg, who helped keep things smooth among the 12 two driver teams who used
their own cars to compete. "I was very fortunate that some, if not all, of the
contestants were fans of mine & it's always an honor to be involved with people like that. 1 of the contestants had my tattoo, for God's sakes." Although Goldberg does get tough at times, the car enthusiast tells "This
Just In" that viewers will see his softer side, especially since his wife & son were traveling with him. "I think there's a passionate side that people haven't seen before & there's a compassionate side & a sensitive side," he admits. "We had things go wrong & some people in some bad situations, both in the race & outside of it, & I'm human like everybody else".

NWS Double-Shot Next Weekend In Bergen County, New Jersey on March 23-24 With Captain Lou Albano & Brother Runt
Sitting around watching the snow fall and wondering why you're watching the wrestling on TV? Maybe the promoters at National Wrestling Superstars have made a deal with the Weather Gods (since they gave their crew the weekend off to celebrate St. Patrick's Day) and next week will bring a bit of luck to all of the wrestling fans lucky enough to already have their tickets for two spectacular events as NWS travels to the Northern part of the great state of New Jersey next weekend with not one, but two great events.
Friday night March 23, NWS kicks off the weekend in Park Ridge, NJ, at the Park Ridge Elks Lodge, 13 Sulak Lane, with a 7:45pm bell time. And what a way to start the weekend, with legendary WWE Hall Of Fame manager Captain Lou Albano leading his team of "Americas Hero" The Patriot & NWS Regional Heavyweight Champion "The Dark Patriot" Hasheem Ali, in a grudge match against The Baghdad Bullies, evil T.N.T & Saddam Insane and their manager King Ran-sid Akhbar Idu Stinq. Plus NWS Tag-Team Champions The Psychadelic Sissies (make sure you call them "Studs"), NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "G.Q." Gavin Quest, and local standouts Joe Hardway and The Dublin Destroyers.
Saturday night March 24, NWS brings the show to Ridgefield Park, NJ, at the Knights Of Columbus Hall, 106 Bergen Avenue, with a 7:35pm bell time. And the show's main event will be (literally) smashing, as TNA star "Brother Runt" (a.k.a. former ECW star Spike Dudley) Matt Hyson takes on local bad boy and hardcore icon "Low Life" Louis Ramos in a Two-Out-Of-Three-Falls Ridgefield Park Tables Match. Also seeing action that night will be NWS Regional Heavyweight Champion "The Dark Patriot" Hasheem Ali, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "G.Q." Gavin Quest, local standouts Antonio Rivera and Joe Hardway, and other wrestling stars. Tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors (plus discounts if you attend both events) and can be purchased by calling 1-732-888-1704, or online at www.doubleplaytixx.com.
NWS Returns To Manahawkin On 4/7 With Big Slam Vader & The Equalizer
If you want to add some excitement to your Easter or Passover vacation, come on out to the Manahawkin Elks Lodge (520 Hilliard Boulvard, just off Route 9) on Saturday night April 7th, and enjoy a night of National Wrestling Superstars pro wrestling action, with a 7:35pm bell time.
After a long hiatus, Little Egg Harbor's Green Dragon will be returning to the ring, along with Lacey Township's own imitable referee Just Johnny (who we hope will call the matches fairly). Also appearing will be Forked River's Rhett Titus, who is a rising star not only for NWS, but Ring Of Honor and other wrestling promotions. Japan's Giant Kaibutzi and J.D. Smooth add to the list of stars coming to Manahawkin. And no NWS show on the Jersey Shore would be complete without Barnegat native and former ECW brawler The Equalizer making his presence felt to anyone getting in his way.
For the main event, NWS will be re-defining "super-heavyweight", as nearly half a ton of beef in the form of the tag-team of "Mass Destruction" Dave Duncan and his partner, none other than BIG SLAM VADER, will be challenging NWS Tag-Team Champions The Sychadelic Sissies (who will, as always, demand to be called "Studs", but they may be flattened into "Slabs" before the night is through). Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for children and seniors, and can be purchased by phone at 732-888-1704, or online at www.doubleplaytixx.com.
