Hi Georgie:

I attended today's show in Carteret and had a very enjoyable experience.  First of all, you cannot show up for these things at 11:00 or 12:30 or later.  Fans should know that by now.

I arrived at 8:30 a.m. and there were at least 10 people already there.  The doors opened just before 10:00 a.m.  It did take a few minutes to purchase tickets but if you had pre-purchased the Golden Ticket, you could get right in.  Since Mombo does not offer a numbering system (which I wish he would), I went right to the main line, for which I was within the first 15 or so on line.  My place being secured, and knowing the session would not start until at least 11:30, I made my way around the floor, met Godfather and Missy.

The session started right before 12:00 p.m.  It did move a little on the slower side, but this was not Mombo's fault.  It was solely because you have a lot of talent signing autographs, sometimes multiple multiple items, taking pictures, some Polaroid's (and then signing the Polaroid's), some with your own camera, some of the talent would stand for the pictures, which took more time, etc.  Ten or eleven wrestlers will take time to get through the panel.  That's why you arrive early and get a good place on line.

After the main panel, I met the ref's , who were awesome and very happy to be there.  I also got a few items signed by Pedro, who always rocks, as well as pictures with and 8x10's of Kim Page (who looked amazing), Jackie and Ariel.  Unfortunately my Polaroid with Kim did not come out well at all, but that's my fault for not making sure it came out until well after I left the show.  And I missed Dan Spivey, who had apparently left before I got to his section.

I also met John Valiant, who's handler ran a great table for his pictures.

I concede the room was not the greatest choice for handling so many people.  The line looked to be very large and people were still waiting outside in the hot sun at 1:30 when I left.  I did not see any police.  The room was packed with customers, vendor tables and it did get a little hot in the room.

That being said, Mombo put together a very enjoyable experience.  He had an abundance of talent, plenty of vendors selling merchandise and plenty of vendors bringing in other talent.  The complaints that Mombo brought in too many wrestlers for the show is ludicrous-  he gets complaints for providing too much bang for your buck?  He had like 10 or 11 wrestlers, including rare guys like Sid and Mil Mascaras, offering signed items (an 8x10 or your own) and a picture with them, for only $ 135.00.  And this brings complaints?

If people had just shown up early, they would have been okay.  People should know this by now.

Mombo, thanks.  I appreciate what you did and enjoyed the show a lot.  I will continue to support Wrestling Reunion- I feel that they do care about their fans and take care of them.  I have a lot of pictures with and 8x10s of about 15 additional people that I have not met until today.
From....  Mike from NYC.

I truly don't think they expected the abundance of fans who attended.  The ad in the Daily News, I believe, bought in at least another 200 extra fans.  I think everyone agrees, the venue should have been larger and air conditioned.
