A FAN’s OPINION ON THE NEW NETWORK FOR SMACKDOWN

…..

Well, my fears about this possible move of Smackdown to MyNetworkTV has
been realized.  I live in Lexington, KY.  Our cable company, Insight
USED to carry what is now MyNetworkTV,  WBLU, but does NOT anymore.  So,
as of Sept, 2008, I, along with other wrestling fans in Lexington will
not be able to see Smackdown.

I am sure other cities/towns are affected also. The reason I am upset is
because WWE on a rare occasion comes to LExington's famous Rupp Arena
for house shows or Raw/SD tapings.  Lexington, KY is still a viable
market for WWE to come to.  We did host Backlash 2006, mind you.

I know they had to make a deal with what was best for their company, but
I will say this: I think it is going to be ALOT to ask WWE fans in
Lexington, KY  to come to Rupp Arena for a WWE show, say it is a
Smackdown house show when they can't even see those wrestlers on their
own TV!!!   Heck, it is going to be ALOT to ask WWE fans in LExington,
KY to come to a WWE show when in their own viewing area, they can only
see half the roster!!

I mean, a town like Paducah gets to see Smackdown since they have this
rather obscure network, and , of course, Louisville gets to see
Smackdown, but not Lexington?
I bet even Cincinnati, OH is gonna get to see it also.  Well, that is
not right.

I just hope WWE doesn't attempt to bring their show to Lexington.

Just very disappointed I won't get to see my favorite WWE Smackdown
Super Stars like Edge and the Undertaker anymore.

Thanks WWE.

From someone who may not watch anymore.

Sincerely,
Terri Bey
Lexington, KY
