Carlito Caribbean Cool

I really love this figure, Jakks added a velvet like cloth to the hair mold which makes it feel really, dare I say “cool”. The facial expression is perfect for Carlito, they caught him mid-way through chewing his trademark apple. Jakks nailed the purple shorts when it comes to accuracy, he has the “CCC” on each side in yellow, red and silver. I’m a big fan of the Hawaiian shirt, but I think it should have been cloth. I believe there will be a release of Carlito with the cloth shirt instead. Carlito comes with his trademark apple, with a pretty big chunk taken out of it. The only thing that brings the figure down other than the shirt is the lack of kneepads.

Overall grade A+

The Big Show

This is actually a reuse of the CS 7 Andre body, but Andre is taller. Even though this figure lacks the singlet and kneepads, I really like it. One reason is the tattoos are done beautifully, the second being that he is actually taller than everyone else. I really like the bald scan with the molded on facial hair. The only thing I’d suggest is using some Jakks knee pads and adding the CS 5 Bundy singlet. Definitely a great figure to buy.

Christian

Another nicely done figure, I like the way Jakks split the pants in half, one side is silvery red and the back is black. I don’t know how accurate they are, but they certainly do look good. The head on Captain Charisma looks great, especially the hair, Jakks mixed some orange into the hair to give it Christian’s color. The downfall is the simplicity, I would have loved to see him come with a hooded jacket like he wears.

Overall grade: A

Gene Snitsky

Wow. This is my favorite figure in the set, and possibly one of the best figures I’ve seen. The headscan is perfect for Snitsky. Jakks even added the braided goatee he has, not to mention it’s made of soft plastic unlike the RA 13 Tomko’s. Snitsky also has a tattoo on his neck that I never even knew he had. It goes all the way up and continues underneath the head. Jakks even gave him the short boots and painted on socks, which he wears. In all honesty, there is nothing wrong with this figure, at all.

Overall grade: A+

Mark Jindrak

His first and possibly last figure. The headscan is awesome. The tights are dead-on, the MJ logo on the front of the tights looks perfect. On the back of the tights it has “MARK JINDRAK” which looks perfect. The parts choice by Jakks is a very good one too the low boots work well for Jindrak. I really like the color choice by Jakks, the light green and pink tend to make this figure stand apart from the other figures in previous sets.

Overall grade: A+

The Coach

Probably the most underrated figure in the set next to Jindrak. I really like the figure, Jakks used the new shorts mold on Coach which I hope to see on some John Cena figures. The shirt on Coach is very bland, but I guess it’s alright for something Jakks just made up. The shorts have a white vertical stripe down the sides, the kneepads actually fit underneath the shorts as you will see in the pictures. Although it’s plain, I think it turned out alright for someone who was added at after the set was announced.

Overall grade: B
