An Apology to Oshkosh

I was supposed to be in Oshkosh, WI on Saturday night for a WWE live event, and I didn't make it because of the snowstorm that covered the midwest. At the end of the day, it was me that wasn't there. For that, I take responsibility, and I truly feel bad.

I would like to explain the circumstances. It started snowing in Louisville on Friday night, so I called the airline both Friday night and Saturday morning. Both times they expected the flight to go off as planned. It was a 10:20 am flight, and at 10:25 am, they cancelled the flight. Now, the night before I thought, I have a four wheel drive SUV, and if for some reason my flight is cancelled, I can drive the 500 miles to Oshkosh. But on the way to the airport, the snow was so bad, that people were abandoning their cars on the highway. Not on the shoulder, ON the highway. The same storm that hit Louisville dumped more snow on Colombus than any storm in history. Ever.  There was a state of emergency in southern Indiana, and there was Thundersnow in Kentucky, whatever the heck that is. So I wait in the airport for another flight, and a plane skids off the runway. All I could think was, if I die on my way to Oshkosh, who is gonna take the belt from Beth Phoenix?

But seriously, I apologize to anyone who went to Oshkosh to see Victoria. I made it t Dubuque tonight, and I will be in Chicago for Smackdown on Tuesday. And most importantly, I will return to the Cheesehead Nation.
