NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX
Episode 100
January 28, 2008
- Pro Wrestling Mid-Atlantic, in conjunction with NWA Virginia, held an extremely hot show where Damien Wayne won the 2nd Annual Magnum TA Tournament. Finally, the 2007 Airplane Spin Mid-Atlantic awards will be announced later in the week at http://www.airplanespin.com/
WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!
- NWA Anarchy is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! Last week, NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil Shatter single-handedly destroyed Jeff Lewis in non-title action. TNT reunited and it was oh so GOOD~! They not only defeated Wes Grissom & Sal Rinauro, they snatched the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles after the Awesome Attraction successfully defended them against Jeremy Vain & Mr. Rob Adonis. Of course, Jerry Palmer always tries to screw Jeremy Vain. So, Vain delivered an old fashioned ass whopping with a leather belt to the referee. This week, the Devil’s Rejects battle Slim J & NWA Anarchy TV Champion Truitt Fields, Greg Hunter interviews an incensed Shadow Jackson, and in the main event, Mikal Judas meets Iceberg in a clash of the titans.
1. The Devil’s Rejects (Azreal & Shaun Tempers) w/Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness defeated Slim J & Truitt Fields via pinfall.
Slim J & Fields completely dominate the opening minutes of this contest despite having little experience tagging with each other. Unfortunately, evil lurks its ugly head when Tempers knees Fields in the back and Azreal lands a brutal kick to the head. Nice. The Rejects brutalize Fields except for a stiff chop exchange with Azreal. The Rejects continue to get major league heat on Fields. Fields finally buys himself time with a powerslam. Referee Harold James administers the count and Tempers is close enough to his corner to crawl and tag out to Azreal. The Rejects unleash more devastation including
COMMENTS: The opener was a good contest where everyone executed his role to perfection. Slim showed great experience after seamlessly taking the Dark Driver.
2. “She’s A Man” Melissa Coates crushed Brayden McGuire.
If I were Brayden, I would take my pay in advance and skip town to avoid total embarrassment. Coates is definitely a Brickhouse as described Larry Blackmon of Cameo. McGuire attempts a monkey flip, but Coates sends him flying like a projectile before finishing him off with a faceplant. To add more humiliation to McGuire, Coates performs sit-ups while pinning him. Afterwards, Coates’s secret admire leaves a box for her. She opens the box to discover a purple doll and proceeds to shred it.
COMMENTS: This was your typical Melissa Coates squash. McGuire took some good bumps here, but the squash lacked something.
3. The Anger
The faces dominated Double A for the opening moments. It was easy to tell that there was dissension amongst the ranks when Chase kicked the middle rope when Roberts entered the ring. Wow, that was low, literally. What followed next scared the living piss out of me, Matthews was dropped on his head on a double hiptoss by King and Buck. Hunter makes a good cover for King & Buck. After a swinging neckbreaker on Matthews, Chase shoves Roberts out the way to make the save on the pinfall attempt. Roberts takes matters into his own hands by tripping up King while Chase distracts the referee. After commercial, Chase performs the Fargo Strut after a sitout powerbomb. Chase scorns the faces and eats a desperation tilt-a-whirl into a Russian legsweep. Emerson makes the hot tag and goes Buck Wild on Double A. Matthews takes matters into his hands by destroying Emerson with the Lariat of Doom. Matthews tags in Chase, who performs another Fargo Strut before claiming the pinfall victory. Afterwards, the World’s Prettiest Tag Team delivers a double concerto to Matthews. Matthews fights it off before collapsing like a stubborn mule.
COMMENTS: This match lacked something. The storytelling elements were there, but the actual match failed to hold the fan’s attention. The crowd didn’t respond when Emerson received the hot tag. As usual, Chase’s antics made everything worthwhile. The Double A saga continues to entertain.
- Greg Hunter is backstage to conduct an interview with Shadow Jackson. Hunter mentions the Urban Assault Squad had problems for 6 – 9 months and asks if he saw Nemesis betrayal coming.
4. Mikal Judas fought Iceberg w/Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness to a no contest.
Members of the studio audience trade loud dualing chants before singing for them! If you’re sitting at home listening to the crowd, you should be chanting “THIS IS AWESOME~!” Note the tilde bang. Both men no sell like the large and athletic behemoth beasts they are. Jeff G Bailey and Phil Shatter observe from the entrance ramp as Iceberg snaps Judas’s back on the top rope. With the referee distracted,
COMMENTS: The match was kind of weird, but still enjoyable. The action was about as much as you’ll find without giving away too much on live television. This feud is heading for a big payoff.
OVERALL: This show started off with a strong match and died down towards the middle before picking up for the finish. I have to recommend watching the Rejects brutalizing Fields a second time because they delivered a beating and he took like a man.

NWA World Wide Wrestling
debuts on
THE SUPERSTATION!
(
"When Stage6 didn't work out for us," said NWA Promoter Rick OBrien,"The Superstation became a perfect fit. We will continue showing it via GoogleVision on NWAWorldWideWrestling.net, but now we'll be able to be seen on another platform as well, and that is TheSuperstation.TV. The show will be crisp because the site uses Windows media while World Wide Wrestling makes use of Googlevision."
TheSuperstation.TV is currently the home of another NWA show, NWA Anarchy, as well as Southern All Star Wrestling. Southern All Star Wrestling is updated every Sunday, NWA Anarchy is updated every Monday, and NWA World Wide Wrestling will be new every Thursday.
"This site will provide you with the very best in professional wrestling! We hope to provide those moments that can pick you up out of your chair and give you that adrenaline rush that made us all fans in the first place!" said Superstation.TV owner Craig Cole. "We would like to welcome NWA World Wide Wrestling, produced by NWA Virginia, to the site! Good to have you on board!"
Former North American Tag Team Champion, Scotty Rocker, faces Challenge of Career!
(
"Last night I talked with my tag partner Scotty Rocker. He advised me that he might be finished in wrestling," said partner Scotty Blaze. "The reason is because of a bulging disk in his neck. One of his hands were going numb and the doc thought it was carpel tunnel. He had surgery to fix it.
"Then he started having numbness in his other hand. They did a MRI and it showed a bulging disk was causing the problem. I forget all the details he told me. Had something to with a narrowing passage and other stuff. Doc told him if he takes one bad fall, he could wind up a paraplegic.
"He has a son to think about. As you can imagine, he is upset over all of this. There is a very slight chance he might be able to have the disk removed and fuse the vertebra like some of the wrestlers and football players have done. But not sure if that is a viable option. He is scheduled to get a 2nd opinion shortly.
"He has is having his last match this weekend so he can say goodbye. It is for BWF here in VA and he is working Ricky Morton. Not a bad possible last match eh?
"My thoughts and prayers are with him at this difficult time in his life. He has so much more to look forward to outside of wrestling, he just needs to realize it and he will given time. Heres to the best tag team partner I have ever had!!!!!!!!"
NWA Promoter Rick OBrien responded with the following statement,"I met Scotty Rocker in
"owever, after watching that match he had, a tag team encounter where his team lost, and with him suffering the pinfall as well, I was hooked on to Rocker.
"We decided to team he and Blaze up when the feud between Pharaoh and Blaze took a nasty turn, and Blaze needed someone to help him even the odds. Rocker, Blaze's 'cousin', fit the bill nicely.
"As time went by, Rocker fit in with our locker room like someone climbing into a warm bed on a cold winter's night. The fun and laughter were awesome, even if most of the ribs were on me. Blaze and Rocker were unable to defeat the Old School Empire for the Virginia State Tag Team titles, but they did defeat UNOD for the North American Tag Team Championship in Danville, at New Genesis. The reaction from both Blaze and Rocker was one of tremendous appreciation and understanding of the honor they had just obtained.
"Blaze and Rocker would go on to defend those titles in numerous locations, against numerous tag team opponents in NC, Va, WVa, and [I think]
"Rocker and Blaze created history by being in the ring with the World Tag Team Champions during the last of the TNA days in a match in
"Old opponents in the form of the Old School Empire would cause Blaze and Rocker to lose the straps in NC at the Legends' Convention, thanks to PQ using a fist on Blaze's wife. While Blaze seemed to be the lightning rod that attracted the attacks on the team, Rocker was a steadfast and solid partner. He always had Blaze's back.
"The River City Rogues attacked Rocker after one of their title defenses prior to their NC loss. One has to wonder if the bulge in Rocker's neck is a result of the Rogues' attack on him.
"Rocker and Blaze never had an opportunity for revenge against OSE, due to personal commitments and whatnot. Rocker and Blaze re-surfaced in the NWA in
"As we await the 2nd doctor's opinion, we can only pray that whatever the outcome, Scotty Rocker continues to prosper in his personal life, with, or without professional wrestling.
"If it is without professional wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance is all the poorer without such a fine, upstanding, young talent. One can only wonder how Pharaoh vs. Rocker, DW vs. Rocker, PQ vs. Rocker, Denny vs. Rocker, Brandon Day vs. Rocker...one can only wonder how awesome those matches will be...could be.
"My hat is off to one man who is a true Champion, in and out of the ring. That man...Scotty Rocker."
Please keep Scotty Rocker in your prayers. Well wishes can be sent to Rick OBrien at [email protected] and will be forwarded to Scotty Rocker
Around 300 people packed into the Great Skate Plex to
watch NWAGreat Championship Wrestling.
Before the first match was shown, attention was paid
to a new segment on the big screen called "That 80's
Moment" with John Bogie. Bogie went on hyping about
the brand new Cabbage Patch Kids, don't forget it is
the 80's. He said that one one of the Cabbage Patch
Kids looks like Sonny Siaki.
Match #1
Referee Randy Ray
"Marvelous" Michael Cook defeats "The 80's Guy" John
Bogie w/two Cabbage Patch kids. Not exactly sure how
he won.
Match #2
Referee Jeff McGowan
Randall Johnson defeats "The Beach Boy" Scotty Beach
by Countout.
After the match, Johnson took the mic and bragged
about the winning streak that he has been on. Beach
then runs in and attacks Johnson with both men rolling
to the outside.
Match #3
Referee Randy Ray
"Mr #1" Sonny Siaki defeats "The Wrestling Hybrid"
Orion Bishop w/Wicked Nemesis after hitting the
Siakilypse.
Before the end of the match, Wicked jumped up on the
apron, but was met with a superkick from Siaki. Bull
Buchanan then came out, put Wicked on his shoulders
and carried him off.
Match #4
Referee Jeff McGowan
GCW Insterstate Champion AJ Steele w/The Intern and
DeathRow defeats The Hooligans after Mason Cutter got
a big boot from DeathRow.
Steele was going for the Steele City Bomb on Mason
when DeathRow took off Mason's head with the big boot.
D-Row then covered Mason for the victory.
Reaction was shown from last weeks upset tag title
victory. First was Hot Like Lava and Quentin Michaels
demanding a rematch, which of course their buddy
Commissioner Scrappy McGowan gives. Then it showed the
new tag champions, J-Rod and Tex Monroe, celebrating
with other wrestlers in the back
Match #5
Referee Randy Ray
GCW Tag Title Match
J-Rod and Tex Monroe defeat Hot Like Lava w/Quentin
Michaels and Zero Tolerance to retain the titles when
Before the match began, Quentin had ring announcer Rob
Russo remind everyone that there is a order of
protection against J-Rod and that if J-Rod touched
Michaels, then he would be severely punished. Michaels
then started to trash talk J-Rod. J-Rod then touched
Michaels with the dreaded finger of doom (remember
Hogan/Nash), which apparently made Michaels collapse
to the ground and he had to be carried out by Zero.
Match #6
Referee Jeff McGowan
GCW Heavyweight Title Match
Triple Threat No DQ
Johnny Swinger w/Zero Tolerance defeats "The Messiah
of the Spinebuster" David Young and Bull Buchanan
after Swinger hits Young with the Shaft.
During the match one of the turnbuckles popped off. I
don't know if it's me, but this seems to happen way
too much, especially since the debut of the 6 sided
ring in GCW. During the match, Orion Bishop comes out
and attacks Bull and the two brawl all the way back to
the lockerroom. It looked like Young might win the
belt after hitting Swinger with a spinebuster, but
Zero broke up the count and the two Michaels Inc
members double teamed Young before Swinger hit the
shaft for the victory. After the match, Swinger
trapped Young's arm in a chair and hit it with another
chair, breaking the arm. This is similar to how
Swinger broke Young's long time tag team partner,
Chris Stevens', arm about a year ago.
GCW is back on the road tonight as they will be in the
is 7:30 pm. Two titles will be on the line in
Johnny Swinger w/Quentin Michaels will defend the GCW
Heavyweight title against Bull Buchanan. Got to give
Swinger some mad props, yeah I said mad props,
defending the title twice in one week and showing that
he is a fighting champion. Also the GCW Interstate
championship is on the line as AJ Steele w/The Intern
defends the belt against Zero Tolerance w/Quentin
Michaels. Can AJ keep the belt against the immovable
object in his hometown. For some reason the TV show
wasn't on today, but there should be a new video up on
the web pretty soon.
GCW 2-2
Seventy-five people filed into the
"The Beach Boy" Scotty Beach defeats "The Wrestling
Hybrid" Orion Biship w/Wicked Nemesis.
1/2 of the GCW tag team champions, Tex Monroe got a
victory over Randall Johnson.
In a GCW Interstate Title match, Zero Tolerance
w/Quentin Michaels defeated AJ Steele w/The Intern by
countout. Steele is still the Interstate champion.
Former tag team champions battled in next match as the
original Bad Company, "Mr. #1" Sonny Siaki and "The
Messiah of the Spinebuster" David Young, yes, he
competed with a broken arm, defeated Hot Like Lava
w/Quentin Michaels.
In the main event for the GCW Heavyweight title match,
Bull Buchanan defeated Johnny Swinger w/Quentin
Michaels by DQ after Zero Tolerance interfered in the
match. Swinger is still the champion.

MORE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR NWA UPSTATE’S FEBRUARY
FALLOUT (FEB. 23, 2008)
NWA Upstate/NWA Empire owner Hellcat is pulling out
all the stops to make NWA Upstate’s first show of the
year, February Fallout, which is being held on
Saturday night February 23, 2008 at Minett Hall (2695
E. Henrietta Road) in Henrietta, New York), a great
start to the year. In an e-mail two weeks ago, you
were told about the matches that had been already
announced for February Fallout. Last week Hellcat
announced several more matches for the show, bringing
the number of matches announced thus far to nine!
The new matches that were announced last week are
detailed below:
When Triple X and Super Assassin turned on Eric
Everlast this past November at Holiday Hangover, he
was rightfully upset. However, when the masked duo
interfered in Eric’s match against Sweet Lou earlier
this month at WrestleBowl, costing Eric the match,
Everlast finally had enough. He quickly challenged
Triple X and Super Assassin to a tag team match
against himself and a mystery partner. Only after
Triple X and Super Assassin had agreed and signed for
the match did E-Z-E reveal the identity of his mystery
partner, the one and only H.C. Loc! The former NWA
Upstate Heavyweight Champion, former Ring of Honor
Standout, and former (original) ECW Extreme Referee
will be in town on February 23rd to assist Eric
Everlast in his war against his former six-man
partners.
Two-thirds of the NWA Upstate Six-Man Tag Team
Champions The Latin Soldiers will be in action at
February Fallout in a normal four-man tag match. The
former Barrio Boyz (Luis Whiteshoes & Maximo Suave)
will be taking on the Ring Crew Express (Dunn &
Marcos). Coming off a devastating loss to NWA Upstate
Tag Team Champions Rhythm & Booze in a brutal and
bloody Lynchburg Death Match at WrestleBowl, Dunn &
Marcos look to rebound and begin the long climb back
up the tag team rankings in NWA Upstate. Whether
Whiteshoes & Suave’s six-man partner Stargazer will
somehow get involved in the match remains to be seen.
Speaking of Stargazer, he’ll have his hands full at
February Fallout, as he has signed to wrestle the
unconventional and unpredictable Spazz. Can the
crafty Luchadore Stargazer overcome the unorthodox
style of little Spazz? We’ll find out on February
23rd.
NWA Upstate No Limits Champion Cheech will be
defending the title at February Fallout. His
opponent, making his second apperance in an NWA
Upstate Ring, will Judas Young. Young last appeared
in NWA Upstate in September, when he was a participant
in the Indy-Tational tournament. Young lost as close
and very competitive first round match to eventual
tournament winner “Fabulous” John McChesney. It will
be interesting to see how the fans react to Cheech.
At WrestleBowl he walked out on tag team partner
Gabriel Saint, who was left to wrestle (and defeat, I
might add) Brodie Lee & Cloudy on his own. Cheech has
been a favorite of NWA Upstate fans for the past
several years, but one has to wonder if they’ll stand
by a man who abandons his partner.
Editors note: Judas Young is also currently the NWA
Pro East Television Champion

James Ross and Crusher Hansen v. The Franchise Players
never happened. Crusher turned on the rookie Ross and
laid him out, revealing that he and his gender bending
manager, B.C. Steele, were had set up the whole
situation to get the shot at Pepper Parks and the NWA
National Heavyweight title.
The Franchise Player were defeated by one half of Iron
Justice, Gregory Irons. Irons partner couldn't make it
and the match was made that if Irons could pin both
champs, Iron Justice would get a tag title match. Iron
was successful and the match was made for next show.
Before the next contest for a shot at the NWA National
Heavyweight title, current NWA East Heavyweight champ
"Spotlight" Scottie Gash came out to
complain that he was not getting a shot at the NWA
National title. He brought up that he had taken former
champ, Chance Prophet, to the limit twice.
Shawn Patrick, member of the championship committee,
told Gash that if it wasn't for his antics, he would
have got the shot. He also made the match for Feb
15th, Scottie Gash defends his title against...."
In a hard hitting, back and forth match, "The
Untouchable" Chris LeRusso choked out "Flawless"
Brandon Day to get a shot at the NWA National
Heavyweight title on Feb 15th. Day, however, was very
impressive and made his case to be considered a top
contender for any major title in the NWA as well.
Patrick Hayes defeated James Ross. Taking advantage of
Ross' frustration and getting his feet on the ropes,
Hayes managed to pull out a victory.
In a fantastic and emotional match, Mantis defeated
Dash Bennett in Title vs. Mask for the Brass Knuckles
title. Words won't do this match justice (Buy the DVDs
plug) and Mantis won the title after almost 6 months
of chasing it.
