Following months of rumor and speculation, an announcement event at Pinewood Studios in London confirmed that former WWE Champion Batista has been cast as one of the main villains in the 24th James Bond film. It is yet another major break for the budding film star who most recently appeared as Drax the Destroyer in the highest-grossing movie of 2014 — Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Batista is set to star as Mr. Hinx opposite an all-star cast featuring Daniel Craig, Monica Bellucci and Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz.
