ANOTHER REPORT FROM FAN SLAM

….

Hi Georgie,

I've been reading the reviews of Fan Slam and I thought I would send my own.

I was quite surprised at some of the previous reviews since what they saw I never witnessed.

The crowd was fairly small, maybe 200 tops (and I'm being generous). All the wrestlers, with the exception of Tomko, were extremely nice and cordial. Tomko wasn't mean or anything he just never spoke (at least to me or the people who went before me) and didn't really seem to want to be there.

The pictures that were being signed (provided by Fan Slam) were horrible. They ranged from color photo copies to black and white photo copies. How do you have a convention and not have any decent photos of any of the guests??

With the exception of Al Snow, none of the guests really had too much of a line. The majority of people did seem to go for Angelina Love and Awesome Kong, but that line died down fairly fast as well. (Of course, with a crowd this size, they would).

In the past, Tommy's Fan Slams have been simply amazing. Unfortunately, this one just didn't stand up to his past outings.

It seems as if the NJ area, in general, is oversaturated with these types of conventions now and it's only hurting it for everyone.

Thanks!
Angel M.
