Ballpark Brawl™ V “BANG! BANG! supercard just a day away! 8 huge matchups! 

Over 30 top talent to appear including Mick Foley, “Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, Charlie Haas, Sabu vs. The Sandman and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Sabin for the NATURAL Heavyweight Title  

Buffalo, NY – One of the nations largest independent wrestling shows Ballpark Brawl™ V “BANG! BANG!” will take place on Saturday, August 13th at Dunn Tire Park in Buffalo, NY. The event will take place after the Buffalo Bisons vs. Ottawa Lynx baseball game. Gates open at 1pm. Great seats are available for an event fans will be speaking about for years. All the talent plus some shocking and amazing surprises. A limited number of field seats are available for $25 and general admission seating is available for only $12. The card… 

MICK FOLEY

- The event includes the Western New York return of Mick Foley! The man previously known as Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack will be throwing out the first pitch, doing some radio commentary and of course signing autographs in the big tent. But he has asked to do more. Mick plans to be very involved in Ballpark Brawl V. After all it is called Ballpark Brawl V “BANG! BANG!” You never know what may happen when you bring multiple combustible personalities to the ring. One thing is for sure, Mick Foley is not coming alone. He says he has an “extremely” interesting surprise! 

SABU vs. THE SANDMAN

- In a classic ECW match-up the homicidal, genocidal, SABU will square off against the hardcore icon THE SANDMAN. Many said that last August may have been his last match. After returning from a major illness Sabu is back 100% and ready to go. However, it appears he may be in a different frame of mind. It appears that someone may have gotten into his head. There may not be enough tables and chairs in the ballpark to contain the energy and aggression these two posses. For certain, they will take Dunn Tire Park to the extreme. 

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS vs. CHRIS SABIN (for the NATURAL Heavyweight Title)

- The NATURAL Heavyweight title will be on the line as the “Fallen Angel” CHRISTOPHER DANIELS will take on “The Future” CHRIS SABIN. Last month, Daniels defeated AJ Styles in a spectacular best out of three submission match to win the title. Afterwards, Daniels had the belt modified to fit his golden touch. His opponent, Chris Sabin, was able to outlast five other top challengers in a 6-man “Futures” Match to get his title shot. Both men bring to the ring technical greatness and a flair for the dramatic. This could be a match for the ages.

 JIMMY HART & ? vs. KAMALA & Jimmy T. (DJ Challenge)

- WWE Hall of Famer, “Mouth of the South” JIMMY HART is once again up to his old tricks. This week he challenged WKSE 98.5FM DJ “Jimmy T” to a tag match. The ever over confident Hart even allowed the DJ to select his partner. Of course that was before Jimmy T selected WWE legend KAMALA to be on his side. Now all bets are off but Jimmy T has promised Jimmy H a tag partner with WWE credentials. Who knows who will walk down that aisle? We just know that it will be a legendary personality. 

CHARLIE HAAS

- Just where does that leave CHARLIE HAAS? The former WWE tag-champ is primed and ready to prove who the greatest wrestler is today. Rumors are circulating about who he may face. Could it be someone new to the Brawl? Haas doesn’t care. He is set to say some things and prove some things on BPB V.  

“I can not wait for this show. I have a lot to say, a lot of pent up frustration but more importantly I have a lot to do. The sign on the marquee says wrestling and that is what I plan on doing in Buffalo and I don’t have to have a Hollywood writer to do that. Just give me a ring and an opponent, I’ll do the rest,” said Mr. Haas. His opponent for the show has not been set and looks to be determined at the show. Whoever he is matched up with it is sure to be a purist’s dream match! 

ABYSS vs. SLYCK WAGNER BROWN (Field of Screams Strap Match)

- Other federation officials have made several attempts to change the stipulations regarding the ABYSS vs. Slyck WAGNER BROWN match. They even tried to get the match cancelled all together. However, Mike Rosario and his client Abyss have been insistent that the match go on as scheduled. They have stated that the only changes made to the match are their changes and no one else’s. Slyck has been unusually quiet about all of the commentary. With everything at stake one may think he is lying low on purpose not to ruffle any feathers with TNA or April Hunter (after he fed her to Abyss for a Blackhole Slam in July), but those that know him think he has something (or someone) up his sleeve. 

Miss Jackie Gayda, Traci, Jaime D, April Hunter plus a mystery woman (Women’s Battle Royal)

- Yep, former WWE diva Miss JACKIE GAYDA is joining the Women’s Battle Royal! Looks like she has a few things to get off her chest as well as the Tough Enough 2 winner is primed to speak her mind and showcase her skills. It will “diva”netely be an interesting night. While that question has been answered, others remain. Who is the final competitor? Can TRACI finally win a Ballpark Brawl match? Who is JAIME D? Is APRIL HUNTER focused enough to win or will Slyck continue to be a distraction? All will be answered on Saturday. 

SONJAY DUTT vs. TRENT ACID
- This match features two of the absolute most charismatic and talented high flyers wrestling today. Will the Original Playa from the Himalaya SONJAY DUTT be able to avoid the Yakuza kick? Will TRENT ACID be able to avoid The Hindusault? One thing is for sure these two h a chance to absolutely steal the show at the very beginning!

MATT STRIKER, BOBBY ROODE, JOHN McCHESNEY, GLAN SPECTRE, DAMIEN ALEXANDER & ? (6-man “Future’s” Elimination Match)
- Interest in the 6-man “Futures” match up continues to build. The soon to be WWE bound MATT STRIKER is looking to make a final indy title run before he heads to the big lights of Connecticut. Matt Striker has joined NWA Upstate Heavyweight Champion GLEN SPECTRE, Empire State Wrestling Heavyweight Champion DAMIEN ALEXANDER, JOHN McCHESNEY and Team Canada’s BOBBY ROODE with one remaining to be announced. The mystery person has been pursued feverishly by the WWE; however, this person has kept to his word and has decided to build his reputation the way his idols have. While it is only a matter of time before he takes his place in the WWE, thankfully for the fans in Buffalo that time will not be before August 13th. The winner of this match will have a #1 Challenger Match the next night in Rochester.

TEAM CANDA (Petey Williams & “Primetime” Eric Young) vs. Shawn Spears & ? (Canadian Tag Team Grudge Match)
- In July, SHAWN SPEARS was made a provisional member of Team Canada. After what happened in the match Spears is out for revenge. PETEY WILLIAMS and Scott D’Amore decided to eliminate Spears early. While Spears got some revenge on Williams and superkicked him into Sabin’s “Future Shock” finisher, he has been actively speaking to wrestling talent on his side of the border for a partner. From what we are hearing he has three potential partners…all three of whom have an axe to grind regarding various Team Canada members. Some of these issues began right here in Buffalo, some elsewhere. Just who will he choose?

Just remember you may know everyone on the card BUT you don’t know everyone who is going to be there!
