Ballpark Brawl™ offering $500 to top independent bands
”Ballpark Brawl™ Battle of the Bands” music will be heard during Ballpark Brawl™ IV & V live and on dvd...
Buffalo, NY (6/22/05) – Does your band have what it takes to introduce some of North America’s best wrestling talent to the ring? Is your band looking for increased publicity and exposure? Does your band need $500?
If you answered yes to all three questions then we would like to make you aware of the “2005 Ballpark Brawl™ Battle of the Bands Contest” The contest is open to any band currently unaffiliated with a recording company. Bands can submit up to four songs for consideration. Entries can be sent for consideration until August 8th.
The winning band will be announced via press release on August 10th. The band will win $500, receive tickets to the August event, have their song made into the official event music video (seen at the event, event DVD’s, on www.ballparkbrawl.com) and used to introduce the main event for each show on DVD.
The top twenty entries will be utilized as the entrance music for other wrestlers on the card. All entrances will note the bands and music titles on the stadium Big Board as well as be recognized on www.ballparkbrawl.com, at the event in the event program and on event DVD’s.

“We constantly strive to set the Ballpark Brawls™ apart from other events. By adding music unique to the events we hope to continue that effort. There is some amazing music not heard by the masses. We would like to highlight some of those bands just on a verge of breaking out,” said Ballpark Brawl™ representative Christopher Hill.

The first Ballpark Brawl™ of the season is Friday night July 15th. The event is highlighted by matches staring The NATURAL Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles, Teddy Hart, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmere, Jay Lethal, Roderick Strong, Slyck Wagner Brown, John McChesney, April Hunter and many more names to be announced over the next few weeks. The second announced event is Saturday August 13. Tickets for each event are on sale now.
EVENT INFORMATION
Ballpark Brawl ™ IV – “fridaynightSMASH”
Gates will open at 6pm.
Belltime will be 7pm.
Ballpark Brawl ™ V – “TBD”
Gates will open at 1pm.
Belltime will be after the 2:05pm Buffalo Bisons baseball game.
Talent will be announced in a later release
TICKET INFORMATION
Ticket prices remain the same as last year. Reserved tickets for the Ballpark Brawl are $12.00 and field seats are available for $25.00. Tickets are on sale at the Dunn Tire Park box office, all Tickets.com and at the Bisons web site, Bisons.com. Field seats are only available by calling the Dunn Tire Park box office at 716.843.4373.

Legal Stuff
By participating in this program, you and your band agree that, if your band’s song is selected as either the winning entry or one of the top twenty entries, you and your band will assign to the Buffalo Bisons, Inc. (“BBI”) all rights in the music and lyrics of your band’s song as well as right in any sound recordings of your band’s song. This assignment will be in the form of a written agreement containing other terms and conditions deemed necessary by BBI for its protection. BBI’s use of your band’s song will depend upon you and your band’s execution of this agreement. Selection of your band’s song as either the winning entry or one of the top twenty entries will not obligate BBI to use your band’s song for any definite length of time. If BBI decides not to use your band’s song BBI will reassign or license (at BBI’s option) to you and your band the rights assigned to BBI. Regardless of whether or not your band’s song(s) is/are selected, you agree all discs, tapes, and other materials you have submitted become the property of BBI. The top twenty selections as voted on by the panel will be included in each event as wrestler entrance music and will be included on the event DVD’s and videos with proper acknowledgement. No additional compensation will be supplied to the bands for such usage. If a music specific compact disc is to be created using the submitted music separate agreements and financial arrangements may be arranged.
