NWA WRESTLING LEGENDS FANFEST WEEKEND UPDATE

Good morning, folks!
I'd like to wish all of you a very happy and safe Memorial Day! Please take time to remember our troops and fallen soldiers. We owe them our gratitude and our prayers.
One of the greatest female grapplers of all time, Judy Martin, is our next-announced featured legend for this summer's NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend in Charlotte, August 6-9, at the Hilton University Place Hotel.
A South Carolina native trained by the Fabulous Moolah, Martin is best remembered as one-half of The Glamour Girls, multiple-time WWF Womens' World Tag Team champions partnering with Leilani Kai and managed by Jimmy Hart.
I'm also happy to announce former wrestler and longtime Tennessee promoter, Jerry Jarrett, and the strategic leader of the famed Four Horsemen, James J. Dillon, have been confirmed, as well.

Dillon, "The Fantastics" Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers, Don Fargo, Jackie Fargo, Jimmy Hart, Jerry Jarrett, Mark Lewin, Rich Landrum, Bugsy McGraw, Magnum TA, Judy Martin, Angelo Mosca, Angelo Mosca Jr., Blackjack Mulligan, Harley Race, Billy Robinson, Lance Russell, and Bill Watts will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Our 2009 NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend, highlighted by the third annual Hall of Heroes dinner banquet and awards ceremony hosted by Jim Cornette, takes place Thursday through Sunday, August 6-9, 2009 at the Hilton University Place hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fanfest Weekend is a wonderful experience for a lot of people, and this is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relive childhood memories -- and create some new ones -- and join other folks from all over the world, all coming together in Charlotte for our remarkable weekend - three huge days and four nights celebrating wrestling tradition.
Very popular is an exhibit area with vendors offering any and every type wrestling memorabilia you can imagine. Some vendors will have "booth guests" offering additional autograph and photo opportunities.

Classic ringside photos from the "Sunshine State" of Florida, covering the ring wars from NWA, CWF and WCW, will be offered for the first time ever at fanfest. Duane's great photography has been seen in PWI and it's sister publications since the 1970s.
