1) Highlanders beat Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey) in
a non-title match with the double team reverse
slingshot suplex after the other 3 members were
ejected from ringside.

After the match Umaga came down the aisle and took out
the Highlanders on his way to the ring and gave Mikey
the Samoan spike in the ring. Estrada did his usual
deal and talked about Kane which led to

2) Kane beat Umaga via dq when Estrada hit Kane in the
back with a chair.

3) Carlito beat Rob Conway with the back cracker

4) Oleg Prudius beat Eugene with a torture rack and
then dropping down to his knees and getting the pin.
Prudius then got on the mic and said something about
being able to beat any American, which led to

5) Prudius beat Jim Duggan with a rear naked choke.
Prudius did very little in both short matches, and
what he did looked terrible. He also used the same
entrance music as another WWE foreign heel from years
ago, but I couldn't place it. His promo was similar to
Khali in that no one could understand him.

6) Lita pinned Torrie Wilson to the retain the women's
championship after a DDT. Short and sloppy.

Jimmy Hart came out before intermission to announce a
Smackdown/ECW taping on January 2nd in Lakeland.

7) Johnny Nitro pinned Jeff Hardy with his feet on the
ropes to retain the IC title.

8) Super Crazy pinned Chris Masters with a roll-up.

Howard Finkel had announced earlier in the show that
Vince had ordered DX to run the gauntlet tonight with
2 tag matches.

Prior to the match Kanyon was in the front row and
held up two signs, one read "Hey HHH ask Vince why I
was really fired" and the other said "HBK pray for my
gay soul." HHH then got on the mic and said "Who
better than Kanyon" and then said "Now that the
independent portion of our show is over" as Kanyon
left and went into his Michael Buffer imitation.

9) DX beat Viscera and Charlie Haas when HHH gave Haas
a pedigree and Michaels gave Viscera sweet chin music,
which made Viscera fall on top of Haas face down and
HHH sat on both of them for the pin.

10) DX beat Cade and Murdoch with the pedigree on one
and sweet chin music on the other. Both matches were
fairly short with Michaels selling and HHH coming in
with the hot tag.

After the match Sean Waltman came into the ring and
joined HHH and Michaels in doing crotch chops. While
they were in the ring HHH spotted a guy in the crowd
dressed up like a barbarian like HHH's entrance at
Mania and invited the guy in the ring. HHH then gave
him a bottle of water and the guy did his water
spitting imitation.

11) Edge pinned Cena to retain the WWE title in a no
holds barred match. Late in the match there was a ref
bump and then Edge tapped to the STFU but no ref. Lita
came into the ring and was given an FU. Shorty after
this Edge won after a belt shot. After the match Edge
climbed half-way up a ladder he had brought in earlier
and jumped but Cena caught him and gave him an FU to
send the crowd home happy.

Good show overall with a hot crowd. Cena was the most
popular with many young kids and women screaming for
him. Next was DX, a close 2nd, followed by Hardy and
Carlito. Edge got the most heel heat but also had a
decent amount of people cheering for him. I would say
more than half of the people with wrestling shirts on
were DX, with most of the other half being Cena.
