NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX

Episode 118

May 19, 2008

Brandon Phoenix is now wrestling in the Carolinas. He's scheduled to wrestle for CWA's double shot on May 30-31.

WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.

ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.

What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- Welcome to NWA Anarchy Wrestling, this is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! Hardcore Hell has concluded and boy was it hellacious night for Phil Shatter. On today’s HH recap edition of NWA Anarchy TV, Truitt Fields defends the NWA Anarchy TV Title against Jeff Lewis. You can purchase the special disc collection at http://www.nwa-wildside.com  or write to  [email protected]

- Todd Sexton & the Technicians (Tyler Smith & Bobby Hill) defeated Adrian Hawkins & Chip Day & Wes Grissom with the Hart Attack.

- Brody Ray Chase pinned Don “Smitten by the Kitten” Matthews with special guest referee Melissa Coates. Coates feigns a shoulder injury when Matthews covers Coates. Coates clotheslines Matthews and Chase wins with the sitout spinebuster. Obviously, Coates didn’t need CPR from John Johnson and tees off on Matthews until Chase calls her off.

- “The Reverend” Dan Wilson & His Staff of Righteousness preaches the gospels of tornadic activity in downtown Atlanta and a darkening economic meltdown.

- Mikal Judas pinned Tank. Judas placed Tank on a pair of folding chairs and delivered a top rope double stomp.

- The Devil’s Rejects (Azreal & Shaun Tempers) defeated the Awesome Attraction (Austin Creed & Hayden Young) to retain the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles. Thus, the Awesome Attraction must permanently split up. Afterwards, Young and Creed hugged in mid-ring.

- Jerry Palmer pinned Jeremy Vain with Mr. Rob Adonis handcuffed at ringside. The finishing sequence saw Vain’s delicate region assaulted.

- Chris King & Bill Buck defeated the Hollywood Brunettes (Kyle Matthews & Andrew Alexander) and Talent & Money (JT Talent & Andrew Pendleton III) and the New Wave (Derek Driver & Steven Walters) in a ladder match to become #1 contenders to the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles. This was described as a match of the year candidate for Georgia. You have to see some of the spots to believe them, including using a ladder as a sliding board.

- “The Excellence of Arrogance” Chad Parham delivered a promo criticizing the NWA Anarchy product over the past nine months and his plans to defend his Certificate of Awesomeness.

- Slim J vs. Nemesis saw plenty of fireworks when Jay Fury rudely interrupted the match. They were prepared to hang Slim J until Shadow Jackson absolutely killed Fury with the 10-31 spinebuster.

1. Truitt Fields pinned Jeff Lewis to retain the NWA Anarchy TV Title.

- Jeff G Bailey and Phil Shatter will destroy Iceberg in a no-DQ match later on in tonight’s main event.

- Iceberg defeated Phil Shatter to capture the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Title. There were tons of brutal spots in this confrontation. The finishing is rather ironic with Iceberg forcing Shatter to tap out by jabbing a table edge in his head. That’s what you call payback.

OVERALL: Look for a complete DVD review within the next month.

Charlotte, NC (May 21, 2008) – Khosrow Vaziri better known as The Iron Sheik has “terrorized” his opponents while entertaining generations of Pro Wrestling fan’s for close to four decades. Although The Iron Sheik turned “Pro” in 1972 he has been competing on the grappling scene since the mid 1960s and was a member of his native Iran’s Olympic Wrestling Team during the 1968 Mexico Olympics. In 1971, he won the AAU Greco Roman Gold Metal. Vaziri was also once a bodyguard for the family of the Shah of Iran.

The Iron Sheik was always a feared man in the ring because of his deadly armature background and “win at all costs” attitude. Throughout the years The Iron Sheik feuded with many of the best the National Wrestling Alliance® had to offer including Dusty Rhodes, Tommy Rich, Dick Murdock, Ronnie Garvin and Sting.

Championship gold did not elude The Iron Sheik. While competing with the NWA™ he earned several NWA™ titles, but it wasn’t until 1983 when he won the WWE® Championship from Bob Backlund ending Backlund’s 6 year reign as Champion. His run as WWE® Champion ended 4 weeks later when he lost that title to Hulk Hogan in Madison Square Garden. The Iron Sheik would then move into the tag team ranks with partner Nikolai Volkoff winning the WWE® Tag Team Championships under the watchful eye of Manager “Classy” Fred Blassie.

The Iron Sheik is a true legend of the mat game. In 2005 he was inducted into the WWE® Hall of Fame and today is retired from in ring action, but is till very active as he is being re-discovered by a new generation of fans as a regular on the popular “Howard Stern Show.”

Tickets to this event are on sale now at ticketmaster.com or the Philips Arena Box Office

NWA-SPW debuted in the beautiful gym of Roanoke-Chowan Community
College last night in Ahoskie, NC. The gym was the best venue yet for
the promotion and they debuted a video on-demand type service. There
was a professional camera filming the show and adding commentary and
you could buy it & take a copy home immediately after the show. Rick
O'Brien provided commentary along with Big Lou, Spencer Chesnutt, and
Baby Doll.

SPW Commissioner Baby Doll welcomed everyone to the show but was
interrupted by Sheik Ali Akbar & Vulstag setting up...
1-Viper b Vulstag

2-Privates Cutter & Smalls b Krotch (debuting cool green & red face
paint) & Marty Reed (w/ manager Starlite-formerly Alexandra Sinclair).
Krotch turned on Reed after for losing.

Interview w/Old School Empire--Damien Wayne & Mike Booth agreed to
have a fair fight for the Continental title tonight and talked about
keeping the title in the OSE family. Frank Parker was welcomed back
into the fold after not appearing on any shows in the area since 2006.
He said OSE had a weak link, that being DAMIEN WAYNE and turned on
him. After a minute of hesitation, Preston Quinn, Mike Booth & Big Lou
joined in the beatdown on DW.

3-The Hall Stars b The Set

4-Brandon Day b the returning Chris Escobar in a falls count anywhere
match. Both guys bled. Match ended when Kameo tried to interfere with
brass knux but Day intercepted her and laid her out with End of Days
(Northern Lights bomb) and then put Esco thru a table on the floor
with a top rope spinebuster. Esco had to be carried to the back. Great
grudge match!

5-Preston Quinn/Frank Parker b Q-Sic/Mark Bravura after Mike Booth
came out & blew water in Q-Sic's face leading him to chase Booth to
the back. Bravura was left 2 on 1 and pinned. Baby Doll got really
pissed at OSE and said Bravura could have a partner of his choice
against them in July.

6-Phil Brown b Horror Show (w/Starlite). Show did not get along with
Starlite from the start repeatedly forcing her to hide under the ring.

7-Mike Booth b Damien Wayne to win the Continental title. Very well
wrestled & heated affair. Baby Doll ended up leaving the commentary
table to cheer on DW after Big Lou's repeated interference for Booth.
As the ref was distracted by Lou & Baby Doll, Frank Parker came in
from the front door and chairshotted a bloody DW leading to Booth
getting the pin.

Injury report: Kameo was taken to the hospital with a possible
shoulder separation. Escobar suffered a 2-3 cut on the back of his
head that may have required stitches. Sean Denny was in attendance but
not wrestling due to a possible bruised kidney.

Return date is 7/26 with Booth defending vs. Q-Sic

NWA-SW Promoter Ken Taylor stripped 3-time Texas
Junior Heavyweight champ Cyclone of his title May 24,
after being advised by the champ that he could not
make a second title defense date on June 13 due to
slower rehab recovery.

Cyclone was to defend in April and broke his ankle in
two places just days before during a training session
and a new date was set for June 13 to allow recovery
time. His belt will now be fought between two former
champs Golden Prince and David Stahr at the VFW Hall,
in Houston on June 13. Cyclone asked to get the first
shot at the new champion and Taylor said a title match
would occur in August.

In other news, 7-time Texas Heavyweight champion Kevin
Northcutt will defend his belt against #1 contender
Chaz Taylor on the NWA Showcase, July 26 in Houston at
the Arena Theatre.

NWA Pro/ Pro Wrestling Revolution
May 17, 2008
Mt. Pleasant High School
San Jose, CA

The show is now in the history books and we are
extremely proud with our debut event in San Jose at
Mt. Pleasant High School. The day was a hot one and as
we were there setting up, it didn’t help that
scheduled black-outs were in order and that would of
made the show a hard one to pull off to say the least.

Once the scare was past us and a few black-outs, and
the doors opened, the show was ready to start and a
giant buzz came over the entire gymnasium.

We are very thankful to all the people that came out
to help. From the 60 foot pipe and drape, to the 12
foot entrance way and especially to all who where
there at noon getting the ring, chairs, barriers, etc
all ready for the show. Once the fans were all settled
in, all 708 of them looked on and joined the
Revolution! Looking back on the show a full day later,
there is nothing we would change, thank you to all.
Pro Wrestling Revolution returns to San Jose at Mount
Pleasant High School on November 8, 2008.

Here are the results for the show:

Shogun defeated Ultimo Tigre

Jon Anderson defeated Kid Omega
