AN APOLOGY LETTER FROM KONNAN TO LOTR

This is an apology from me to James Soubasis the co-promoter of the LOTR convention. Georgiann Makropoulos, who helped the fund drive for the monies given to me for my kidney operation and got me in touch with Mr. Soubasis and any fan who felt slighted by my cancelation of said event. This is a business where word gets around fast, I am not known for missing shows or autograph signings or showing up in an unprofessional state, that being said, I as you was a victim of circumstances.
When I originally agreed to do the show, Triple A (the company I work for in Mexico) was about to start an angle that we did not think would explode like it did, fortunately for us, as a company it received incredible media coverage and we had to strike while the iron was hot. I had to be in Mexico for a TV taping because it was our final taping before the big show, the next week. As much as I tried to rearrange things so I could do both, and as much as I tried to convice Management to let me go. I was needed in Mexico where I wrestle full time instead of the convention which is 2 or 3 times a year project.
Most of you are aware of the plight of an independent wrestler, with no health benefits, etc. and TNA's reluctance to help me.

Thanks to you the fans, you helped me with my operations, but between dialysis, pre-op and post-op meds, the two operations (hip and kidney), rehabilitation and anti rejection meds that I have to take for the rest of my life and monthly hospital visits, I still have a lot of debts. I am eternally grateful to Georgie and Anthony and all the fans especially in the Northeast who came through when my own industry didn't.
I just thought you deserved an explanation, as the fans always get abused with no explanation most of the time. I am sorry and will be there bright and early for the Convention in May, no matter what.

I would very much like to help Konnan to try to keep him from getting forclosed on his home. I would like to ask the fans once again to help, although I know times are very hard for everyone. I will speak to Anthony to see if we can set up a fund again like we did before for his operation.
