AL SNOW SPEAKS ON HIS RELEASE AND THE END OF WWE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH OVW IN HIS FIRST POST-WWE INTERVIEW
By WorldWrestingInsanity.com

Grab your heads and wave 'em high.  ClubWWI.com is proud to welcome the one and only Al Snow to the site for a 59 minute uncut shoot interview -- his first since being released by WWE..

Al discusses a ton of topics, but the one on most people's minds is the end of World Wrestling Entertainment's relationship with developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling.  A huge part of OVW, Snow found himself released in the fallout.  James Guttman started things off by asked about his WWE departure.

"Things are going great and I'm, uh, I've got a lot of different things going on…Trying to get out there again in to the Independent world and start wrestling more often.  I was so devoted to OVW and such schedule wise that it was very difficult for me to get away.  Now I'm free to take advantage of any opportunities that come up.  I'm very excited."

James says that it's a common theme with many newly released WWE stars that spent a great deal of time there.  On one hand, it's not good to leave.  On the other, they're excited because now they can pursue things they couldn't before.

"WWE is a fantastic company to work for a wonderful place to do business with and you know with the training and all my responsibilities in OVW, I just didn't have a chance to take advantage of things.  Now I'm looking forward to it. "

Guttman then asked if he was surprised by WWE's decision to shut down OVW or if it was something he saw coming.  Al said it was both.  However, all good things come to an end and that was the case with Ohio Valley Wrestling's connection to WWE.  He goes into more detail on this topic and many others.

Al Snow's full uncut ClubWWI.com shoot interview - his first since leaving WWE - lasted for 59 minutes and included talk of: The Original Gimmick He Pitched Before "Head Cheese," The Truth Behind Why He Calls Trainees His "Kids," What Mick Foley Threatened To Do To "Head," The Birth of the Head Gimmick, Why Paul Heyman Hated It, Working WWF and ECW At Once, His First ECW Match With Chris Benoit, Where He Was When He Found Wal-Mart Pulling His Action Figures, His Pick For Wrestling's "Greatest Worker In The Business Ever," and More.
