Bruno Classic 10 fig, Traci Brooks, ECW, The Rock, RVD, DDP, Stacy, Jericho, Flair, Owen Hart and more…

Still under the weather, probably going to the doctor tomorrow.  Spring and summer colds are the worst.

Just put up another Bruno Sammartino Classic 10 figure starting at only $9.99 on eBay.
Also I spoke to Bruno the other day and he told me that JAKKS called him and ran by him the idea of a Killer Kowalski/Bruno Sammartino set.  Bruno said he was pleased, as he always felt Kowalski was a worthy opponent.

Happy Birthday to Traci Brooks tomorrow May 22nd  (real name is Tracy Brookshaw)

According to Dave Meltzer of Observer, a press release is expected on Tuesday that will confirm previous reports of a deal between WWE and the Sci-Fi Network for an ECW time slot. Meltzer is also reporting that ECW will air on Tuesday nights, either live or on tape delay. ECW will be taped Tuesday nights at the Smackdown TV tapings.

Thanks to Bob for this link to photo's of The Rock at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival - "The Southland Tales" Photo call  5/21/06 Palais Des Festival in Cannes, France.  Item Listing
At www.hollywoodreporter.com there is a review of "The Southland Tales," Rock's latest movie. Another brutal review.  Direct link:  Southland Tales  The beginning of article:  Deep into Richard Kelly's miasmic 160-minute fantasy "Southland Tales," an actor who used to call himself "The Rock" places a gun at his temple and says, "I could pull the trigger right now and this whole nightmare will be over," and every impulse screams: "Do it!"
It comes too late, however, as the will to live is lost in the first reel when ex-Rock Dwayne Johnson, playing a $20-million-a-film movie star, tells of an infant that has not had a bowel movement in six days and warns that a thermonuclear baby fart could blow up the world.

Sounds to me like wrestlers should stay in the wrestling business instead of trying to be Hollywood movie stars.  None of them have made any serious money for the Film Makers.

I was just browsing InDemand's website and found the below caption to be of interest.
"Rob Van Dam returns to ECW to cash in his “Money in the Bank” title shot, but will he cash in on the WWE Championship? See what happens when the action gets extreme, at ECW’s One Night Stand, Sunday, June 11th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, live and only on Pay-Per-View. Go to ECW.com for more details."
This confirms the rumors of RVD cashing in at the PPV, but does this mean we may see RVD vs Mysterio at ONS?!?

Diamond Dallas Page's my space page is a fraud.
I just checked it out and saw it has already been taken down.

This was sent out by his webmaster Rich:
It has been reported on several wrestling news websites that Diamond Dallas Page has joined the MySpace community and created a MySpace web page at http://www.myspace.com/diamonddallaspageonthenet. Unfortunately, this is incorrect and the MySpace web page has been created by an imposter who is fraudulently using Page's identity. We do not know if this is just the work of a well-meaning fan, a prank, or someone legitimately trying to impersonate Page, but we want to warn the Internet community of this problem as we work with MySpace.com to resolve this issue. We have looked at the site and it appears to be designed to give the impression that the owner is Page and uses a lot of content from his official website, DiamondDallasPage.com. This site is not sanctioned, endorsed, or supported by Page and we want to warn any of his fans who are on MySpace.com not to be taken in by this fraudulent. If the owner of this MySpace.com page should read this message, I hope he will contact us so we can clear up this matter.
Thank you,  Rich (aka RichInKC)  DiamondDallasPage.com Webmaster

Stacy Keibler was asked about making a possible return to WWE on "The Loose Cannons" on AM 570 in Los Angeles with Joe McDonnell. Stacy made it perfectly clear that she's not returning. Stacy said, "They hadn't written anything for me before 'Stars', so why should I think they'll do it now? I don't see myself going back. Financially, we have to pay for most of our stuff, so it's a really tough existence. It's time for a new chapter in my life."
