Internet Rumors.. Stop the Madness.. Nowinski.. Chicken Friendly Sauce.. Jackie Fargo.. HOF Feedback.. Brett Favre.. Hennig in His Prime.. Stupid People Who Hit the Ring.. Lilian Garcia.. Chyna..

Let’s stop burning daylight and get to a few of your comments.

Ryan- All wrestlers are not rude. But as in any other walks of life there are rude people. I always try and sign as many autographs as I can, but there are occasions when time just will not allow it. Plus, if I can’t sign the majority of the fan’s autographs I feel badly about signing only one or two unless they are children or special needs individuals. You should not take it personally when someone doesn’t sign. I got my first wrestling autograph from a wrestler named Jerry Kozak and he said “thanks” to me upon signing it. I have never forgotten it and I was in grade school at the time.

John- I am not sure of Fuji’s ailments nor would I feel comfortable talking about his personal health in this space. But he is no “spring chicken” and the wrestling business can take its toll on people in a variety of ways both physically and mentally.

Ron- My wife got my OU pin for me here in Norman. Several stores down on Campus Corner sell them, as does the Super Wal-Mart in Norman.

Mark- I loved the Cena-HBK match and thought it told a compelling story. Both men gave us everything they had and for people to pick that match a part as if they were experts is pathetic. Effort should count for something in this world, but it seems as if it counts for less each year. When is enough going to be enough?

Jason- I feel that there may be too many titles now, but if the Hardcore Title were reinstated it might fit best on ECW.

Jordan- “internet rumors” have it that there are issues between HBK and Cena. How would they know? Did they report that they actually interviewed either wrestler? Or was this the proverbial “word on the street” talk? HBK and Cena are very competitive in the ring and that’s all I care about. Factless dirt is not something I hang my black hat on. My suggestion is that neither should you.

Tony Taco- Thanks for ordering and enjoying our products. I appreciate all your business and am happy to hear feedback on our sauces and jerky.

James- Perhaps you should be a detective. I have never heard that Lilian Garcia was a lesbian! Good grief the wrestling internet can be brutal! Lilian is not a lesbian, but if she were what would it matter? I know that Lilian was married and is now dating a guy. My “No Man’s Land” remark Monday night was a cliché’ that implied Mr. McMahon had not been invited to reside where he was at the moment.

Karen- So Austin did not acknowledge the Hogan chants… Why should he? What would it prove and what would be the reason. There will be NO Hogan-Austin match. Plus Austin was in Dayton Monday night, but the decision to not utilize him on Raw was not Steve’s. Lighten up Francis…. or Karen, but thanks for the comment.

Mary- Great to hear from you in the Philippines. The WWE superstars had a super time in your neck of the woods recently and some are still talking about it.

Chris- Mr. McMahon is a handsome bald man and I am glad you like his new look. I don’t think he is enthralled with it however. Ben- I would love to do some national Skittles commercials, but that prospect is “highly unlikely”. They are fruity and delicious though.

Dr. Kevin- I never noticed the fan getting into the ring just prior to the Cena-HBK match starting. I was watching my monitor and not peeking at the ring. But the guy is an idiot starved for attention who apparently wanted to “streak”. He deserved to be manhandled and I hope he spent the night in jail at least. There is no place for that sort of B.S. in my opinion.

Ryan- Chris Nowinski, the Harvard grad, works part-time with the WWE in Smackdown Your Vote and is a consultant in Boston full time. He also just wrote a book about concussions, which is what put him out of the ring.

Danny- I never like to rank any thing without giving it a great deal of thought and consideration. I would have to rank WM23 as a really solid show that I thoroughly enjoyed. Some Manias have been better – some have been worse. Such is life in a subjective business. I had fun, so for me Wrestlemania 23 was a success. Plus, Mr. McMahon made a bunch more cash.

K’Bass- By all means pursue your dreams. If I had not done so, I would have never had a career in this business. If you don’t try, you KNOW you won’t succeed.

Jaime- Our Bar-B-Q sauces go GREAT with chicken on the grill or the smoker. I add the sauce on grilled chicken at the end of the process about 2 minutes or so from finishing the bird. I even use our sauces on grilled salmon and it is wonderful.

Troy in Mississippi- Brett Favre is one of my all-time favorite athletes and a guy I got to know casually when he was a rookie with the Atlanta Falcons in 1992. The Falcons will never live down trading Brett to Green Bay. There is no one in the NFL that I personally respect more than Brett Favre. I knew he was a fan of the Freebirds back in the Mid South Wrestling days. If you ever see him, send him my best. I would love to have a piece of Favre memorabilia for our new Bar-B-Q place.

Josh- I am glad to hear you had a great time at the HOF ceremony and enjoyed our beef jerky. I loved being a part of the ceremony and always have considered that event one of my favorites of the entire year. I hear our Beef Jerky is addictive… in a good way.

Darren- Deuce and Domino with Cherry are still evolving and look to have potential. I saw them Monday night on Raw even though, due to my voice, I did not get the opportunity to say much about them.

Danny in Belgium- I don’t pay much attention to what any wrestler, including Kurt Angle, say in a negative way about any subject. These rants are usually a means to draw attention to one’s self or to simply generate publicity. It is as old as the business itself.

Ian- Without question, Curt Hennig in his prime today would be a HUGE star and would no doubt be a champion. Curt was talented in so many ways and left us much too early at age 42.

Wagdaddy- Hello in our neighboring state of Arkansas. Yes, I have seen Jackie Fargo wrestle on tape, but never in person. The King idolizes Fargo and has told me so many Fargo stories I feel like I know Jackie, an all-time legend.

Jimmy in Australia- I don’t think the WWE is afraid of TNA on any level. However, to have product exclusivity on a specific TV network is not unusual in the broadcasting industry. Did more than one network cover the Olympic Games live events in your country when they were held there? UK Andy- I said MY personal preference would be to see wrestlers get 3-5 years of training before they appeared on WWE TV. That’s me, and I am not making those decisions and this is not a WWE website and is simply my opinion.

T.J.- The Great Khali is what we call an “attraction” wrestler. His skill set will never be as refined as say a HBK or a Benoit for example but the business has always liked utilizing the “freaks of nature” over the years including 601 pound Haystacks Calhoun and the 600 pound McGuire Twins none of which were great wrestlers or athletes but did well for a period of time being booked as attractions. Andre far exceeded the “attraction” label and could perform when he was younger and healthy. Will Khali ever be Andre? Not likely, but neither will any other “attraction big man” in my opinion.

Arsalan- I don’t know how you interpret that I don’t like The Undertaker, Rock, Bret Hart, etc. Have you read somewhere that I didn’t? It certainly is a load of manure if you did. Or are you in a treatment facility with computer access? Seriously, I have never said a disparaging word about any of the aforementioned men and consider all of them to be personal friends.

Kerri- We had several Okies at the HOF Induction Ceremony which I greatly appreciated. The fans who attended could not have been nicer to me and my wife and I will remember that night for the rest of my years. Just like I will always remember the ovation I was lucky enough to receive the prior Monday in Chicago!

Alex- I don’t have a bad relationship with Chyna, as best I know, but I would have to say I really have no relationship with her, as I have not seen nor spoke to her in years. I certainly harbor no ill feelings toward her and wish her happiness and peace. Hollywood is a tough place to make it AND to maintain one’s complete sanity.

Gator in Bartlesville, Oklahoma- Thanks for the kind words my Oklahoma friend. Come see us one of these days at I-35 and Main in Norman and we will feed you some mouth-watering Bar-B-Q. I will always be an Okie and I moved back home to enjoy our state. Moving back was not without its costs, but it was the best move I have ever made for many reasons, namely my health and my family.

Check in on the special offers we have awaiting you on our home page and, as always, I sincerely appreciate all of you visiting our site and for sampling our products.

We will have more new content up over the next few days.
