PRESS RELEASELive Pro-Wrestling at BISHOP HAFEY Senior High School Gym
The World Wide Wrestling Alliance and Hazleton Little League will present an
exciting Pro-Wrestling event live on Saturday April 28th with a bell time of
7:30PM. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. The pro-wrestling event will be held in
the Bishop Hafey High School Gymnasium. This event has been put together by
W-W-W-A President/Owner, Dino Sanna and Bob Yevak from the Hazleton Little
League. Money raised from this wrestling event will go towards the overall
operation for this great youth program
The Card on April 28th will feature TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) Super Star
“Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner. Steiner will be making his WWWA Début, but
is definitely no stranger to the Squared Circle. Any wrestling fan will
surely remember Scott from The Steiner Brothers Tag Team to him winning the
WCW Heavyweight Championship. Other wrestlers on April 28th card are The
Beast Glen Osborne, I.C Champ, Ravage, The Wolfman, From Japan Ykushi, and
for the Kids, Doink the Clown. There will be a high flying High Impact
Championship match with Champion, Arkham defending his belt against Rodney
X, and “Hazleton’s Own” T.J Masters. We will also feature a great Ladies
Championship match with the Native American, Alere Little Feather taking on
Tina Marina from Italy, just to name a few. There will be 8 exciting matches
by the World Wide Wrestling Alliance that you won’t want to miss
Although this is the first time the World Wide Wrestling Alliance will be
bringing Pro-Wrestling to the Hazleton Area, this Family Friendly wrestling
organization has been in business for over 25 years. Dino Sanna, President
of The WWWA said clearly “we will be back many more times to bring quality
wrestling programs to Luzerne County and for the people of Hazleton.” “We
also have a huge surprise announcement to be made that day which should be
exciting for all the fans up here!”
Dino Sanna, said that this is “old time, back to basics wrestling” like you
remember. Our motto is “Wrestling, the way it was meant to be”. The W-W-W-A
never offends any one with vulgar or obscene jesters. You will not see any
nudity at our event either, unlike what is on the TV today. Anyone from the
youngest child to the oldest adult can come to a W-W-W-A card and not be
offended by our brand of FAMILY ORIENTED wrestling, and we have letters from
fans all over the world to back up our claims.
2006 is the 25th year in business for the WWWA, and is one of the oldest
Indy wrestling groups around today. “We have out lasted some of the BIG
BOYS. We have done events all over the country, and like our name states,
around the world. Our best over sea tour was in Africa where we had over
45,000 fans at each of our events”, says Sanna.
We take pride in saying that a Living Legend like Bruno Sammartino serves as
our commissioner, and has done TV commentating for us. We have also brought
in Stars such as King Kong Bundy, Jimmy, “Superfly” Snuka, Larry Zbyszko,
George “The Animal” Steel, “The Barbarian”, Capt. Lou Albano, Sid Vicious,
“Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, Rick Martel, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Doink &
Dink, and the ever popular tag team the Bushwhackers, plus many more stars
of old.
Tickets are JUST $12, for reserved ringside seating, $10 General Admission.

the night of the event. With Scott Steiner on the Card tickets will no doubt
