BILL BEHRENS NWA NOTES for 5-5-08

NWA ANARCHY TV TAPING 5-3 RESULTS

In a TV Title match Hayden Young wrestled to a 10 minute time limit draw with Champion, Truitt Fields.   Post match Jeff Lewis challenged Fields.  Young said he deserved a rematch.  Fields said they could work out who is #1 contender.  Lewis then pushed Young into Fields as he was leaving the ring and was able to plant Young before leaving.

Brody Chase & Melissa Coates def Nick Paradise & Roxie Cotton when Chase pinned Paradise.  Postmatch, Chase and Coates went to spank Cotton when Don Matthews hit the ring to chase them off.  Paradise said something to Matthews who took out his frustrations by hitting him with a clothesline.  Matthews then kiss Cotton’s hand before leaving.

John Johnson interviewed Chad Parham who discussed his recent wins, Jerry Palmer being mad at him, and peo0ple thinking he inflated the credentials of the wrestlers he’s faced for the CERTIFICATE OF AWESOMENESS.  Chad admitted it was true but said he as helping them as the “measuring stick” in Anarchy, giving them the “Parham Bump”.  Parham called Seth Delay into the interview and called him his hero since he fooled Sal Rinauro, knocked him out with knucks, then cut his hair and still had fan cheering him.  Seth said the “rats” love him no matter what he does because they all want 5 minutes with him ijn the back of his car.  He said the fans are all “beneath him”.

Cory Castle defeated Seth Delay by DQ when Delay again used the knucks, first on Castle and then on the ref. He then went to cut Castle’s hair.  Again some fans, even kids with their parents seemed to like this behavior.    Before Delay could cut, Sal Rinauro hit the ring and chased him away.  Delay backed toward the ramp right into Jerry Palmer who snatched the scissors and told him in no uncertain terms that it was the last time he was going to use them, and that if Rinauro didn’t teach him a lesson he would put Delay over him knee and do it.

Ace Rockwell def Todd Sexton by DQ when the Technicians hit the ring when Rockwell had Sexton in a submission hold.  They beat on Rockwell, left, but then return when Rockwell refused to stay down.  Finally refs came out and Sexton & the Technicians departed.

The Devils Rejects (Azreal & Tempers) retained their NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles by defeating The Wild Bunch (Billy Buck & Chris King) in a no DQ, no count out match.

Chad Parham defeated Malachi with the piledriver but hands his hands full doing so as the newcomer was far from being a push over and had Parham in trouble throughout the match.  Strong debut by Malachi.

Jeremy Vain came to the ring and said that he and Mr Adonis have eliminated Mikal Judas.  Light went off then on and getting into the ring was a black robe person.   Vain backed away in fear but cracked up when the robe was thrown off and it was Mr Adonis.  Lights flickered and Mikal Judas appeared on the screen.  He told both to laugh while they could as he would return “and may God have mercy on your souls”.

In a #1 contenders match for the Tag Team Titles Hollywood Brunettes (Alexander & Matthews) and The New Wave (Walters & Driver) wrestled to a no contest as Talent & Money, Grissom & Day, The Technicians and The Wild Bunch who had been watching at ringside all ended up involved.  It was announced that at the next TV taping on 5-17-08 the #1 contenders would be decided in a Tag Team Mega-Rumble.

Jeff G Bailey introduced his Korean Assassin, Kimo the Kim & Shatter deafeated TK Cross, Bo Newsome, Yoshi Hiroshima & Jay Clinton when Newsome submitted to Kimo.  All 4 were down as the Elite left the ring for the back.  Then Iceberg appeared with the Rev and attached all 4 men, destroying them all.  The Elite returned, but before they could get to the ring the remaining Rejects appeared.  Security got between the two teams.

In the Main Event, Slim J & Shadow defeated Nemesis & Slim J by DQ but after the match Shadow was attached and stabbed in the head with a piece of the trophy they had won together, bloodying Shadow who was then handcuffed to the ropes.  Nemesis & Shadow then grabbed the noose and hung Slim J until security & Jerry Palmer forced them to leave the Arena.  Shadow needed several stitches to close the wound, and it is unknown at this time when he and Slim J will be cleared again to wrestle.

NWA Anarchy TV Report by Ca$hFlowX

Episode 115

April 28, 2008

My weekend plans for attending the Pro Wrestling Phoenix show with Arik Cannon, Daivari and the North Star Express, a job interview and a AAA baseball game at Rosenblatt Stadium were scrapped because of a snowstorm that hit the eastern half of South Dakota. Everyone is safe and luckily no one perished. Unfortunately, a tornado struck two miles east of my former employer St. Paul’s College. Normally, you hear of tornadic activity out here in the Great Plains, but the east coast has been hit hard this year. Even the Southeastern Men’s Basketball Tournament was forced to move to a rival conference’s arena after a tornado struck the Georgia Dome. The weather is simply amazing. Alright, enough about weather analysis and on to the report!

WRESTLING: (n.) ’res-ling A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.

ANARCHY: (n.) an-ar-key (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.

What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- Welcome to NWA Anarchy Wrestling, this is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! We are on the Highway to Hardcore Hell. Last week, Slim J happily fulfilled Nemesis’ wildest fantasy by manhandling the Concrete Guerilla. Bill Behrens was forced to issue a restraining order and a Zero Tolerance Policy until Hardcore Hell. Also, the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil Shatter cleanly pinned Austin Creed and Iceberg squashed Hayden Young in a competitive match. Both are on a collision course. The third man in this colossal feud, Mikal Judas, will face off Azreal. Shaun Tempers has the opportunity to become a dual champion when he faces off with NWA Anarchy TV Champion Truitt Fields.

1. Jeremy Vain & Mr. Rob Adonis defeated “the Big Deal” Sal Rinauro & “And So Is” Seth Delay “a Big Deal” by pinfall.

This is Vain’s & Adonis’s first appearance since launching a heinous attack on NWA Anarchy Owner Jerry Palmer. The rudo contingent was certainly proud of their despicable actions by displaying the Boot of DOOM~! When facing opposition mano y mano, Vain & Adonis are extremely vulnerable and even more when they retreat to ringside. Rinauro assists Delay in a dive on the heels. After commercial, the VKO proves to be fatal to Vain’s reproductive organ. Rinauro receives the hot tag and doubles his pleasure by cleaning house. Rinauro awaits Vain and connects with a springboard back elbow for a two count. Delay tags in. He mounts the top turnbuckle where Mr. Adonis clobbers him with a boot. Vain makes the cover for the victory.

COMMENTS: What happened to Mr. Adonis applying the CLAW? Editing out the middle portion of the contest took away from it.

- After commercial, our favorite heels reign supreme in mid ring, but the Owner has other ideas. Sitting upon the Throne of Anarchy, the god of Anarchy, Jerry Palmer, rudely interrupts the celebration. Why not? Good heels deserve the tables turned on them. Palmer says he would pay Vain’s fan of there was one. He doesn’t blame Vain one bit: he smelt weakness and took advantage of it. One girl yells out, “I Love you Jerry,” as he admits to doing it all wrong. Palmer compares Vain & Adonis smelling blood to the Devil’s Rejects and Justice Served. He blames them for Shadow Jackson’s injury. Palmer says the problem is that he asked other people to solve his own problems. So guess what? He is going to handle the problems himself. The solution is Vain vs. Palmer in a situation. Vain would probably like a wrestling match with his hooligan by his side. Palmer doesn’t claim to be a wrestler, so here’s the deal: Mr. Adonis will wrestle an opponent of Palmer’s choice. (Didn’t Palmer just say he won’t enlist anyone else’s services?) If Adonis wins, Vain gets Palmer in a wrestling match. Palmer goes ballistic by smashing his head with a cowbell. Awesome! So if Adonis loses, Palmer will get a bunkhouse match with Vain and Mr. Adonis enjoying handcuffs. It will be Vain’s death warrant. Palmer doesn’t care what the NWA or GAEC thinks. f**k the GAEC. The NWA Arena is like an apple orchard, if you want some of Palmer’s ass, come pick a bushel. Vain & Mr. Adonis are left befuddled at Palmer’s statement. The crowd chants “Jerry” as the segment ends. Good stuff.

2. Jesse Emerson defeated Don Matthews w/Brody Ray Chase & Melissa Coates by countout.

This match is joined in progress with Chase flirting with Coates. Emerson takes advantage of a distracted Matthews by launching an offensive flurry. Matthews grows weary of Chase and decapitates Emerson with the Lariat of DOOM~! Matthews heads to ringside to confront Chase about hitting on Coates. The referee exercises his count. Coates signals to Matthews he better reenter the ring, but it’s too late. A domestic dispute ensues as Coates slaps the taste out of Chase’s mouth.

COMMENTS: This segment could have been reduced to a skit. Emerson has potential, but he needs a good gimmick to get over.

- Up next is a vignette with Talent & Money. The Hollywood Brunettes call for a truce after using underhanded tactics on each other. The Brunettes enlists the services of T & M to rid them of the New Wave and the Wild Bunch. In fact, they want Billy to buck off.

3. New Wave (Derek Driver & Steven Walters) fought “Brokeback” Billy Buck & Chris King to a no contest when the Hollywood Brunettes and Talent & Money interfered.

John Johnson continues to praise Talent & Money. The match ends abruptly ends when the Millionaire Alliance (I had to come up with some name for them) launches an all out assault on the New Wave and the Brokeback Bunch. (Boy, I’m going to catch hell for that one day.) The heels commandeer a maintenance ladder and the Brunettes turn on T & M. The Brunettes try to eliminate all of the competition. The Brunettes mounts the ladder and pose to signify their dominance over the lower spectrum of the tag team division.

COMMENTS: This was to set for a ladder match at Hardcore Hell.

4. Truitt Fields pinned Shaun Tempers W/Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness to retain the NWA Anarchy TV Title.

It didn’t take long for Wilson to blatantly interfere to swing the momentum in Tempers’ favor. Tempers humbles Fields in the spirit of the Iron Sheik before transitioning into a full blown cobra clutch. Fields escapes with a backslide for a two count. Tempers regains the advantage with a backbreaker. Tempers climbs to the High Rent District and misses a top rope kneedrop. The referee exercises his count as both men rise to their feet. They trade stiff forearms until Fields gains the advantage. They rebound off the ropes and crumble to the arena floor after a double coconut. With two minutes remaining, Fields mounts the top turnbuckle and kicks Tempers away. Tempers rolls over on a cross bodyblock attempt for a near fall. Fields finally wins with a backdrop followed by a chokeslam.

COMMENTS: This match was perfectly fine, but was used more to set up tonight’s feature confrontation.

Afterwards, the Devil’s Rejects prepare to stump Fields’ height with the Hellhammer, but the lights go out. After the utility bill is paid, Fields has escaped and Mikal Judas stands tall. He disposes of Azreal and chokeslams Tempers.

5. Mikal Judas defeated Azreal w/Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness by DQ.

After commercial, Judas guardrail smashes Azreal. The match is officially announced and we’re off to the races. Azreal ducks a top rope clothesline and nails a superkick. He follows up with a mega stiff running knee strike in the corner. Azreal allows Judas to return to a vertical base and clobbers him with a flying kick. With Judas on the floor, Azreal plays with the referee’s boot to allow the Staff of Righteousness to do its damage. Alas, it only serves to further piss off Judas so that Azreal can regain the advantage. Judas no sells everything except a kick that separates his hairs. Ouch, that was stiff. Back in the ring, Azreal ducks the Kick of Fear and stiffs Judas. Judas goozles Azreal, but Azreal elbows his way out. Once again, Judas arises and lands the Kick of Fear! Judas lands his patented top rope clothesline (alright, so the Undertaker has done it for years) followed by a running clothesline in the corner. After a facewasher (not really, but close enough), Azreal escapes a chokeslam. Judas powers out the Ted Bundy and prepares for the El Crucifijo, but the Rejects launch an all out assault. Iceberg squashes Judas with the Ground Xero splash. Then, Iceberg steals referee Harold James in the face before landing another Ground Xero splash. Judas rises again and eats a third Ground Xero splash. Truitt Fields and Jeff Lewis makes the save. Judas pulls a disappearing act after the lights go out. So what is the Feature Presentation doing in the ring with the TV Champion? Well, he’s there to turn on Fields, isn’t he? Why else would he be out? Lewis poses after delivering a swinging neckbreaker. The crowd chants “Lewis sucks” as he laughs his posterior off. Had it been me, I would have killed the champion with something like the Final Curtain.

COMMENTS: These two were stuff as usual. Again, the match was fine and was basically used to advance a pair of storylines.

OVERALL: This episode was the setup show for the setup shows to Hardcore Hell. There was more focus on storylines than actual wrestling. The leftovers of the Anger Alliance segment should have been reduced to a skit to allow more time for the opening match. It’s hard to pack 5 matches into an hour show, but the show still accomplished the mission of building towards Hardcore Hell.

Here are the results from the May 26th Battlezone show
in Magee, MS:

-The show began with the Leading Edge (Monty Warbucks,
Calvin Rose, and Bryan Rival) making their way to the
ring. The trio began to intimidate the fans and make
claims against the Williamson family. Acting
Commissioner Jim Hendrix then told the Leading Edge
that if they wanted the Williamsons they could have
them.....on one condition: The wrestler who was
pinned in the match would recieve ten lashes with a
belt courtesy of the winner.

1)Silent Death vs. Atomic Kid: Kid gets the win via
dq after Silent Death blast him with an illegal
object. Death removes his hood to show that in
actuallity it was his former partner, Rick Morgan that
was posing as Silent Death.

2)Cool Jay Steele vs. "Psycho" Toby Williamson:
Possibly the best pure wrestling match of the night.
The Psycho came up with the victory, much to the
dissapointment of a very irrate Jay Steele.

3)Ragin' Rick Morgan vs. Menace: Menace pulled out
the victory after the Atomic Kid got involved and cost
Morgan the match.

4)Lightning Monroe vs. Ron Horn: After proclaiming
that Horn was not in the building and that he feared
Monroe, Horn showed up to get the victory and some
much wanted revenge against Ron Horn.

5)The Leading Edge (Monty Warbucks, Calvin Rose, Bryan
Rival) vs. The Williamsons (Tim, Joe, and Tyson):
This hard fought match had fans on their feet. There
were many near falls, but finally with the help of
brother Toby, the Williamsons got the pin on Calvin
Rose. As the brothers held Calvin Rose, Tim began to
give the lashes but then stated that he had someone
better to give out the punishment. Out walked Pop
Williamson, the Patriarch of the Family. Pop had not
been seen in a month since Calvin Rose laid him out
and sent him to the hospital. Pop proceeded to give
four hard lashes, then handed it to his wife, Ms. Dee
who gave three lashes. Finally, brother Jim gave the
last three lashes as the Williamsons stood victorios
in the ring.

NWA East/ Pro Wrestling Xpress
SATURDAY MAY 3rd, 2008
IN HARM'S WAY 2
Jacob Woll Pavilion
McKeesport, PA

OFFICIAL RESULTS
Patrick Hayes came out before the start of the show,
claiming to have a bounty on the NWA East Brass
Knuckles Championship. He said he is a free agent,
willing to put his services up to the highest
managerial bidder, specifically when it came to his
title match against Mantis later in the night.

NWA East Tag Team Champs Iron Justice defeated "The
Legacy" Samuel Elias & "Division 1" James Ross after a
double team sunset flip and springboard dropkick.
Afterwards, Iron Justice offered both men a shot at
the titles down the line.

In a match of 2 debuting NWA East stars, Jimi The
High-Flyin' Hippie, with his manager Morgan
Rockafeller, defeated the large and unorthodox Big
Lenny. The much larger Lenny controlled most of the
match, but the smaller, quicker Jimi was able to
utilize his speed and agility and roll up Lenny for
the win. After impressive debuts, NWA East officials
are arranging to bring both men back.

"The Spotlight" Scottie Gash defeated Ashton Amhurst
after a Spotlight Drop. After the match, Gash admitted
his frustration with NWA East and the fact that he's
not in any title scene right now whether it's the NWA
National Title, North American Tag Team Titles, NWA
East Heavyweight Title, or anything else. He also
admitted to getting an offer from a "company 5 minutes
down the road" and that maybe he should consider it.
He then left Krystal Frost alone and walked out the
front door. Where does Gash stand in NWA East? Will he
ever come back?

Crusher Hansen came to the ring and announced that
Chris Taylor, upon hearing he had to wrestle Crusher,
punched a window and had to get nearly 50 stitches in
his hand. NWA East Championship Committee member JC
Slick hit the ring with Chris Taylor and they
announced that Crusher's opponent would be a hardcore,
chair-swingin' ECW original... AXL ROTTEN!

The Straight Jacket Mafia defeated the "Dash Bennett
Mafia" of Dash Bennett & Bulldozer, with Stacy Hunter,
after a Facelift to Bennett. As a result, Sean Dahmer
& Apollyon will not only stay together as a tag team,
but they will both have a shot at Dash for the Three
Rivers Title!

After intermission, Jon Kronica got jumped by Paul
Atlas & Brian Anthony. The Wrong Crowd attacked
Kronica's knee, sending a message to the former NWA
East Tag Team Champion, who's partner Max Alexander,
was not in the building.

Patrick Hayes, by hook or by crook, was finally able
to topple Mantis to become the new NWA East Brass
Knuckles Champion. Stacy Hunter & BC Steele were
circling ringside, looking to "cash in" on the bounty,
but ended up fighting each other. As the ref was
distracted, Krystal Frost hit the ring and low blowed
Mantis, leading to a Froggy Splash from Hayes for the
win.

Marcus "King Kong" Dowling returned to NWA East to
present his team of "Pretty" Jimmy Dream & "Dirtbag"
Adam Ugly: Pretty Ugly. These NWA East newcomers were
in for a test as they took on the NWA North American
Tag Team Champions, the Wrong Crowd. Atlas & BA were,
as always, accompanied by their business manager
Curtis N. Stevenson. But they also had an entourage
made up of members of the Killer Wolf Films team, the
Wolfpack. But this entourage may have been a detriment
to the Wrong Crowd, as the president of Killer Wolf
Films, Len Kabasinski, entered the ring and
superkicked "Pretty" Jimmy Dream. But the referee
turned around at the last moment to see the kick, and
immediately disqualified the Wrong Crowd.

As Axl Rotten came to the ring, he decided to make his
match with NWA National Heavyweight Champion Crusher
Hansen a No Disqualification match. Both men brawled
all over the Jacob Woll Pavilion, as it was more of a
war than a match. When they made their way back to the
ring, Hansen's manager BC Steele got on the apron,
providing just enough of a distraction to Rotten to
allow Hansen to destroy Rotten with a sign shot,
leading to his first successful title defense.
Afterwards, Rotten promised to get his hands on Hansen
sometime in the future, maybe with a friend in tow.
With Rotten scheduled to compete for NWA East on June
6th's Ring Of Fire 2 showcase, who knows what will
happen in this volitile situation?!

NWA East Champion Sterling James Keenan successfully
defended his title against "The Untouchable" Chris
LeRusso. LeRusso sent his manager Morgan Rockafeller
to the back, wanting to take on his biggest match on
his own, once again testing himself as he did at the
last showcase, Crossfire. SJK attempted to use his
height and reach advantage, beating down LeRusso with
brutal strikes. But LeRusso would not give up. After
LeRusso locked in the Halo Sleeper, SJK walked up the
turnbuckles, attempting to escape, but wound up on top
of LeRusso, pinning his shoulders to the mat for 3.
Afterwards, SJK and LeRusso shared a handshake....

...until Patrick Hayes hit the ring and challenged
SJK. As Hayes was getting in the ring, Krystal Frost
revealed her plan as a student of SJK's and a member
of his entourage, Ashton Amhurst, laid SJK out with
the FNW title belt. Both men attacked him until WTAE
Channel 4 Action News anchor Jon Burton pulled Ashton
off and Chris Taylor hit the ring. Taylor challenged
Hayes to a match next show, telling him to get a shot
at the NWA East Heavyweight Title, he has to go
through the longest reigning champion ever, Taylor himself!

Here are the results from last night's NWA/ECCW show in front of 275
fans in Vancouver, BC:

CJ Strongheart over Danni Deeds

Cole Bishop over Sid Sylum

Scotty Mac over Synn
