I've been reading many of the comments by readers regarding the Hulk Hogan signing at Toyota Park. I attended both the signing and the show and had a great time. I had talked to both Chris Sader, the promoter of the signing and WCPW star wrestler Steve Boz. Both told me that the 6 Legends would sign 1 item and it could be anything you brought. They both told me pics with camera or extra signed items would be extra.
Hogan himself was very personable and a pleasure to meet. I enjoyed all of the Legends but Jimmy Hart and Tito Santana were the friendliest. Tito was one of my all-time favorites and was very fun to talk to. I brought my own items to get signed and every Legend signed them no questions asked. I was only charged $10 when I got a pic with my own camera or buying an extra Tito autograph. None of my other friends had to pay for their first autograph either.
The show itself was also enjoyable. WCPW always puts on a good show. Austin Roberts vs Tito Santana was a good match. Tito showed he still had it even though Roberts scored the pin. Austin Roberts is a great indy wrestler with a bright future. The best match was ROH Champion Austin Aries vs. Steve Boz. The B-O-Z got dqed but gave a strong showing. Boz is one of the best indy wrestlers not to be signed by WWE, TNA or ROH. A great night for all wrestling fans.
