Baltimore, MD August 11, 2009 - The Long Beach Comic Con (LBCC), coming to the Long Beach Convention Center this October 2-4, 2009, today announced an exclusive offers to convention attendees from Jakks Pacific.  The convention floor is filling up fast with the addition of Top Cow, which will provide an exclusive book and Boom! Studios featuring Mark Waid.  Additionally, Hero’s Initiative is hosting a benefit featuring Kirby Krackle.  The inaugural year of Long Beach Comic Con promises to be memorable for fans, dealers and exhibitors.

Fans of the WWE will want to make sure to get one of the 100 exclusive Rey Mysterio collectables provided to Long Beach Comic Con by Jakks Pacific.  The exclusive will go on-sale at www.longbeachcomiccon.com on August 15 and is available to convention attendees only.

Top Cow Productions will be providing a convention exclusive book for Long Beach from one of their many successful titles.  In addition to providing the incentive book, the Top Cow booth will be crowded with top talent; artist scheduled to appear include Eric Basaldua, Rick Basaldua, Michael Broussard, Sheldon Mitchell, Ryan Winn, and Nelson Blake II.

BOOM! Studios, celebrating their fourth anniversary as a unique publishing house specializing in high-profile projects, will be showing off their latest titles from Philip K. Dick, The Henson Company, Mark Waid as well as titles from the recently launched BOOM! Kids.

Hero’s Initiative will host Kirby Krackle, the world’s first Comic Book Rock Band, at a benefit party to support the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
