BILL BEHRENS NWA NOTES for 4-7-08

April 5, 2008 NWA ANARCHY TV TAPING REPORT by LARRY GOODMAN

NWA Anarchy returned to the NWA Arena in Cornelia for their first television taping since Hardcore Hell. About 180 in the house and hot for every match.

It was a perfectly satisfying follow up to one of their best shows ever. The inring action was toned down, which it almost had to be, and was the only sensible thing to do. It was more of a story show, an opportunity to underscore all of the major happenings from Hardcore Hell. All of the top drawer mic workers on the roster got promo time, and it was really good stuff. Having so many effective talkers has become one of Anarchy’s strengths.

NWA Anarchy owner Jerry Palmer opened the show by addressing the latest developments with wrestling regulation. He said the General Assembly dropped the ball by killing regulations that would have been workable for the promoters, and now the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission was back in play.

John Johnson rudely his broadcast partner, Greg Hunter to do the intro for Chad Parham. This was funny. Johnson said Parham was about to defend the richest prize in combat sports, The Certificate of Awesomeness. He also introduced referee Jacob Ashworth as Butterworth. Parham said his Japanese opponent was better than Jushin Liger, Tiger Mask and Great Muta, and for those that started watching wrestling in 96, he was even better than Tajiri.

(1) Chad Parham pinned Yoshi Hiroshima with a jumping piledriver in 1:28. A fan in the second row had a grand mal seizure right after the bell rang, severely drawing attention away from the ring. The scary thing was this man did not have a history of seizures.

The response time from the paramedics was three minutes, and the man was on his way to the hospital within 20 minutes - so much for the GAEC’s obsession for having an ambulance sitting in the parking lot at every pro wrestling show in Georgia.

On the WrestleVision, we saw Sal Rinauro and Seth Delay, now known as G-Rated Guys That Totally Rule. They mocked various members of the Anarchy roster. Not the best spot for a comedy segment. The best part was Seth’s lame attempt at humor and Sal’s reaction to it. Seth closed by saying maybe they could even win a match tonight.

(2) Talent & Money (J. T. Talent & Andrew Pendleton III) beat G-Rated Guys That Totally Rule (Salvatore Rinauro & Seth Delay) in 6:12 after Delay walked out on Rinauro.  T & M jumped G-Rated Guys when they tried to do their crowd pleasing dance. G-Rated cleared the ring with dropkick and did their dance. G-Rated worked on Talent’s arm using the old Wildside foot tag in the process. Talent did a great job selling the agony here. The turnaround saw Pendelton take Rinauro’s legs out causing a face bump onto the apron. Rinauro accidentally caught Delay with a forearm. That was all it took for Delay to abandon his partner. Very thin skinned I would say. Rinauro hit a springboard lariat and went for the tag, and Delay walked away. Rinauro was pinned by Talent after the ATM – a Gori bomb/Russian legsweep combo.

Hunter welcomed Anarchy’s blissful new odd couple, Brodie Ray Chase and Melissa Coates. Chase said what happened to Don Matthews at Hardcore Hell was his own fault. Chase said Matthews should be embarrassed and ashamed. Coates reiterated that she was in Anarchy to “kick asses and break hearts.” Chase said he quit womanizing 10 years ago when he decided it wasn’t his responsibility to satisfy every woman that smiled at the Stray Cat. Chase said Coates wanted a real man, not a loser who writes love notes. Matthews hit the ring and decked Chase. Coates slapped Matthews. Matthews grabbed Coates and was about to give her a spanking when Chase wacked him with a chair. Matthews didn’t sell it and confronted Chase. Coates gave Matthews a low blow. Chase beat Matthews down with two more chair shots. The ref brigade came out to help Matthews to his fit. Matthews threw them off in a fit of rage.

Wes Grissom was on crutches when he came out with Adrian Hawkins and Chip Day for their match against the Technicians. Sexton said he would be happy to do another 2 on 3 match. Hawkins said that wasn’t going to work and introduced an old friend as Grissom’s replacement ---Ace Rockwell = great pop.

(3) The Technicians (Todd Sexton & Bob E. & Tyler Smith) beat Adrian Hawkins & Chip Day & Ace Rockwell (with Wes Grissom) in 10:08. Bob E. and Tyler are stepping up their game. This was the best they have looked in Anarchy. Rockwell wore Bob E. out with a series of arm drags. Smith landed some big league chops on Rockwell. Day entered with a springboard Thesz Press. The babyface shine was capped off by a triple Stinger Splash from Rockwell. Hawkins hit the Unprettier on Smith, but Sexton threw Grissom’s crutch into the ring to distract the ref, and Bob E. caught Hawkins with a Butt Bomb. Hawkins played face-in-peril. The hot tag to Rockwell segued into a round robin of big moves. Sexton blocked the Aces High from Rockwell and Smith took it instead. That gave Sexton time to nail Rockwell with his single leg front dropkick for the pin.

Devil’s Rejects came out with all the gold – Iceberg with the heavyweight belt and Azrael and Tempers with the tag titles. The Reverend said his master plan had unfolded at Hardcore Hell. Tank kept Mikal Judas occupied. The Rejects had taken away the fans heroes, Awesome Attraction. Then Iceberg, the greatest monster in history, butchered Shatter and made him into a toy soldier. The Reverend said there was the American way and there was the depraved Rejects way. The good reverend issued an open challenge. Out came Austin Creed to a humongous pop. The refs ordered Azrael and Tempers to the back and it was on.

(4) Iceberg (with The Reverend) beat Austin Creed (with Hayden Young) to retain the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Title in 10:35. Excellent storytelling match. Paced to let everything sink in. Creed has improved tremendously as a singles performer over the past year. Early part of the match saw Creed repeatedly try to take the behemoth down with a piggyback rear naked choke. Iceberg finally fell back on to squash Creed under him. Young came out to second Creed. Crowd chanted “Austin.” Creed responded with an ill-advised high crossbody. Iceberg turned it into a fallaway slam for a near fall. Iceberg destroyed Creed’s back. Iceberg used a cool move that was like a Canadian gutbuster drop for a near fall. Creed fired up again. Iceberg answered with a massive cannonball corner splash for another near fall. Iceberg pounded lumps on Creed’s head. Creed stunned Iceberg with an enzuigiri. Creed went on the attack. Iceberg was teetering but would not go down. Finally, a missile dropkick put Iceberg down. Creed went for broke with the Montefisto. Iceberg snatched Creed with a belly to belly suplex and snuffed him out with the Ground Zero splash.

Quick intermission because of the earlier delay. The main event made the first hour. The crowd recovered from the damper of the seizure episode in fine form.

Hunter introduced Jeremy Vain and Mr. Adonis to open hour number two. Hunter brought up Vain’s bad night at Hardcore Hell. Vain said that was a closed book and blamed Adonis for his troubles. Vain said things had been sliding slowly down hill since he hired Adonis to where he was thinking about asking for his money back. Vain offered Adonis a chance to prove himself. That lead to…

(5) Rob Adonis (with Jeremy Vain) beat Mikal Judas in 6:42. Judas opened with a drop toehold and took over with a power headlock. Adonis blocked a goozle attempt, but Judas no sold when Adonis tried to get offense. The key spot was Judas missing a high boot and taking a great bump over the top. Adonis took over. Vain slapped Judas like a little bitch. Judas mounted a huge comeback that saw Adonis kick out of a choke slam and the Mafia kick. Judas hit a pumphandle sideslam. Vain tried to save his guy with distraction. Judas glared at Vain. Vain cowered at first, and then tried to sneak in the ring. Judas brought Vain in the hard way. Adonis clubbed Judas from behind and  hit a spinning suplex.

Vain dumped referee Brent Wiley. That got a pop and Vain & Adonis DQed. Vain covered Judas and Adonis counted the pin, but Judas through Vain off at two. Vain and Adonis backed down.

Attorney Jeff G. Bailey cut an awesome promo with Shatter. Bailey labeled Shatter’s title loss at Hardcore Hell as the crime of the century. He said Iceberg was a sick, twisted, disgusting, animalistic beast for digging the table into Shatter’s head, a wound that required 19 stitches to close. Bailey said he could see the arterial spray all over the mat. Bailey said the belt was their property, and in two weeks Shatter would be cleared to wrestle. Bailey said that from this day forward, Shatter would not stand alone.

The Rejects came out for their title match and an intense confrontation between Iceberg and Shatter ensued. Iceberg was waving the jagged section of table he had used to carve up Shatter’s head. Serious tension here and one of the peak moments of the evening.

(6) The Wild Bunch (Billy Buck & Chris King) beat Devil’s Rejects (Azrael & Shaun Tempers with the Reverend) via countout in 9:10. Rejects retained the NWA Anarchy tag titles. Rejects mauled King. Really gave him a horrific beating. Azrael’s kick made a sick thud as it sunk into King’s back. It took a while, but the crowd finally got behind King, who countered Azrael’s cutthroat piledriver attempt with a Russian leg sweep. Rejects did a great job feeding for Buck’s house cleaning. Buck did a plancha on the other three guys that took forever to set up. Buck scrambled back in the ring, as King grabbed Tempers to keep him from beating the count.. Questionable finish. Wild Bunch looked like dipshits frittering away their hard earned title shot to get a cheap and meaningless victory.

Nemesis and Jay Fury entered the ring via the front door of the building. Nemesis inducted Fury into the concrete jungle. He presented Fury with a matching KG t-shirt. Nemesis said it was going to be guerilla warfare, which would only end with Slim J’s blood in the ring.

(7) Nemesis & Jay Fury destroyed Jon Davis & T. K. Cross in 2 minutes. Utter devastation. The Guerillas would eat up one guy and throw him in the corner to tag the other sap. Nemesis put Cross in a full nelson and Fury speared whitey. Nemesis tore up Cross’ chest with chops. Fury got the pin with the Enzifury.

Postmatch, Nemesis hung Cross over the top rope until his face was turning bright red. Slim J and Shadow Jackson hit the ring, the Guerillas bailed, and the place went up for grabs. Security intervened. Tried to anyway. All four security guys got knocked on their asses. A new security guy, who goes about 6-8 and 300 pounds, got in front of Guerillas to settle things down. A deafening “Shadowmania” chanted erupted as Jackson got on the mic. I don’t remember what he said. It doesn’t really matter. He could read the dictionary and the people would still go crazy. It was the emotional high point of the evening. The Bleacher Bums often cheer the heels, but where Jackson and J are concerned, the Anarchy fans are 100% unified. Guerillas were ushered toward the front door - trash talking and finger pointing all the way. A “Nemesissy” chant broke out. J addressed Nemesis. “At the next show, I got a partner to be in my corner, Buhhhster.”

(8) Jeff Lewis & Hollywood Brunettes (Andrew Alexander & Kyle Matthews) beat Truitt Fields & New Wave (Derrik Driver & Steven Walters) when Lewis pinned Fields (11:45). This match worked on several levels. Lewis and Fields looked like the stars without diminishing Brunettes or New Wave. Both team showed they could hold their own in a high profile spot. The other good news was the way it highlighted the Lewis/Fields program. It felt like the TV Title, which has been lost in the shuffle since Patrick Bentley’s departure, was back in a prominent position. Fields did a killer gorilla press spot with Matthews early, as the babyface trio assumed command. Lewis wanted no part of Fields. The story was Lewis using his craftiness to get control and keep it for his team. Driver took the heat. It built the hot tag where Lewis was finally forced to square off with Fields. 6 way action ensued. Fields gave Matthews a hiptoss into the heavens. Walters did a flip dive to the outside and Driver followed with a top rope Asai moonsault. Inside the ring, Fields had Lewis pinned with the Killing Fields, but ref Brent Wiley was busy with the action outside and was late making the count, so Lewis was able to kick out. Fields ate an elbow charging in and Lewis rolled him up using the tights.

NOTES: Two Hardcore Hell rematch are on tap for the next taping on 4/19: Iceberg vs. Shatter for the Anarchy Heavyweight Title and Slim J vs. Nemesis…Austin Creed and Hayden Young were the featured stars for the second meeting of the Top Rope Kids Club. There had to be at least 15 kids out there…Grissom’s knee injury is a minor meniscus tear.

NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX
Episode 110
March 31, 2008

“If you're in a band and you're in a plane crash, you die. If you're a wrestler and in a plane crash, you win the world title 16 times. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Today begins another era of professional wrestling with the retirement of “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. He will always be missed and never forgotten for all the memorable interviews, matches and segments he delivered.

WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- NWA Anarchy is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! This week, we resume are regularly scheduled programming, as if anything in Anarchy is regular except for hot action and hot storylines. This week, Shadow Jackson returns to address the NWA Arena. Meanwhile, John Johnson gloats about conducting an interview with Attorney/Agent Jeff G. Bailey that will earn this program a Golden Globe Award. In action tonight, Slim J and Jeff Lewis face off to determine who will battle NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil Shatter.

1. Seth Delay pinned Frankie Valentine.
Delay supposedly has the quickness advantage and immediately displays it by dazzling Valentine. Valentine is unimpressed and causes Delay to post his shoulder by eluding a corner charge. After commercial, Valentine displays his arrogance by making an arrogant cover for a two count. Delay dips for a backdrop attempt, but Valentine makes him pay with a boot. Valentine continues to dominate the offense including a sidewalk slam and a flapjack. Delay unleashes an offensive flurry after Valentine crashes and burns. Valentine fights back with a rana and grabs the rope for leverage for a near fall. Delay elbows Valentine off the middle rope and finishes him off with a moonsault senton.
COMMENTS: Valentine put on a good show, but why did he control the majority of the offense in what should be a Delay squash.

- NWA Owner Jerry Palmer orders the lights dim and introduces Shadow Jackson. The crowd pays tribute to their hero with a loud “Shadowmania” chant. Shadow tosses his crutches aside. Shadow milks the crowd for everything it is worth. As he is prepared to reveal the two missions he needs to accomplish, Nemesis rudely interrupts his former tag partner. Security momentarily holds him back until Slim J makes the save. Shadow brings Slim into the ring and thanks him. The crowd obliges with a “Thank you Slim” chant. Shadow enlists Slim J’s services for the next couple of months to kick Nemesis’ posterior.

2. Brody Ray Chase defeated Melissa Coates via DQ.
Chase displays unorthodox offense early on by spanking Coates. Coates responds with a strike to Chase’s gluteus maximus. Hunter notes Chase may go bankrupt for copyright infringement for multiple performances of the Fargo Strut. Chase espouses a strange crowd reaction when he escapes a headlock by touching Coates’s valuable assets. Chase poses and Coates clips him before teeing off. Johnson continues to nearly cause himself unspeakable harm. Chase plays to the crowd and headbutts Coates’s love maker. Don Matthews hops on the apron to confront Chase. Coates dropkicks a distracted Chase into Matthews for a two count. Coates continues her assault with a rana, but Chase responds with a pie face. Chase prepares to cold thingy Coates and uses a double throat thrust before focusing on her leg. Matthews pushes the bottom rope so that Coates can escape the hold. Chase scorns Matthews. Coates fights back, but Chase clubs her. Matthews snaps and manhandles Chase. Coates nails both men, but Matthews seems to enjoy it. Coates escapes much to Chase.
COMMENTS: The storytelling element is here, but the match had awkward looking spots in it. It was like Chase and Coates didn’t click.

3. Iceberg crippled the Regular Guys (Bobby Hill & Tyler Smith.)
Johnson compares Iceberg to other super heavyweights of yore like Big Van Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow. The death blow is swiftly delivered with the Ground Xero splash.

- “The Reverend” Dan Wilson’s commands Iceberg to deposit the decrepit carcasses to ringside. The solstice foretold the prophecy that Iceberg would become heavyweight champion. “Violent Passion” Patrick Bentley disappointed the Mighty Reverend again and blames the fans for torturing his poor hapless soul. Bentley is underappreciated and the Reverend sent him on a first class airplane trip to the Orient. Why? To learn the Oriental Spike’s secrets. Patrick needs to take responsibility for himself. Meanwhile, Truitt Fields is not forgotten and the prophecy foretold his gold will soon belong to the Lords of Chaos. Or so that is according to the former NWA Wildside Announcer now turned evil leader.

4. The New Wave (Derek Driver & Steven Walters) & “Brokeback” Billy Buck & “The Clown Prince of Cowboys” Chris King defeated Talent & Money (JT Talent & Andrew Pendleton III) & the Hollywood Brunettes (“The Wizard of Aaaaaaaahs” Andrew Alexander & “Too Hot for TV” Kyle Matthews).
Johnson has a public service announcement: don’t let your kids to be brokeback and clown cowboys. If you love model citizens, then allow your children to admire the Hollywood Brunettes. I wouldn’t suggest taking advise from the Body unless you want to end up the rudo contingent at the end of this contest. Buck & King deliver a double hogtie Russian legsweep to Alexander. The “A Lister” retaliates by promptly dumping King to the arena floor for attacking his tag partners. Back to the ring, Talent & Money stomp a mudhole into King before JT delivers a facebuster. Johnson notes that the tag team straps would make great matching accessories for their gold ring gear. I concur. Nice German release by Talent. Matthews sets down too early on a backdrop attempt and eats a spinning neckbreaker. Brokeback Billy receives the hot tag and works over Pendleton as all hell has broken out. Walters wipes out the rudo contingent. The Brunettes set up for the Sheeney Curse, but Driver turns them Brokeback. The New Wave put Talent away with an Asai moonsault/side slam combination. That looked brutal. Imagine if Ultimo Dragon performed his signature maneuver combined with a side slam. OUCH!
COMMENTS: This was definitely everyone’s best match in Anarchy except the Hollywood Brunettes who participated in a brutal ladder match earlier this year.

- After commercial break, Alexander is sick and tired of being treated like bottom card teams like T & M, the New Wave and the Brokeback Express. (I’m going to catch hell from Billy Buck some time in the future.) They won the Best Match of the Year in Georgia for 2007. Well, Mikal Judas has heard enough and immediately scares the living piss out of everyone when his music plays. The Brunettes toss Talent & Money into a double chokeslam. The Brunettes unsuccessfully plot strategy when Matthews eats a Yakuza kick. Alexander makes a peace offering to Judas and becomes a blessed scapegoat. Judas goozles Alexander from behind and eats a chokeslam for his audacity. Judas calls out Dominous and blackout effect rules. The light bills are repaid Judas escapes the goozle. Judas goozles Dominous, but lighting officials who were paid off turn the lights back out. When the lights come back on, Houdini, uh, I mean, Dominous has disappeared.

5. Jeff Lewis was declared the winner when the referee declared Slim unable to compete.
As Lewis’s music plays, Nemesis delivers a brutal receipt to Slim J by posting his back. Security, Lewis and everyone important in NWA Anarchy’s power structure chase Nemesis off. Lewis and security help Slim to the back.

COMMENTS: The undercard and mid-card talent received a fair amount of air time. There were a couple of glitches with Delay wrestling a competitive match with enhancement talent and Coates/Chase not clicking. The love triangle is still fun and makes for good entertainment. A few goals were accomplished: Nemesis found an alternative program with Slim J until Shadow Jackson returns and an explanation for Bentley’s absence.

NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX
Episode 109
March 31, 2008

Welcome to a special edition of NWA Anarchy. The program’s usual format was sidetracked due to a major snowstorm that struck Georgia on January 19 (for those of you that read this report that are not from the Dirty South). Congratulations to Davidson for nearly making it to the Final 4 and Augusta State for almost conquering the Minnesota juggernaut Winona State in the DII men’s basketball finals. Watching Winona State handle and humble several of my former Virginia Union University students a couple of years ago was a sight to behold. That is enough about basketball and on to the NWA Anarchy TV Report.

This week, the second half of Greg Hunter’s interview with Shadow Jackson and entire half-hour segment featuring “the Reverend” Dan Wilson and his Staff of Righteousness in an undisclosed locale between the Georgia state line and the Compound airs.

- Greg Hunter has journeyed to Anderson, SC to interview the former three time NWA Tag Team Champion Shadow Jackson in his home. Here are the main points of the second half of this interview:

• Shadow Jackson was extremely hurt after building up championship matches and reigns and doing what it takes to succeed in the business.
• Shadow was the mastermind behind UAS’s violence methods of assault.
• Shadow admits to changing because he allowed the fans to motivate him, but Nemesis tolerated it.
• Shadow promises to drop a hambone for every tear a fan dropped and Nemesis to lose five ounces of blood for every ounce he bled.
• You can’t stop a natural disaster. The Urban Assault Squad was a pair of natural disasters.
• The butterflies in Shadow’s stomach at Season’s Beatings didn’t compare to his debut. He was extremely nervous because of Nemesis’s evil intentions. The nervous feelings evaporated after he popped through the curtain.
• The Achilles’ heel injury occurred during an altercation with Nemesis outside the NWA Arena. A wise man once said: gravel is not a level surface.
• Hunter reflects upon Nemesis brutal assault on rookie Chip Day.
• Shadow Jackson says the doctors tell him another a month and a half of rehab and his mobility will be hindered. He fills a tingle every time a fan leaves a get well message on Myspace.com account. He will return on his time table.

- “The Reverend” Dan Wilson is this week’s guest host on NWA Anarchy and is all about the Devil’s Rejects reign of terror. Wilson unveils His Master Plan and predicts all four Reject members will hold NWA Anarchy gold.

• The Reverend used his vast wrestling knowledge to put together the ultimate tag team: Azreal & Shaun Tempers. Season’s Beatings ’07 was the Day of Reckoning and they conquered the Awesome Attraction, which is something that not even Agent/Attorney Jeff G Bailey could do.
• Patrick Bentley trusted the Reverend after everyone turned their back on him. The Reverend taught Patrick Bentley the Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy’s Asiatic Spike (who learned it from Killer Khan) after failing to rid Slim J from professional wrestling. NWA Anarchy TV Champion Truitt Fields was Bentley’s first victim.
• Jeff G Bailey tossed “the Being of Inconceivable Horror” Iceberg to the wayside and Wilson transformed him into a killing machine that left many NWA Elite unable to compete. Wilson found gold in Bailey’s trash. He is incensed that “the Feature Presentation” Jeff Lewis and Slim J have an opportunity at a title shot at NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil Shatter. That’s okay because video evidence airs of Iceberg’s massacre of Slim J.
• You can stack up heaven and earth and all of society and you still couldn’t match the Reject’s might. The Awesome Attraction and the World’s Prettiest Tag Team never stood a chance against the Rejects. Evidence Iceberg’s carnage of single-handedly taking out both tag teams air.

NWA GCW Results 4-3 Phoenix City, AL

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GCW continues to build up to their huge War Games event in front of another crowd of around 300 people. Three of the five matches tonight pitted the War Games team members in competition against each other.

Match #1

Referee Scrappy McGowan

"The Wrestling Hybrid" Orion Bishop w/Wicked Nemesis defeats "The 80's Guy" John Bogie after hitting Bogie with a spear thanks to a distraction from Wicked.

After the match, Bishop attacked Bogie but before any major damage could be done, "The Beach Boy" Scotty Beach ran down with a chair for the save.

Match #2

Referee Scrappy McGowan

GCW Interstate Championship Match

Cru Jones w/Quentin Michaels and Zero Tolerance defeats GCW tag team champion Tex Monroe to retain after Cru hits Tex with a modified swinging neckbreaker.

Match #3

Referee Randy Ray

AJ Steele and "The Beach Boy" Scotty Beach w/Princeton Gainy defeats "The Wrestling Marvel" Michael Cook and Jonathan Davis after Steele reversed Cook's roll up.

Before the match began, John Bogie came out and thanked Beach for helping him earlier. He said to show his thanks he got the greatest band of the 80's to play Beach's theme song. That band was the muppet band fronted by Kermit the Frog.

After the match, Bishop came down and started to brawl with Beach while The Bruiser and a masked man came in and attacked Steele. Interestingly enough, the masked man was dressed the way Princeton aka the Intern use to dress before he got rich.

Match #5

Zero Tolerance w/Quentin Michaels defeats David Young after bringing Young into the ring from the apron with a chokeslam.

Match #6

GCW tag team champion J-Rod and Sonny Siaki defeats GCW heavyweight champion Johnny Swinger and Shaun Banks w/Quentin Michaels after Swinger accidentally threw baby powder in Banks' eyes and J-Rod made the cover.

After the match, Zero Tolerance and Cru Jones ran down and attacked J-Rod and Siaki. Then David Young and Tex Monroe ran down and made the save. GCW owner Diane Hewes came down.

As team GCW was celebrating, Michaels, Inc came back in and attacked. After knocking out Team GCW, Swinger grabbed a Hewes as Michaels got out of wheelchair and punched Hewes as Swinger held her. Michaels then goes over and gets the War Games trophy and Michaels Inc leaves wiith it.

Last week I made mention of GCW's tv special, Friday Night Fights. That show is set to air on April 11th from 8pm to 10pm on Cable TV of East Alabama channel 7. Going to be shown on that event will be the huge 22 man #1 contenders battle royal and a tag title rematch between Hot Like Lava and J-Rod and Tex Monroe.

EWF Commisioner Frank Mott was a busy man April 4 at
FALLOUT 3. In addition to fining Ryan Taylor $1000 for
assaulting Jesse Hernandez, Frank made 2 huge matches
for April 18th in Covina.

The first being a Loser Leaves EWF Match, pitting Bino
Gambino vs the EWF's Senior Official Mondo Vega!

The 2nd match being a #1 Contenders Match for the EWF
Heavyweight Championship. This match will be a
Three
Way
Dance, with Scorpio Sky vs Dan Kobrick vs Terex!
Due to this being an elimination match, there is a
very good possibility than Dan Kobrick could have to
go through his "Definition of Pain", Terex. Frank Mott
stated at the show that if one of them were to lay
down for the other or take it easy on them in any way,
they could both expect the same treatment that Ryan
Taylor received earlier, a $1000 fine! The winner of
this match will challenge for the EWF Heavyweight
Championship at the EWF's 12th Anniversary
Extravaganza!

Another career is on the line, as Apollo Khan has put
his up against Hook Bomberry's EWF American
Championship on this card as well. If Khan fails to
win the EWF American Championship, he will be forced
to retire.

Update - In addition to these 3 matches already
announced, it has just been confirmed that Brandon
Gatson will defend his EWF Heavyweight Championship
against Sonny Samson and Markus Riot will be defending
his EWF Cruiserweight Championship against JT
Blackstar!

All this, plus 2 more exciting matches to be named
later. This show is definitely a must see! Check back
here soon to get your tickets in advance!

Derek Stone beat Domino Rivera with the Shinanomake
(however you spell it...it's Japanese, and it's pretty
much the Cobra Clutch). Strange finish: the referee
got KO'd cold, and Domino hit Stone with some Samoan
drop-type move, but couldn't pin him. So, he covered
him with the Mexican flag and went to the back to find
another ref. Stone recovered and put the dead ref
under the flag, then hid. Domino came out with another
ref and covered the dead ref for a three count, but
then they took the flag off and saw who was under it.
Stone sneaked up behind Domino and put the submission
on him and he tapped out.

Then came the surprise...Angel, formerly of Da Baldies
in ECW (the guy who once stapled New Jack in the eye),
ran in and attacked Stone, hitting him with a couple
Ace Crushers. He and Domino double-teamed Stone and
left him lying. Angel has put on a lot of weight, but
he seemed to know what he was doing.

Brett Young won the six-man. It was fine, but I think
they slowed it down too often. Hype Gotti superplexed
someone to the outside on top of everyone else. During
the ensuing chaos, Jeremy Wyatt and Jaysin Strife got
disqualified at the same time for some reason. They
fought to the back. I can't remember how Tony Cortez
was eliminated, but Darrien Sanders pinned Hype with
his feet on the ropes, and Young pinned Sanders with
an Ace Crusher, so he got the title shot later.

Intermission.

Wyatt came out and called out Strife. They fought with
wrestling moves. Wyatt took three unprotected chair
shots to the head before he finally stayed down.
UNACCEPTABLE.

Michael Strider beat Tyler Cook. Good beating at
first. Tyler eventually got some heat. Cook missed on
a charge and hit the corner post, then got school
boy'd for a pin. Disappointing finish, as it didn't
come off very believable. Strife came out and helped
Tyler beat up Strider, until Wyatt returned to make
the save.

Brett Young beat Mark Sterling for the vacant NWA
Kansas Heavyweight title. Average match, until
Sterling kicked out of an Ace Crusher. Then it got
good. Young refused to submit to two Sharpshooters.
Sterling got frustrated and got Brett's chair. He kept
trying to use it, but kept getting stopped. Brett took
some little gimmick from under his towel in the corner
and hit it in his tights. Sterling wedged the chair in
the corner, and the ref took forever trying to get it
out. While he was distracted,
