Georgiann, just got back from hulk hogan appreciation day in chicago and thought i'd send some info and pictures to you. -Hulk was late about 30 minutes and then did a few interviews before starting the session - the $99 fee got you one picture with hulk and one autograph of any item. for and extra $50 you could get a second item and picture autographed. - Hulk was very gracious and took time to speak with everyone i saw. He let us ask questions while it was our turn and didn't just push aside for the next person -The $99 was advertised to include autos from valentine, hart, beefcake, nasty boys, and santana. it DID NOT advertise that they would only sign the promotional flyer, and if you wanted your personal item signed it was and extra $10 (and in some cases and extra $10 for pictures). This upset many people, especially parents who had already paid for each child to enter. Saggs of the Nasty boys was willing to sign my WWE encyclopedia for free since the mom in front of me was complaining so much. -I asked Jimmy Hart if wrestlelicious had been picked up yet and he said "hopefully soon" and said that they had to go back and do some re-shoots -Mike Adamle was there for the local news and took time to take pics with some in line and sign our WWE encyclopedias on his page - Tito Santana was upset that he wasn't listed as a signer on the ticketmaster page, so few people brought Tito-specific items to have signed (cutting into his take) overall, i have never been a big hogan fan but i really enjoyed the day. it ran smoothly and was well organized. thanks, michael senger |
