World Wrestling Entertainment Inc’s subscription-video-on-demand service announced carriage deals with six cable operators Tuesday.

WWE 24/7 is now being carried by: Armstrong Cable Services Inc. in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Maryland; Buckeye Cable System in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan; Patriot Media & Communications in New Jersey; Astound Broadband in St. Cloud, Minn., and Concord/Walnut Creek, Calif.; BendBroadband in central Oregon; and SIGECOM LLC in southern Indiana.

“The power of WWE 24/7 to draw consumers to the on-demand platform has been noted by satellite and telco companies, as witnessed by our recent contract with Verizon [Communications Inc.],” WWE vice president of affiliate sales Peter Clifford said in a prepared statement.

“The international marketplace is also taking notice, and we will soon be providing WWE 24/7 to consumers outside of North America,” he added.

NEWS ALERT - WWE 24/7 continues to expand from coast-to-coast across the United States.  World Wrestling Entertainment today released the names of six more cable systems that are offering WWE 24/7 to their consumers, including Armstrong®, the eighteenth largest multiple system operator (MSO) in the country.

WWE 24/7 can now be found in 22 states and Canada.  Nineteen of those states are in the top 50 DMA.

 “All of the cable systems that are offering WWE 24/7 have told us that customer reaction to the service has been well beyond their expectations,” said Peter Clifford, Vice President, WWE Affiliate Sales.  “The power of WWE 24/7 to draw consumers to the On-Demand platform has been noted by satellite and telco companies, as witnessed by our recent contract with Verizon.  The international marketplace also is taking notice, and we will soon be providing WWE 24/7 to consumers outside North America.”
