I wanted to give you a quick report of the New England Pro Wrestling HOF eventat New England Fanfest on Saturday May21st in East Providence. This is the 3rd
hof event that I have been too and Joe Bruen certainly outdid himself this year
. Inductees included Chief Jay Strongbow, Rick Martel and Tito Santana of
Strikeforce, Samu of the Headshrinkers, The Lake Sisters , Wrestling historian
Tom Burke and Georgiann Markropoulus. Howard Finkel assisted Joe in announcing
the Honorees and Howard inducted Chief Jay, Rick Martel and Tito Santana. Over
20 wrestling stars were inducted this year . Former cohost of the Bobby Heenan
show Jameson did a bit of his comedy routine . Past honorees Tim White and Pete
"the Duke of Dorchester" Dougherty also stopped by . I am allready looking
forward to next years event !! I am attaching several photos .
