NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX
Episode 86
October 22, 2007

Congratulations to “Awesome” Austin Creed for landing a contract with TNA Wrestling. His character was light years ahead of his wrestling ability upon entering NWA Anarchy. However, Austin improved faster in six months than most wrestlers do in an entire career. I met Austin several months back and find him to be one of the nicest personalities in not just wrestling, but in life. Here’s wishing an awesome career to an awesome person. Also, Caleb Conley faces off with Charlie Dreamer for the new ECWA promotions in North Carolina. Now, welcome to Independent Wrestling’s Only Television Report without MERITT~!

WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- Last week on NWA Anarchy TV, “Professional Wrestling’s Only Serial Killer” Iceberg eliminated Phil Shatter to earn a title shot at NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Ace Rockwell. This week, Jeremy Vain with Mr. Adonis defends the NWA Anarchy TV Title against former TV champ Adrian Hawkins.

1. The NWA Elite (Kory Chavis & Jeff Lewis & Phil Shatter & Jeff Lewis) with “the Commander & Chief of the NWA Elite” Jeff G Bailey absolutely destroyed Steven Walters & Kris King & the Hustle Squad (MJ & Penny)
The crowd showed their appreciation for Phil Shatter’s powerbomb by demanding an encore. Shatter responds on Penny with the PTSD. “The Human Holocaust” Abomination tags in and tosses King straight to Hades. Chavis even gets in on the act on King as well by delivering several brutal European uppercuts. Chavis connects with the Spinespliitta and pulls King up at two. Lewis finally receives the tag and works over King. Johnson contemplates Bailey’s master plan, but most likely it is to turn on Lewis. Abomination destroys NJ with the Tree Slim. Lewis tags in to make the cover and score the pinfall victory. Afterwards, the Feature Presentation has decided enough is enough and plasters Bailey. Chavis dismisses Lewis’s objection with the Spinesplitta. The NWA Elite serve as jury, judge and executioner as they destroy Lewis. Abomination is prepared to deliver Lewis a severance package tree slam, but Dominous makes the save with the Big Foot of Doom! Dominous pulls his mask off and reveals himself to be Mikael Judas. The Elite scrambles to hold Abomination back as Judas poses in mid ring. Judas stares down Lewis and delivers a message.
COMMENTS: The NWA Elite were awesome in their total domination of their opposition. The Hustle Squad make awesome enhancement talent and are commended for their bumping ability. Lewis’s face turn was predictable and deservedly so because everyone has popped wildly for him in recent weeks. Judas is over and will have no problem garnering crowd reaction while feuding with the Elite. Like Larry Goodman says, fans love bad guys like the Undertaker. Even in Burlington, NC, Joey Silvia, who is among the top 5 workers in the US, garners a huge face pop despite playing a heel. Then again, bad boys have been cheered since the days of the Road Warriors.

- Todd Sexton offers Wes Grissom advice. Obviously, Tony Santerelli realizes that Sexton’s advice is like substandard public housing. (Just kidding.) Santerelli calls it down the middle by telling Grissom he will never be a professional wrestler. Sexton interrupts him and offers Santerelli a rematch with Grissom. OK, so Todd was joking and tells the former Deep South Wrestling Tag Team Champion that he has a match. All he has to do is find a partner to battled Todd & Wes. Santerelli concludes anyone would tag with him because “I’m a superstar.” However, the segment isn’t over quite yet. Santerelli interrupts the Anger Alliance and Brody Ray Chase asks him, “Who are you?” LOL! Kyle Matthews informs Santerelli that a team of five would make no sense. Santerelli turns to head of TNA Talent Relations Terry Taylor and offers several flattering comments. Santerelli loves Taylor’s WWE work. (Yeah, as the Red Rooster!) Taylor says he waiting for a call and Santerelli takes it as a yes. Santerelli turns around and lo and behold, it’s another wrestler, Andrew Pendleton III. Santerelli says he’s looking for a tag team partner and Pendleton admits his tag partner left him. (Who can forget a name like Sex & Money?)

2. “The Untouchable” Jeremy Vain w/Mr. Adonis pinned Adrian Hawkins to retain the NWA Anarchy TV Title.
I’m not sure how Hawkins earned a singles title shot by primarily focusing on the tag division, but who cares, he’s earned it. Vain deposits Hawkins to the Arena floor in the opening moments. Hawkins returns fire by tripping up Vain and delivering a pounding. Hawkins dominates the offense with a head scissors takedown and a cross bodyblock. Vain retreats, but Hawkins slingshots him back into the ring for a two count. Vain eludes a dropkick and catapults Hawkins’s throat underneath the bottom rope. After commercial, Hawkins counters Vain with a jawbreaker. Hawkins gains a second wind with a springboard back elbow for a near fall. Hawkins gains numerous near falls before Vain counters with a gourdbuster for a near fall. Hawkins connects with the Unprettier for a two count. The referee chases Mr. Adonis off the apron. Hawkins scores another pair of near falls. Unfortunately, Mr. Adonis ends Hawkins’s hot streak by grabbing his ankle and allowing Vain to hit the VKO and VDT for the pinfall victory.
COMMENTS: Once Delay & Hawkins turned their attention from Patrick Bentley, their popularity has skyrocketed. Hawkins was on his game tonight and has improved. Though there were too many near falls, the ending was beautiful.

- The Brunettes head out to attack a defenseless Hawkins. They connect with the Sheeny Curse to John Johnson’s delight. What a despicable act. They pull out scissors and perform cosmetology reconstructive surgery upon Hawkins’s hair. The referees finally head out to stop the carnage. There’s nothing like running an old school hair angle. The Brunettes head back to the locker room and reenter the ring to further humiliate Hawkins. What vile human beings the Brunettes are.

3. Todd Sexton & Wes Grissom defeated Tony Santerelli & Andrew Pendleton III.
Pendleton locks up with the Babe Ruth of professional wrestling according to Johnson. Santerelli tags in and orders Sexton to tag in Grissom. Grissom obliges and wipes out a thingyy Santerelli with a dropkick. Santerelli takes exception with a forceful shoulderblock and applies a chinlock/armlock variation. Johnson heads backstage while Santerelli tags in Pendleton. Pendleton wrenches Grissom’s arm and punts his back. After a Rude Awakening across the knee, Pendleton tags into Santerelli. Santerelli applies a hammerlock and lands a trio of palm thrusts to Grissom’s chest. Grissom buys himself time by escaping a powerslam and makes the hot tag to Sexton. Santerelli high tails it and Sexton scores a near fall after a flying knee. Grissom tags back in and Santerelli kicks him smack dab in the back. Grissom collapses, but Sexton superkicks Pendleton while the referee scorns Santerelli. Grissom gains the win with a running shooting star press. Money is just not the same without Sex.
COMMENTS: This is a basic, but fun and effective storyline.

- Greg Hunter hands Slim J the mike and he has one thing to say, he wants Patrick Bentley. Well, this brings out “the Reverend” Dan Wilson. Wilson is the man that can make Slim’s wishes come true and can slay them as fast they came in. Wilson has a proposition and promptly arranges it if Slim can defeat Azreal and Shaun Tempers. Slim J accepts the proposition.

4a. “The Dirty South’s Contribution to the NWA Arena” Slim J pinned Azreal.
Johnson received an important announcement while in the locker room; Jerry Palmer will have an important announcement regarding the Mysterious Benefactor Tournament. Azreal dominates Slim by delivering stiff kicks and dropkicks. Azreal orders the crowd to remain quiet and deafens the crowd with a trio of knife edge chops. The rudo contingent was in full effect because they were demanding one more time. Azreal follows up with a huge facewasher. Ouch, that didn’t look like it hurt; it hurt just by watching it. After commercial, Azreal connects with a brainbuster for a two count. The crowd trade dualing chants as Azreal prepares to deliver the Throat Slit piledriver. However, Slim counters with the cradle piledriver for the victory.
4b. Slim J defeated Shaun Tempers by DQ.
Tempers realizes in a gauntlet match there is no rest period. Slim buys himself a few precious moments of real estate with a double stomp into an elbow drop for a two count. Tempers makes Slim pay by attempting to humble him. Slim escapes, but runs into a powerslam for a 2½ count. Slim realizes he needs to end the match now and scores many near falls. Slam lands a series of kicks to the head and scores another two count with a fisherman buster. Slim heads to the High Rent District, but Wilson clips him up. Tempers seizes the opportunity and plasters Slim with the Staff of Righteousness. Wow, the Staff of Righteousness has underwent several reincarnations lately.
4c. Patrick Bentley pinned Slim J.
Bentley smells blood and smears Slim’s blood across his forehead. Bentley focuses his attack by further clawing Slim’s blood drenched forehead. Slim mounts a huge collapse that causes Bentley to collapse. Slim connects with his flying inverted DDT for a two count. Somehow, Slim continues to mount an offensive onslaught on Bentley. The tide turns when Bentley ducks a somersault move in the corner. Bentley finishes off Slim with the Dark Driver. Afterwards, the Reverend proclaims that Bentley has been purged of the plague called Slim J. I highly doubt it.
COMMENTS: This match told a great story. It made me believe Slim had a chance to run the gauntlet.

OVERALL: This was compelling television: good wrestling with well executed and thought out storylines.

ACW "Unleash the Demon" - Results
Baba Louies
October 20, 2007
DePere, WI

The Board would like to thank everyone that came out
to see some great ACW action!

Things kicked off with what was upon further review
the 5th Annual Spookaroo Battle Royal, on the line
this year...nothing! Jerry Stylz eventually won by
tricking Douglas "Do Right" Peterson and eliminating
him.

"Tattooed" Mark Priebe came up short, as Bobby V.
added a win to his record.

Markus Maximus demanded that Jerry Stylz earn his
right to a match with him by facing off against
Douglas "Do Right" Peterson, after Stylz screwed
Douglas over in the Spookaroo. Peterson pulled off the
upset with an inside package, and Stylz was scolded by
his hero: Adrian Lynch! Afterwards, Lynch challenged
Maximus who pulled off his own upset and defeated
Lynch!

After the Maximus/Lynch match, the "Comp Clique" came
out and talked out their goals as a team. ACW
Commissioner Ben Johnson interrupted to discuss the
upcoming McCoy, Dream Police, and Dys/Arya Davari
match by bringing out Chase & Mickey McCoy who
re-united at the NWA:WI War at Waverly show. Johnson
said the winner would get the ACW Tag Titles, while
Dys and Davari would have to win in order to retain
their NWA:WI Tag Titles. The "Comp Clique" then
re-named themselves the Foreign Franchise and offered
the McCoy's a place in the team if they took out
either Miss Anne or Thomas Walton the 3rd...and the
McCoy's took out Miss Anne!

Jose Guerrero defeated Tony Mega, moving himself up in
the ACW X Division rankings.

Mystique defeated Ann Brookstone, but Mystique had no
time to enjoy the victory as Brookstone jumped her
after the match.

Chase & Mickey McCoy cost two teams their Tag Titles
as they defeated the Dream Police for the ACW Tag
Titles, and got Dysfunction & Arya Davari disqualified
costing them their NWA:WI Tag Team Titles. The NWA:WI
Tag Titles are now vacant.

J-Cash was knocked out by Nick Colucci who allegedly
used a chain to do so. The chain was not found by the
referee however. Cash later came back to
consciousness.

Tejas vs Sam Hayne ended in a disqualification after
the newly named "Foreign Franchise" attacked Sam Hayne
while Ann Brookstone took care of Mystique. Afterwards
Tejas handed Nick Colucci Hayne's personal version of
the ACW Heavyweight Title and displayed it as his own.
Colucci even referred to himself as the new ACW
Champion.

Moments after the match ended, ACW Commissioner Rev.
Ben Johnson and NWA:WI/ACW Owner Jason Jerry announced
next month that it would be Nick Colucci vs Sam Hayne
on November 10th at Baba Louies!

NWA:Midwest X Division Title match: Justin Dredd
almost walked out as the new Midwest X Division
champion, however Jason Dukes held on to retain.

----------------------------------------------------------

ACW returns in action at Baba Louies on 419 Main Ave.
in De Pere, WI on November 10th! The NWA:WI
Heavyweight title will be defended by Mason Quinn,
fresh off his victory against Silas Young!

Dru Onyx in a hard fought battle defeated Paul Tracey
this Friday past for the NWA British Commonwealth
title in St. Albany Vermont
. In front of the great
fans of NWA Quebec/ Green Mountain Championship
Wrestling this two combatants put everything on the
line for one of the most prestigious championship in
the Alliance. History between these two wrestlers go
back when they first met in NWA U.K. Hammerlock in
2003 and continued feuding in NWA Ireland which
finally came to a full circle when Paul Tracey
traveled to North America to makes a mandatory defense
against a NWA Quebec Competitor.

Kudos definitely go to Paul Tracey who was the longest
reigning champion for this title with 1 year and 2
months. Mr Tracey defended the title regularly thru
England, Ireland, Spain, Wales & the U.S. with two
recent title defenses in California. Though he want
get a rematch right away, he will be facing Dru Onyx
and Justin White in tag team action in Quebec City
Canada with the NWA Ireland Champion Phil “The Thrill”
Boyd as his partner today.

In an after match interview Dru first and foremost
gave thanks to God and dedicate his 7th NWA title to
his father who passed away last month. He then gave
high praise to Paul Tracey stating” Paul was one of
the most traveled champions we had this year and had a
stellar run as champ, he is a class act and should
definitely ranked in the top 5 wrestlers in the NWA.
This is my 3rd as British Commonwealth title and I
will continue the commitment of excellence that is
expected of me. I will go out and defend this title
across Canada within the next month and then head back
to Ireland & England in April to make defenses, Then
once my commitments are met I will take my world title
shot against whoever is holding that title.
