ANOTHER TRIBUTE TO SHERRI

from neighbors….

My husband and I were talking on Friday night about giving Sherri a call sometime on Saturday to see how she was doing.  The last time we talked was about two months ago after our granson died.  Saturday morning, I read with total shock and disbelief that Sherri was dead.  I have spent the last few days crying and browsing the internet for any further information.

Dr. Tom Prichard said: if she was your friend, you had a friend forever

No truer words were ever said.  I was fortunate enough to know Sherri the person, not the character.  My first meeting with Sherri was two and a half years ago, she had just moved into the house next door.  We immediately became friends.
I remember when they called her about the Hall of Fame induction.  She came over to the house so excited, we were all so happy for her.  We watched the presentation online, it was Sherri at her finest.  A few days after she came home, she called us for a private photo session with her and to give us a signed program from the induction ceremony.

(Holding a big glass of ice tea with grape juice, something Sherri would always ask for when she came over)  "Here’s to you Sherri."  You came into my life when I needed a change and brought your smile and friendship.  I will never forget you and I am proud to have been of the lucky to call you “Friend”
