Here in New York, back on November 30th, radio station 92.3 Free FM had an interview in their afternoon drive slot with Kane, promoting the release and subsequent autograph signing of the "See No Evil" DVD. I was able to check it out on the website's podcasts, and here is a summary of that interview, conducted by radio personalities Leslie "The Radiochick" Gold, and her sidekicks, Butchy, Chuck, & JC.

As Kane walked in to the studio, comments are made as to how big he is. The Radiochick thinks that Kane may be the biggest man that she has ever seen.

Chick questions the information given to her on Kane stating Kane is 400 pounds. Kane says that is the scenario of the character in the movie, and for real, he's close to 320. Kane takes "slight offense" to the query that Chick thought he put on 80 pounds for the movie role.

Kane mentions that he realizes the importance of "See No Evil" being the first WWE produced movie. He being chosen as the first star of a WWE movie was kind of simple to ascertain, being that the Kane character is the WWE version of a movie monster, and with the popularity that is rampant within the horror movie genre, the choice was relatively easy.

Kane is asked if other wrestlers are jealous of him being the first star of a WWE produced movie. Kane denies it, saying not many people get jealous of him, for obvious reasons.
One of Chick's sidekicks, Butchie, calls Kane a "frankenstein", which leads Kane to get "slightly miffed". The other personalities quickly rally to shut up Butchie, for simple fear of the Big Red Machine.

Chick asked how the storyline came about where Kane took his mask off. Kane replied that it kind of "just happened." He believes he is scarier now, without the mask.

Kane comments on the amount of times he's worked with fire, being in the first inferno match, nearly setting himself on fire if he lost a match, setting Jim Ross on fire. Chick asked why he set Jim Ross on fire. Kane said it was for laughs, and to help Ross promote his barbeque sauce.

Kane was asked about his previous character, Dr. Isaac Yankem, D.D.S. Quickly told to move on to another question by the Big Red Machine.

Chick asks how a character could be junked. Kane sounds a touch pensive while answering this question, but says its primarily from audience reaction.

Chick mentions how they recently interviewed Kurt Angle. She asks Kane about Angle's jump to TNA. Kane says no comment about it, and whatever is best for Angle. He claims he did not know Angle very well outside of a working relationship. He then re-itierates how he is not friendly with very many people whatsoever backstage.

A caller asks Kane if he rides motorcycles. Kane replies that his brother, the Undertaker, is the one who rides the bikes.

A caller asks if Kane was the second Undertaker back in the day when Ted DiBiase brought in the imposter Undertaker. Kane said no.

Kane is asked about his storyline involving Lita. He says it was his favorite. Mentions marrying Lita under duress, Lita carrying his child, and then eventually turning on him. Chick asks Kane about his relationship with Lita currently. Kane mentions how she is gone from the company, but also states it is not because of him that Lita is gone.

Chuck asks how much Kane would accept to hurt someone real bad. Kane says it depends on who it is, and that he may have a discount rate. Definite comedic moment out of the Big Red Monster.

Kane disparages the rumour and the trait that "wrasslers" are muscled up idiots, mentioning how he himself has a college education.

The crew recaps Kane's injury resume. He claims his worst were some cuts on his head, and concussions. He has also broke his hand, tore a bicep tendon, had knee problems, and threw his back out on two separate occasions.

The crew ask Kane that, at 39 years of age, how much longer will he do this? Kane mentions that the wrestlers keep themselves in the best of shape to counteract the effects of age, and that he doesn't see him quitting any time soon.

He compares his situation to that of Chris Benoit, who at a similar age, is in as good, if not better shape. He mentions how Benoit's intensity in the gym even scares Kane, to a degree.

Chick asks if Kane feels he's been overworked, as it was a primary theme of the previous Kurt Angle interview. Kane says the biggest grind is the travel. The fan interaction is never an issue, and is the best possible scenario, but the daily grind of being on the road takes its toll.

Kane is asked if more movies are in his future. Kane says no, he is WWE first and foremost. Kane denies the notion that WWE wrestlers get in to the business to segue to the movies.

The crew ask if the acting experience was an enjoyable one. Kane says it was, but he missed the adrenaline rush of performing in front of the fans. The repitition of acting a scene also wore thin on him.

Kane talks about Jacob Goodnight, and his collection of eyeballs. The crew gets themselves in a pickle again when they believe Jacob "scratches people's eyes out." Kane quickly corrects them as to Jacob's methods.

A caller asks if Kane has a difficulty performing his character as a fan-favorite. Kane disagrees, saying that he being a fan favorite is a testament to society's love of the anti-hero. Compares his character's reactions to that of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Kane thinks that he doesn't get much backlash from the fans about what he does to people because he does it "to the right people."

Leslie finishes the interview by asking if Kane ever fantasizes about doing something evil to Vince McMahon. Kane replies without another sound.
