Another Big Name Added To National Wrestling Superstars

"Super-Brawl Bowl" This Weekend 2/1-2/2

As readers of this wrestling site already know, National Wrestling Superstars is running yet another double-shot weekend to kick off February 2008. Already announced to headline both events on Friday (in Middletown, NJ) and Saturday (in Edison, NJ) was former WWE star George The Animal Steele. As you can see below, both nights will feature some of the top stars on the pro circuit today. But just announced, in conjunction with 3-Count Promotions will be the addition of The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan. Sullivan will be on hand both nights to add even more havoc to the already crazed Super Brawl Bowl Weekend that NWS has planned.

Friday night February 1st, NWS returns to its favorite Bayshore Area location, the Middletown, NJ VFW Hall, 1 Veterans Lane at Route 36 (in the Port Monmouth area, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:45pm bell time.

And speaking of giants, George will be in the corner of the most giant star on the wrestling circuit today, the 7-foot-plus one-time WWE star Giant Silva, as he teams up with the former ECW'er The Zombie in the main event to face another pair of ECW TV stars in Julio Dinero & "Dastardly" Danny Doring. The ceiling tiles in the VFW Hall are definitely in danger if Silva stands up straight. Also in the giant opportunities department... Area wrestling star Corey Havoc has the chance to win his first title in NWS, none other than the New Jersey Heavyweight Title, as he takes on the hard-hitting popular champion Vicious Vinny. Another pair of NWS title holders who are not so popular, Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie and Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans, will also be seeing action in Middletown, along with local stars "Outlaw" Shane O'Brien and Rhett Titus.

Tickets for this highly anticipated event are still available, at only $20 for adults and $18 for kids and seniors.

Saturday night February 2nd, NWS makes its annual return to Edison, NJ's St. Matthews Catholic School, 81 Seymour Avenue (minutes from Routes 1 and 27), with a 7:35pm bell time.

Once again, George will be in the corner of his friend Giant Silva Giant Silva, and this time Silva reunites with his teammate from The New Odd-It-Tees, the 400-pound Goal-Duh (who will certainly have his friend Cartman with him) to face a pair of dangerous Jersey brawlers in one-time ECW star The Equalizer and the terror of the independent circuit, Danny Demanto. The fans will also be treated to a host of local pro wrestling standouts including NWS Cruiserweight Champion "Delaware Loudmouth" J.D. Smoothie, the popular heartthrob with the young ladies Rhett Titus, tag-team champion Nicky Oceans, Luchador Antonio Malave, the high-flying youngster Mikey Pacifica, and Edison's own manager extraordinaire Deboniar Dave Andrews.

Tickets are still available for this annual spectacular, at only $17 for ringside seats (all the bleacher seats are already sold out).

Tickets for both shows can be ordered by phone by calling NWS at 1-732-888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
