ANOTHER LAX REPORT – NOT SO FAVORABLE

……

Georgie,

I just wanted to send a report from yesterday's LAX signing...

My crew and I have been going to signings at Bud's store for two or three years now and never had any problems... UNTIL this signing, that is.  Thing is, though, this wasn't the fault of Bud, Chad or anybody else involved with the store, as they only housed the signing.  Our problems solely laid upon the shoulders of the promoters from WrestlingMarx, the people who conducted the event.  At times, it seemed as if they didn't know what they were doing.

My biggest gripe with them was how they kept changing around prices.  My cousin's fiance just wanted to get an extra item signed by Homicide and the woman at the ticket table said it'd be five dollars.  Then, some loudmouth in a Black Label Society shirt practically ran up to the table and shouted, "MAKE IT TEN!"  Then, as my cousin's fiance tried to talk with Homicide during his time up at the table, the same guy in the Black Label Society t-shirt kept on interrupting and trying to talk to Homicide about utter nonsense.  Whatever happened to the customer getting their money's worth, like a few seconds of conversation before the autograph and picture?

Speaking of the picture, my cousin's fiance paid for one with LAX and Salinas wandered into it at the last minute.  Some of you might see that as a freebie, as group photos were extra, but he DIDN'T WANT HER IN THE PICTURE with him and LAX.  When he confronted BLS T-Shirt Guy about it, he rolled his eyes and walked off.  That's not professional in the least.  Had this been Ken and Steve from K&S Promotions, George from George's Collectibles or, heck, even Eric Simms, my cousin's fiance would've been sent right back over to the table for a picture redux.  And, yes, they even went back on their word when it came to the PHOTO itself, too.  Before he paid, the lady said he could substitute their Polaroid with our digital camera... and they didn't even use our camera!  Again, more eye-rolling from BLS T-Shirt Guy and more disappointment for us!

I seriously hope these guys get their act together between now and Shane Douglas's signing on September 6th.  We've been looking forward to meeting "The Franchise" for years now and do not want nonsensical behavior like we endured yesterday to inhibit our good time at that signing.
